Me and my partner came across beaver log cabins while we down in Donegal, we Just said we would go in for a look and get a feel for log cabins as we weren't sure if that's exactly what we wanted.. but as we entered the show room In Donegal we were greeted by Trevor to answer any quire's that we had he listened to our concerns and advised us which cabins would be best for us he was very helpful in helpings us in the right direction after a long conversation with Trevor we were happy to continue our journey to building our log cabins ... So when our journey began I was blown away by all the help and advice support that we were getting of Trevor he was with us every step of the way even down to the Furnishing of our cabins he organised it all .. all we had to do was turn the key and walk into our cabins feeling homely I would highly recommend Beaver log cabins.. the team of lads from start to finish were amazing lovely out going people and tbh I'll miss the lads .. I'm still blown away so thank you again

The first stage of construction of my Sligo log cabin is complete. Gavin & Stephen arrived on site and instantly identified an issue which was discussed at length and alternative quickly suggested. They were very pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and tidy tradesmen. The place was left immaculate. If this first stage is anything to go by I'll be one very happy lady. Thank you guys.

The construction of my log house commenced on 8th March 2022. The speed of which the house has gone up is unbelievable. Floors are down, kitchen is in and the sliderobes are the next task. I couldn't be happier with this service and as for the workers they have all given 110% and are perfectionists. I would really recommend this company.

Was short roof shingles but these were sent on by Beaver Log Cabins which was good. Happy that they followed up with this.

Poor quality window construction. Poor quality window hinges. Poor quality window handles. Many pieces of wood warped on arrival.

Delivery driver broke an existing house window by driving into it. Poor manners and didn't want to deal with the situation. Resulted in many phone calls getting no where.

Recently purchased and erected a Pavia Log cabin from Beaver .From the first point of contact with Natasha ,who supplied me with all the the information and pictures of recent Pavia Cabins completed, the whole process was seamless ,the Cabin was delivered on the date agreed by Garryowen Transport,
Upon erecting the Cabin , I had 2 queries which were answered by the Beaver Carpenters immediately. Before purchasing i was made fully aware of the works in preparing the base and the finishes once it was delivered. Everything worked perfect from the drawings provided and I would highly recommend the Beaver Team and the Cabin itself ,

After shopping around all the log cabin companies North & South Beaver Log Cabins were the only company that had the type of cabin that we wanted available . I was told it would be delivered within two weeks and we got a call from the transport company 2 days later and had it within 5. I was quoted 18-26 weeks by other companies . It took 2 men 3 days to put it up so was very happy with how quick it was to construct . We had advise from William the whole way threw as this was the first cabin that my carpenter had constructed.Cabin is up nearly 3 months now and we are delighted with it . I have my home gym on one side and a bar on the other . Perfect little man cave . Couldn’t fault the cabin or the staff from Trevor and Stephen who I dealt with when purchasing to William who was on the other end of the phone to answer every question the lads had .

My wife and I purchased an Olaug cabin last February. The cabin arrived on time as per the lead time given. It was delivered direct to site by Garyowen Transport who were very obliging with a difficult access point to our address. The cabin was very well packaged and no damages to report. The quality of the timber was very good with no warped/twisted logs. It was a first time installation for my carpenter but it was easy for him to follow. William was extremely helpful offering expert advice when requested. We are delighted with the outcome and we feel we have made a significant saving going with this cabin against a block built alternative. The Olaug is very multifunctional and the bi fold door system functions well. Based on our experience, we would have no hesitation in recommending Beaver Log Cabins.

Following a number of conversations with Beaver Log Cabins personnel during which I stressed the importance of a light-filled room, we bought the Whitegate cabin from the website for €6,500. The cabin delivered is NOT the Whitegate pictured on the website.

The windows which accompanied it were 20cm longer than the window outlets. A technical person from Beaver told us we had received an earlier model of the cabin with windows from a later cabin (neither of which corresponded to the photo on the website). The Beaver owner insisted that cutting out larger holes for the windows was the only solution. We felt the cabin should be replaced it wan’t the one we had ordered. Our builder believed cutting out the cabin walls to facilitate the larger windows might weaken the structure and was reluctant to do so. The Beaver owner did not accept that adjusting the structure was a problem. We had to buy more timber to reinforce the window surroundings and the procedure took a number of hours’ labour. We were offered €250 towards this expense.

More importantly, he did not accept that this was not the cabin we had ordered and insisted that the cabin plans are updated constantly. I sent him photos of the cabin on the website and ours with the narrower windows which meant that we were not getting the light-filled room we had ordered. He refused to accept that there was any problem with this.

