Purchased shoes from Clarke Bennet. Supposedly the shoes where to be delivered in 1-3 days. I have been waiting 10 days and no shoes. I have sent 3 different emails and no communication. Also the tracking of the shoes has come to a halt. No idea now on how to get my shoes ir my money refunded. Do not buy anything from this lousy company.

Didn’t receive product/order number
Ordered some shoes well over a week ago. Did not receive a confirmation email/order number to be able to track/prove I had purchased anything. The money left my debit account.
Shipping was advertised as within 4 days but I am yet to receive my product a week later. I emailed the customer service email stated on the website and no reply.
Please do not fall for this trap. A British named company based in Europe and shipped from China, fraudsters and should not be allowed.

I cancelled my order but it was still processed the next day. I'm now being told that they can't prevent the parcel being sent to the courier, and that returning the item or refusing the delivery will incur an extra cost to me. Very poorly managed company.

Very bad quality shoes
I have recently purchased a pair of shoes from this company. Upon receiving, I noticed the quality of the shoe was very poor. It does not at all respond tothe description, does not help with plantar fasciitis, hurts my feet terribly when I have them on. I’ve tried, and after only 10-15 minutes I needed to return home and change my shoes.
I’ve asked for a refund, and they scam people by saying the return fees are so expensive, it makes it not worth to return. Best they did was offer me a 10% refund, which resulted in being 5$. Pretty petty for a 55$ pair of shoes that have the features of something out of a dollar store, and that I will toss in the garbage.
I am doing research online, and I can tell you that the reviews are not good. I am very disappointed in myself for having trusted them. This is my fault, granted.
Nevertheless, I am finding review sites as many as I can, to let people know of my awful experience and poor workmanship of their shoes. Buyer beware, don't buy from Bennett and clarke!!

We have searched our records thoroughly and can find no order, and no customer record, matching your name or details. Beyond that, several things do not match how Bennett & Clarke operates. We take payment in pounds sterling only and have no facility to charge in dollars, yet the amounts you mention are in dollars. We also ship exclusively within the United Kingdom, and your Trustpilot profile shows you are based in Canada, which is not a country we deliver to.
Taken together, this strongly suggests the order was placed with a different company, quite possibly one selling similar products under a similar name. I understand how frustrating that is when you have had a genuinely poor experience, and I would like to help you reach whoever you actually dealt with.

Terrible - avoid this company
Terrible. Shipping took double the time promised. The shoes were too small and not of good quality. The returns process is difficult and the customer services people are slow and unhelpful. Terrible experience.

Bennet & Clarke of London does not exist
Bennet & Clarke of London does not exist as a company. It is a ficticious name that this Dutch online retailer uses to sell cheap products directly from China. Except they do not say on their product pages that they ship directly from China. You need to read the returns policy.
If you want to return anything you have to pay the shipping yourself (£30+) to China which is rarely worth it. There's the scam. They make money anyway as you are unlikely to return it.
You may as well buy directly from a Chinese website and save yourself their mark-up.
I will be reporting them to trading standards and I encourage anyone with a bad experience with them to do the same.
- In response to Sarah's reply; I have had many emails on that address with her colleague Claire so I am sure she is fully aware of the situation. 20% discount was the best offer.
Stiil, it looks good on Trustpilot for them to post a pro-active response.
