Their customer service alone is enough to never make a purchase again. They take weeks to respond and offer no solutions, not to mention I ordered a custom bug out from them that took over two months to arrive and it wasn’t how I ordered it. Matter of fact, it was pretty much an off the shelf piece, no engravings, nothing! Not worth it at all. I guarantee, Your time and money are more precious.

I've been a knife nut for a long time , I own a few benchmades along with multiple others, I've always liked the quality of benchmade they just feel like we'll made reliable kit. I bought a bugout from benchmade about 2 years ago , it's been my daily carry ever since , anyway I grabbed something else it wasn't long before I regretted not grabbing my bugout, but from daily tough use the blade would get dull and whenever I sharpened it wasn't long before it would dull again. I reached out to benchmade and let me send the knife in for service , I just received it back and it feels like it did when it was brand new , I always loved their quality but after having such a great experience with their customer service they definitely earned a life long customer in me

I put in an order over a month ago. Since that time I have contacted Benchmade 11 times. Something has gone terribly wrong with their customer service. It's all automated responses and one line replies a week after contacting them with incorrect information.

We've been buying Benchmade knives for a decade and we've liked them but they aren't the best made knives out there. Our loyalty has died with this last debacle with customer service. The knife was a purchase for our son-in-law's birthday. Obviously he never got it because it was never shipped. A month into it I finally got that answer.

I get that customer service isn't something some companies want to put much money into, but Benchmade should know how bad it is. I would gladly share my email chain with them, but they won't write me back just to find out where a knife I bought went so I'm guessing they don't care much on this front either.

Awful.

I bought a carbon fiber mini bugout. It has broken 3 times. Has had little use. For $250 bucks this is the worst excuse for a knife I have ever seen!
I have a Sog as an everyday knife and I’m pretty rough with it and it has never let me down.
I will never buy another benchmade anything!

I've carried Benchmade into combat with the United States Army and also on the streets of Portland Oregon with Portland Police Bureau and civilian. I've worn many hats in my lifetime and Benchmade has been with me on that life journey performing flawlessly. Thank you 🙏

Benchmade are normally good quality knives and my family owns at least a dozen. My son sent one back to get it sharpened and repaired and I waited on hold for an hour and a half and when it was finally my turn it auto disconnected me saying no one was available to take the call for the help line and to send an email. I sent an email and have not heard back for 6 days now. Customer contact and service has definately hit the crapper.

Own several blades and I love the osborne 672 that I got. Adjustable assisted open, and grip are perfect. Bought it at a spot in Julian, ca years ago and its still my beauty. Also got the bushcraft 162, which I love. The weight and balance are a great fit. Gonna purchase the infidel hopefully soon because it’s been on my wishlist forever. Keep up the great work! Love the steel.

I got for my birthday. A mini bug out and a griptilian. The mini bug out is a great knife for bug out. It is light. And has great steel. It is small. It would make a great EDC for the small man or a woman. The griptilian is a good feeling man's knife. I would give 5 stars but they have to be broken in. Now the fixed blades are spectacular. Thanks benchmade. You guys make a good quality USA product that I am proud to own.

I bought a benchmade 42 balisong over 10 years ago and needed new hardware. They told me they would send all new parts and didn't. Then they said I have to pay over $100 to send my knife in for 2 screws that cost them 5 cents just because "Its against their policy to send out internal parts" How the hell is a pivot screw an internal part?? They just lost a customer of well over 12 years because of a couple screws lol!

I carry a clip style pocket knife daily. For my birthday, I decided to search for a lifetime knife. I like the drop point blade but most are heavy. The Benchmade Bugout seemed the perfect style and I began to refine my search. The Benchmade 535-3 is the absolute perfect carry knife for my use. The S90V super steel is amazing and the carbon fiber handle completes this perfect package. The EZ manual open and axis lock are flawless. The combination is just over 2 ounces and can’t even feel it on my pocket. I love it! Found the best deal at Scheels, best price going in AND a $50 gift certificate! I stand amazed.

Honestly, I don’t know how anyone can give this company any less than four stars. Every single time I’ve had a question or concern, I hear back from someone within a day or so. It’s never an automated response, it’s an actual email sent from someone who has read the message and responds to it. People seem like no matter what, there’s SOMETHING that someone else should have done differently. To those people I say, “the world is unfair”. In the grand scheme of things, how important to your life is it if a company or CSR or just a kid walking to school and started crossing the road without looking, be lambasted by you over something so trivial? If your life is so easily disrupted by something that in actuality means absolutely NOTHING, then you really have had a very charmed life.

Horrible quality control, and non existent customer service. After multiple attempts to get help and sitting on the phone on hold for a total of 2hrs in 4 separate 30 min calls, I'm done trying. Glad I got rid of the rest of them when I did and this one will rot in a drawer since they wont help at all. Worthless company

Ordered Dec 21st. Email with tracking number on Dec 22nd. As of Jan 9th, tracking only says label printed. Have emailed them 3 times. Have not received any responses. Customer Service lacking.

AMAZON delivers knifes in 3 days, are they not eeapons also?

I own several Benchmade knives and have NEVER been disappointed with ANY of them, even as they get older. In fact, they just seem to get better with age. I have lockbacks and fixed-blade knives, an assisted opening and an auto. Superior fit, finish, and materials. They hold an edge exceptionally well and reharpen fairly easily (even after my wife has used them as a screwdriver or gouge!)

I wish that Benchmade made a mult-blade, folding pocket knife. Until they do, I'll buy and carry another top quality, multi-blade folder, a Case knife. Of course I'll have one of my several Benchmades clipped to my pocket, as well!

I'm done with Buck knives and their poor quality. I might expect such shoddy work in a Chinese made knife, but I'm talking about USA made Bucks!

I own a few Benchmade knives, really high quality, very impressive knives.
Recently, I needed some parts for the knives, I emailed them, and then followed up with a phone call - could not have been better, I was dealt with really quickly, and the parts were sent out to me free of charge. I got a really warm welcome on the phone, the customer service rep was more than willing to help me.