Before purchasing, the costs to be incurred in installation were all downplayed. For example, that moving the materials from the front garden could be done in “20 to 30 minutes” by 2 men (a 6X3 metre 75cm high structure had been left on the pavement outside our house causing a serious public safety risk). It took 2 builders over 2.5 hours to move it. The construction took 2 tradesmen (overseen by a builder) 50 hours to complete. The paint cost €647from Beaver Log Cabins and we needed to purchase more. It took 100 hours to prepare, treat and paint the cabin (done by us with the help of family so no cost). The final cost of the cabin, which is NOT the one pictured on the website and ordered is over €12,000.

I believe we have a strong case for legal action against Beaver Log Cabins. However, we are retired and feel beaten down after our experiences with them and could not face any additional stress.

Infuriating, numerous emails and phone calls to get a missing fitting kit and instructions, yet still no update or word on it. Disgrace of customer service

Having just had a Jutka log cabin supplied and erected by Beaver Log Cabins, I thought I would share my experience with them.
From first contact with Trevor Watson right through the entire process to painting, I have been happy with everything and absolutely delighted with the finished product.
There are too many individuals to mention but everyone have been very friendly and professional and diligent in their work. Gavin’s team got to work on the base and did a fantastic job, followed by William who expertly laid all the logs and assisted by Stephen and Christopher joinery teams. Finally Mark and his entire team of painters spent a lot of time with their preparation and making sure the finished product looked fantastic.
Trevor delivered on his promise of making my wife very happy by customising the interior of the cabin into a fabulous home bar.
I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of making a purchase of a log cabin. If anyone would like to view arrangements can be made to view via Trevor.

At the start Trevor in beaver log cabins was great to deal with however as time went on trying to get warranty issues fixed has become a no go. Even before COVID our cabin developed a noise in the roof that makes it very uncomfortable sitting inside depending on the direction of the wind. We now have 3 water leaks coming in and we have phoned 6-8 times left messages, emailed all to no avail. We even looked to have the cabin painted by them and still no return calls If I knew what we know now I would have got my cabin elsewhere

Great Cabin really fab and getting hours of enjoyment in it - the team at Beaver Log Cabins are super professional Chris , Mark and Jonny’s team were excellent, nothing was an issue, Trevor you have a great team and thank you all for making our back garden come to life and making evenings truly enjoyable outdoors, no matter what the weather is like

what can I say but thank you so much.

I ordered a custom L shapered cabin to be my new workshop with one big section and one small section. The designer they provided was a huge help in me making exactly what i wanted.

I now not only have an amazing cabin but it has helped create the most amazing garden overall i've ever seen. I sent lots of pics to Beaver Log Cabin and it's great to see there using them. Looking at the photo's they put up it almost doesn't seem real and that its my cabin there using as i still can't belive how stunning it looks.

The two guys i've been speaking with Andy and Kelvin have but nothing but utterly amazing and there have been lots of calls friendly chats and discussions about the work to be done prior construction and i can't say enough about how amazing they have both been.

Because of Covid there was a little delay but my god Andy and kelvin didn't stop doing eveything they could to get it to me and this was at the worst of it. I'm so amazed at how professional polite and kind they have been and i still chat to them now to see how there doing. I honestly feel i have two new friends through the whole process.

I was helping a school put up a crap shed 16 x 20ft they had got and it wouldn't go together correctly as it was such a mess. So i rang kelvin out of the blue and told him the problem the school had and in seconds he had arranged for a REAL stables to be sent to the school and he did everything he could to help the school get what they needed. They now have way more than they could have hoped for and the whole school is so incrediably grateful to them as the school is a school for disabled people. Having such an amazing company like this go out of there way to help someone they have never seen is so rare in this world and just shows how amazing these guys are and the company.

The gentlemen that built the cabin where utterly amazing. they did a 3 day job in 2 days in nonstop pouring rain. they where socked to the bone but didn't stop working.

I'm hoping in about 5 years i can move into a biiger home and i will be getting a bigger cabin from these guys because i know for a fact there will be there to help, do everything they can to make it as easiy as possible for me and if there is ever a issue they will will always be there to help me.

This company is rare and amazing trust me i cant say enough about them. Kelvin, Andy and Andrea thank you all so much for everything.

We recently ordered a 'clock house' from Beaver which arrived safely and on time. The joiners who erected the building were very efficient, hard working and very pleasant. ~They did an excellent job and left no mess. We love the product - good quality, stylish and makes a real statement as one focal point of our garden. Overall we are really delighted. Although our clock house was not cheap with the extras we required plus erection cost it is definitely value for money both now and in the long run.
