Amazing from start to finish. They took great care to make sure my wife and I were happy with everything! What a great opertunity.

I really enjoyed having the opportunity to be featured in the magazine with my husband and fur babies. Dealing with Gord Daniels was lovely. He has such a wonderful customer care approach and was friendly and professional.

The reason for the 4 stars was with our dealings with the photographer. We were happy with the photos taken and the ones selected for the magazine, but we were never given the chance to purchase them as promised from our discussion with the photographer. He never responded to my follow-up nor reached out to us after the shoot to give us an opportunity to buy prints.

Gord was informed of this. He replied immediately which made me feel valued. That went a long way with allowing this to be a mostly positive experience in my eyes.

I was an expert contributor and had a reader pick up the phone to ask a question about my article! NEVER have I ever had any feedback from any form of advertising except Best Version Media. We changed our ad every month and the designer did an amazing and creative job. The publisher was more than a salesperson, she became a friend. Thank you, Best Version Media for branding is so well and putting our story in front of our target audience.

Photographer was great and accommodating. The writer was also great and we appreciate the time they put in.

If it’s possible to get a digital copy of our pages of the magazine that would take it to a 5 ;)

I can not say enough about the Team of people who make this magazine a success: Margaret Hemphill; the publisher,Don Bain; Writer/Columnist,Juergen/Teri the photographers. What a great team. They were all so very kind and thoughtful. Each step of the way, they explained everything...making sure I was comfortable with article. Truly, thank you all.

We had an amazing experience working with the Southeast Lanier Living Magazine team. Communication never lagged and direction was clear. The photo shoot was a very fun experience and we will actually be using the photographer for personal photography soon.

I was chosen to be the cover story for a BVM publication. Their staff was extremely professional, from leadership, to writers, to photographers. All of my interactions were positive, upbeat, and reflected a clear emphasis and knowledge of their local community.

Very helpful with questions and was easy to work with. We really enjoyed our experiences with them from start to finish.

A bunch of scam artists I fell a bit behind on payments as they were not bringing me business. I had a verbal agreement to pay what I could and I was paying them every 3 weeks or so. They refused to escalate me to a supervisor. Just excuse after excuse why no supervisor was available every time I called They claimed 500000 digital ads monthly yet refused to send me the Google statistics. Left messages. They never called back. Then they suddenly took me to collections. And now I'm stuck paying a bill monthly through collections for services I am not receiving. Avoid this company at all costs. I should have checked their reviews before I signed the contract. If I'd have done that I'd have seen that 23 percent of their reviews were 1 star rated. That's nearly 25% of their customers who were let down.

I agree with MN, this company is a scam. They charged me $5000 for an ad in a Houston, West University community newspaper. To this date I have had ZERO response. Notice that their 5-star reviews never mention any return on investment. I don't even know if they have published my ads since, I only received a West University magazine for January and February. Where is March and April??? The style of the ads they print show that they are NOT branding experts. Do not fall for their slick marketing campaign. Save your money and do referral marketing instead.

It even gets worse from here. They sent my account to collections. First collections says I owe $1400. Then a second collections letter says I owe $4500. I called collections to get an explanation and they know nothing. Then I called Best Version Media at 888-632-0068 and they don't answer the phone. These people are slime.

The print ads are misleading. They say you will be advertised in all the best Zip codes for the magazine and that's true, but then you find out the distribution is quarterly instead of monthly. They charge you monthly though. I verified this by questioning several people that I know who receive the magazine. They all say "about once a quarter" and they live in different neighborhoods. That means most of them never saw the "expert contribution" I made in a section of the magazine which I paid extra for.

The other side is the digital media ads. They claim views of 20k to 30k each month, but the actual traffic going to facebook or my website are next to zero. In essence the digital traffic reports are completely made up. You're paying for a fake report each month. They do an ad mockup to show you what it looks like and then send out a billing with the supposed ad traffic numbers.

I'm not sure what they cant actually just drive traffic to your business pages instead of doing what they're doing.

After paying them for 18 moths to do nothing with digital, I ran an ad directly with facebook for one week and the traffic increased from 20 views on a one year old ad that I made myself (and BVM was supposed to promote), to 1,100 views. I also got 2 clients out of it that week. It cost me $38 to Facebook, instead of $250 to BVM. The click through rate to my website also went up after running that one ad.

Then they try and pressure you saying that it is a legal contract and you cant opt out for another couple of years, until the contract expires.

They're scammers, and should be treated as such.

I hope this helps someone who comes across this. Find a different ad agency, this organization will take you for tens of thousands if they can. They got me for over 12k because I wasn't paying attention. I had a lot on my plate at the time wearing all the hats, caring for a parent, death in household etc.

I hired them to advertise my company and they just robbed me instead. It almost sunk the company with the lack of new business. Don't let it happen to you.

You have to be a rich unemployed person to work for them and pay for there services. This company is a scam. They have a system called baseline, where you have to pay arround 6000 CAD per month from your own pocket. On Top it is coldcalling and you have to find your own clients, so there is no help and no team who will support you.

I had a really bad experience with this company, especially the coach that was designed to me. When I tried to switch I couldn't because he was the one designated to the Area and they didn't had other one so I left. Coaches are not supposed to judge other trainees and talk bad about them to other workers and they should keep the relationship professional and not trying to be to friendly. Sometimes I thought that he wanted something more than being my coach.

Most if not all of the 5 star reviews are of people who were interviewed and featured in the magazine. The reviews by people who spend the money to advertise in the magazine are all 1 star. I had a guy call me today to advertise, but we NEVER advertise in print. Don’t waste your money, especially if they don’t guarantee the readership, they don’t guarantee numbers of leads. Its not necessarily a scam, but if you don’t read the fine print or don’t have an attorney review the contract, you are a scam waiting to be made. Advertise if you like, but print media is dead and these are the last of the snake oil tonic salesmen. Ask to talk to their customers.
