Benzinga.com is running what amounts to a bait-and-switch racket cloaked in financial jargon and false promises of wealth. I was lured in by their slick YouTube content and sales webinars, where so-called "experts" like Matt Maley, Nic Chahine, and Chris Capre hyped up fairy-tale trade returns of 100% to 2500%, with alleged win rates of 65% to 85%. They implied you could turn $250 trades into $9,500 in a year—all while flashing charts and using deceptive urgency tactics that would make used car salesmen blush.

Hook, line, and sinker—I subscribed to what I was told was a $79/year options education program that included trade ideas. What I actually got was a broken, half-assed, glorified PowerPoint course with less educational value than a 10-minute free YouTube video. It was disorganized, directionless, and clearly designed to funnel users into higher-ticket upsells rather than teach anything useful.

The moment I signed up, I was immediately ambushed with an “exclusive” $399 upsell for some other "incredible" service—one that turned out to be locked behind yet another paywall. To actually get the trades I was promised, I was told to pay another $29–$49/month, per service.

When I realized I’d been conned, I reached out to their support via chat, phone, and email to request a refund under their so-called ‘money-back guarantee’—only to discover that this, too, was a lie. They don’t give refunds. What they offer instead is "credit" toward more of their worthless garbage. It's like asking for a refund at a restaurant after food poisoning, and being told you can only get more spoiled food.

So I tried to salvage my loss by switching to a different service they offered. Big mistake. Their tech platform is comically broken, with non-functional tools, constant glitches, and system crashes—problems they've admitted were due to known hardware and software failures. They knowingly allowed paying customers to rely on a faulty trading system, all while ignoring support requests for months, only responding when threatened with complaints to the BBB and FTC.

But the most outrageous part? Following their advice has cost me over $10,000 since March. Their trade alerts are pure garbage—low-quality, lagging, poorly timed, and often completely wrong. I've lost money not just because the trades were bad, but because their broken system wouldn’t even execute orders properly at times. They knew about these technical issues for over a month, yet continued charging subscribers full price with no transparency, no apology, and no accountability.

After researching, I discovered I am far from alone. There are dozens—if not hundreds—of similar horror stories online. People losing thousands in subscription fees, then tens of thousands more following Benzinga's reckless trade ideas. It’s a predatory system designed not to educate or enrich the customer—but to bleed them dry, then sell them another course to "fix" the damage.

Let me be crystal clear:

Benzinga.com is running a scam.

They are engaging in deceptive advertising, fraudulent upselling, and negligent service delivery.

They are causing real financial harm to real people.

This company should be heavily fined, investigated for fraud, and ideally shut down permanently. Every dime they've stolen from hard-working consumers through deception and dysfunction should be refunded in full, with damages.

If you’re reading this and thinking about giving them a dollar—don’t. You’d be better off lighting your money on fire.

I purchased a lifetime membership to Benzinga and Benzinga Pro. I truly regret having done so. While the website does provide useful information for traders, there are two serious issues that the website has not been able to address in the 3 years I have been with the service. First, they market the fact that trade alerts will get sent out via your desktop computer, the phone app, and via email. It is rare that I ever get any notifications and, if they do come, they are several hours late, so late to be useless. Second, their customer support is terrible. They have not provided me support to address these issues, despite numerous emails, phone calls, and messages sent on their desktop app. The bottom line is I think they have no idea what they are doing with their notifications or how to address issues. I belong to multiple trading websites, and I get every notification from these other sites. If you are thinking of joining Benzinga, seriously think twice. If you really want to give it a go, then insist on a trial membership. I have asked them to refund my money and terminate my membership, and they refuse. Trader Beware!

I paid Benzinga then Suddenly they canceled my account . There is virtually no support either via e-mail or by phone .. I was stupid enough to pay them again to restart my e-mail alerts they canceled . So far I have giving the close to 600.00 and again they ignore my e-mails and again my e-mail alerts have stopped .. If you need a site for the market that's reputable .. I highly recommend . ZACKS , CNBC OR MARKETBEAT ! REMEMBER I WARNED YOU !!!

I signed up for a years subscription, that was my first mistake with Benzinga....More loser recommendations than winners...Every communication is a blizzard of offers to "upgrade" your experience to the nervana of trading that will reward you with riches...I mean DAILY offers and special deals if i truly want to be rich. I am sorry i fell for their misleading hype and wish i had never heard of them....Forget the monday morning hot tips, they rarely appear and so far, most of them have lost money... I am going to change my email address to get rid of these morons.

I recently purchased Benzinga Edge to try, figuring that I get some news alerts etc.. in a timely fashion, and if not, then after a short trial I'll cancel and get my money back. Their advertisement is misleading. The Edge service does not include even the very basic things. The charge first, did not let try the service at all. Now they claim that "we do not refund" is in the rules of the service. But, of course, one only finds out what the ruels are AFTER they pay... I do not care how much small typeface rules are embedded in the bowels of their huge website somewhere, the fact remains: their email ads are misleading, do not say exactly what is and what is not included in this service. Now, I feel cheated because I am not at all satisfied with their service, and they are simply refusing the refund my money.

Bottom line: this is a worthless package you get NOTHING you could not get for free. Their "insider"newsletter is a joke, they give you yesterdays news, you get a better newsletter free from yahoo for instance. This package is not good for anything, they are using it to try to coax you into buying more expensive services, so you are basically paying to be advertised to, while receiving no value. You simply keep running into paywalls, as if you running it for free... I feel cheated. I will not ever associate with such a firm in the future, they cannot be trusted.

I was in the market for a platform to track my portfolio throughout the day and decided to explore Benzinga Edge after seeing their ad. I initially tried their Basic version, but it lacked essential features, and Benzinga Pro was priced too high for my needs. The Edge product seemed like a middle ground at $59, so I decided to give it a shot.

Within 24 hours, I realized the portfolio tracker they advertise is not what you get with Edge. Their Benzinga Pro version boasts a real-time dynamic portfolio tracker (similar to Yahoo Finance), but the Edge version only updates overnight—a basic feature you can find on dozens of free sites.

Disappointed, I immediately requested a refund through email, their website, and even by phone. It has been four days, and I’ve received no response. They advertise a free trial period, so why the complete lack of accountability? At this point, their silence feels like stonewalling, and it’s incredibly frustrating. This experience raises serious doubts about their customer service and transparency.

Subscribed to Benzinga Inner Circle, Matt Maley trade picks. Trade recommendations were to be received by email (by default). Paid $1782. Have received Zero trade recommendations. Very unethical company, fraudulent service. Refuses to refund and money.

After finding no way to delete my account on their website or app, I contacted customer service to delete my account and my third party investment account data from their database. They have my login information for my investment accounts which I linked to my Benzinga account. I have repeatedly asked Benzinga to delete this information. They always respond in a very bubbly way but about something totally unrelated. They said they unsubscribed me, they said they cancelled my membership, etc. I asked them to remove my data. That is not the same thing! With every reply from their customer service agents, the answers get more confusing. I swear they're not actually human.
