Ordered a battery which was confirmed for delivery within 2-4 days. Received an order ack etc and expected my order to arrive within the specified date. Subsequently received a further email that I had been refunded (minus the postage) as I had returned it, although I had never actually received anything. Called them only to be told that they could not explain what had happened and they would refund the postage also. I had my car booked into a garage for fitting but they were unwilling to send out again on a next day delivery service to enable me to fulfill the appointment at the garage. Had to purchase from a car parts shop which cost me £20 more. Do not use if you want to get your car back on the road as they operate an unreliable service and are not prepared to rectify their errors.

Buy top of the range boch car battery group in nov 2021, with a 5year warruntee. The battery is failing me now an discharging overnight 3yrs 6 month from purchase date. I have to charge on a morning to start the car. I rang their warrantee customer service who asked for e.mail copy of my reciept. Which i gave . The customer service person Sandra was reading of a hym sheet. An stone walling me. Not willing to help me. Their protocol is designed to do this. So they leave me no option but to buy a replacement battey from another company. There is no real after care or warruntee. From this company. Do not buy from them if you want any warruntee to stand.

The price and the delivery date are very good and the accompanying paperwork should be an example to other traders

battery group fantastic quick service however the batteries were left on their sides rather than upright, perhaps something on the wrapping to tell the courier which side up may be in order?

Damaged solar panels received. Return policy/process and customer support is criminal and guaranteed to put you in a very bad mood. Do not buy anything from these people.

battery was meant to be compatible but it did not fit the car, returning process takes ages still waiting for a reply. very bad experience

A total scam company, wish I'd read the other reviews. They didn't send my ebay car battery order, ignored my pleading messages as I was without a working car, finally "sent" a refund which of course didn't actually arrive. Had to get PayPal involved for a refund (this company ignored PayPal too, took weeks for PayPal auto refund). Couldn't use my car for weeks thanks to these scammers. They point blank don't reply to messages and they don't issue refunds.

There is a reason batterygroup have the cheapest prices: no integrity and no service. I was fooled by the 4-yr warranty. The battery I got worked at first but always seemed to be running down for no reason. I blamed everything else - maybe a drain, the alternator, not using the car often enough during the winter, etc. After being stuck with a flat battery for the third time, the breakdown mechanic told me the battery was faulty and I needed to replace it.
This was 2 yrs into the warranty period. I messaged them through e-bay, no reply. I tried phoning, could never get an answer. Forced to buy a new battery elsewhere.
NB> All these 5* reviews are based on delivery, not on how it worked out in the end!

Pathetic. Package arrived with leaking bottles so I received less than half of what I paid for. I was in hospital with a bleed on the brain when they arrived. When my wife told me, I immediately contacted them but they said it was too late to claim. I informed them why it took so long, nothing so far.

What started out as great experience and excellent prices has been severely tarnished by slow poor quality customer support following a faulty item. I am still waiting for a resolution weeks and weeks after protracted correspondence. Very disappointing not putting the customer first.

Highly recommended, very helpful customer support, quick delivery and original products with competitive price.

Reading the reviews, most of bad reviews about misuse and wrong order! I have nothing to defend the company but batteries consider as sensitive part , if you don’t know how to order or fit, let your garage do it on a correct way my previous battery last more than 4 years and I ordered again and I am confident it will last at least the same …

Fast delivery, very helpful info, good quality battery

Ordered a battery online put in my reg number picked a battery from there list battery arrived to big for my battery tray,so advertising a battery that doesn’t fit the car.customer service is dire don’t answer emails don’t answer the phone 😡do yourself a favour go elsewhere

If you want to buy a battery from this outfit please understand if you need to use the warranty on that purchase then you are in trouble. Nothing but pure dramas getting it collected at a cost then even if you get it back to them apparently a flat and faulty battery is not a warranty as battery’s go flat? Crooks beware buy from a local suppler that will help you DONT USE THEM!!

No common sense on how to to deal with customers. I ordered a battery from their website by putting in my reg, it suggested a battery, I ordered it, only to find it is not suitable for my car. Unfortunately I was out of the return window. I needed two more batteries to order so asked for a credit note, which they refused. So they've lost 2 new bigger orders from lack of common sense!
