We have had a very poor experience with BVM. Zero ROI, always trying to upsell, and honestly not a magazine I would read. When we wanted to end our contract, customer service would not respond to our inquiries. Buyer beware!

Our photo shoot was a lot of fun, with Nina. She really captured who we are and the things we enjoy!

Ximena did a wonderful job crafting our "story" from our inputs and tied them so well with the photos.

All in all, it was a neat experience and reminded us that we have a lot of good in our life.

Wonderful experience from start to finish!

Working with Brad, Tara, and Angela was amazing from start to finish! They are true professionals that care about their job and it shows! They all constantly checked on me and also was there to quickly provide answers to any questions I had. They all not only provided me with an amazing experience that I have been bragging to everyone about but they also helped boost my confidence and made me feel amazing all around.

Really enjoyed doing the interview with Betty, we've known each other through business and charities for years and had lost touch. Also Fiona for her kindness while taking pics. Have had many positive comments and questions, just wish we could have gotten more in it about the changes in this area. ps the family loved it! Only glitch was at front of the magazine where it said our dad came from the east That was our great grandpa, dad was born in Vernon. Also disappointed I didn't know I was getting the King Charles award for Community service before publishing date. Truly humbled and honored for receiving an award for doing the things I love. From initial inquiry to seeing the magazine in our mailbox, the process simple, helpful and all the staff were responsive answering all questions.

Our rep told us in the sales visit that "we should be prepared to invest in the advertising for 6 months before we begin to see any results, because we are trying to build brand awareness." Well, we are 3 months shy of completing our 3-year contract and to my knowledge, have not gotten a single customer from the many thousands of dollars we have paid. We met several times with the rep, and he changed his story, told us that he never promised us any actual customers, only "brand awareness." Who pays $550 - $700/month for 3 years for brand awareness? That is not what I was told in the sales meeting.

They do not run Facebook or Google ads in any way that you can check the statistics they send you. For months we got a piece of paper with a HANDWRITTEN figure on it, saying that they did so many thousand impressions on Facebook and Google. Because they don't run those ads on OUR account - which would be the standard way to do this - there is no way to even know if what they claim is true.
The contract is truly inviolable, and they pressure you to sign it on an ipad with teeny tiny print at the original meeting. IF you consider this company, make sure you get everything the rep says IN WRITING in the contract. Bus my best advice would be to stay far, far away. Our experience has been a bitter, bitter lesson in business mistakes and not trusting people who present themselves as Christians who want to help you.

Replying to their response: Yes, the written agreement does not promise any return on investment. That's why I specified that the rep made VERBAL representations and advised anyone looking to do business with BVM to NOT BE SWAYED by what the rep SAYS. Ask yourself, why would any thinking person agree to a 3 year, non-breakable contract without any hope of return on investment? The contract is valid, the rep misrepresented what BVM could do for us.

Spectacular job by all involved putting it together

Let’s start by saying BEWARE ANY company that renews your contract without contacting you to discuss your situation is not a trust worthy organization.
After 4 years of running adds with no results from there platform. Knowing our contract was timing out we were trying to contact our sales rep to cancel,Who apparently had quit and again no communication was made.
When we finally got in touch with them they said our contract had automatically renewed ,again with no communication .
They responded by offering us adds in a new territory ,that did not happen. When we reached agin to follow up that guy had quit again no communication and there were no adds in the new location offered .So we tried to cancel again they responded by saying they are not excepting any cancellation. So We stopped payment and now they communicating . TO BAD TO LATE
