Don't order from this company I've waited over a week to get refunded today no correspondence from them and no reason for cancelling order...now having to wait on refund

Just had another email saying dpd tried to deliver twice when no messages from dpd also had several deliveries from them

The company should do better with orders

This is the first time I had used this company although 3rd time of ordering from them...I found the staff (Paul, Luke and Simon) who I dealt with extremely helpful..even the delivery drivers are very helpful...also I had my deliveries within 2 days so can't fault them...would highly recommend Beatsons and would certainly use them again...Prices were also reasonable...

Firstly, Beatsons provide a quick courteous service and their prices are excellent. However, much of my fencing timber was badly warped and twisted with most posts having large splits running down their length. Many of the rails were so twisted that to affix them properly, I had to use a heavy duty sash clamp to force the back of the rail to meet the post.

I do like Beatsons in general but this time the fencing wood was sub-par in comparison to that I’ve purchased elsewhere this year.

Amazing service, expected 5 day delivery, got next day delivery, the delivery man took the extra time to spread the stones in place for me instead of just leaving the bulk bag. I am truly appreciative of the excellent service offered here

Avoid!!! orderd internal doors on a 3 to 5 working day delivery and heard nothing chased them up 4 days in and was told they would be in contact thay are routing the delivery for my areas that day and would be by the end of last week heard nothing! this morning receive an email stating we chased your delivery and it shold be with you possibley Wednesday or Thursday the following! week now making it nearly 3 weeks and im also then away on holiday! I called and explained i had builders in waiting to compleate this week and i was not in the county following. Experienced complete disregard for the inconvenience not to mention extra cost now for an extra day for my builders have to return when i sorced more to replace there order. Use other reputable building suppliers they gattente delivery within week! Not 3! and you Won't just take your money then your chasing them for your goods! and communication to receive them! To then now wait for a refund from them while I pay out more expense to get my work finished and replace what they have not delivered.As building suppliers people are renovating and suppliers holding goods and missleading delivery has a cost effect on the consumer and builders carrying out the work, causing delays!

Order 2 bags of soil as we had previously used Beatsons for loads of other products and projects
But was hugely disappointed and angry at quality of my soi that was delivered .it was full of glass , weeds &stones( like the stuff I dug up and took the dump ) I take the stones were to give each bag the weight!!
I think that were my new soil came from !!

Always fast delivery and better prices

I have spent £1000's over the last two months with Beatson's and until today the service has been fantastic. Unfortunately, it only takes one bad apple, perhaps as it was Monday morning, however, the way I was spoken to was unprofessional, he spoke very quickly and I struggled to understand him, he just acted like he wanted me off the phone ASAP, then it was as if he wanted to put me off ordering saying things like "can't get to you until Thursday" and "it's a long way with just your stuff on the wagon" I never even asked about delivery etc, it was just a negative experience, and if I had had him the first time I ordered then it would have been the last.

Great price. Delivered within 2 days. Driver polite and helpful. I will definitely be using Beatsons again.

Well, when you order sand... you get sand. But, when you ask the driver to deliver that sand over a wall close to the work area and he does it with ease and grace... that is priceless. Thank you

Ordered a ton of gravel to be delivered to a fairly awkward access. The Beatsons driver did an excellent job of getting the gravel to exactly where I wanted it. Brilliant service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had been let down by another online company at the last minute after having doors ordered for over a month to be told they would not be in stock for another 2 weeks. This was extremely stressful and disappointing as I had a joiner booked to fit the doors and had to book him 2 months in advance. I looked online and came across Beatsons in Penicuik and phoned them. I spoke to Nicola in Sales and I cannot thank Nicola enough, her customer service is second to none. Nicola eased my anxiety and stress instantly, she sourced the doors I required and the doors were delivered to my home address within a few days of phoning her which was in time for the joiner coming. Nicola made the transaction simple and sent me an invoice after payment, she kept me informed at all times of when the doors were arriving right up until the day of delivery. The driver Pete was also amazing, he came to my door with a smile on his face, was very cheerful, helpful and delivered the doors to my door. I came across another hurdle with another door that I bought from another company and again Nicola dug me out of a hole and sourced the door I required, sent over all the information, installation guides as requested by me and nothing was any trouble. Would I return to Beatsons again? 100% It's a no brainer!! I have never experienced customer service quite like it. Nicola was a breath of fresh air, knowledgeable, helpful, professional and an asset to Beatsons. I am absolutely delighted with the quality of doors. I love them. Finally a merchants website that works, you can actually find what you want, compared to others (Several tried and gave up) its in a different class of its own, try it!
Availability of goods (9 items) were all available in the time scale i wanted (Others wanted weeks to get basic material such as standard paving slabs & cement)
George in sales, Cumbernauld could not be more helpful, nothing was a problem to him.
Delivery was on time and the goods placed exactly where i wanted them by friendly happy smiley drivers which makes a change!
I had one little problem that was jumped on right away and resolved instantly.
Although Beatson's were not the cheapest overall their above and beyond levels of customer friendly service makes it a no brainer for my next 3 projects planned.
Takes a lot to impress me, but kudos to the Cumbernauld team.
