Fantastic price for an excellent quality battery, good selection, delivered quickly and well packaged. FedEx did not deliver on the day they said they would, but that's not BGs fault. It was delivered 1 day late, but not a serious problem. Would definitely buy from BG again. Highly recommended.

Do not touch with a barge pole. Battery lasted 13 months but not covered under warranty. Total refusal to discuss and completely ignore all communication. Please everyone don’t let them take your money. There is a reason they are cheap

Avoid these people. Ordered a battery & paid for next day delivery for a delivery on Friday. Waited & waited and it never turned up. Then got a notification it would come on Monday. Then found out they have overcharged the delivery by £10. They have eventually refunded this. Came to fit the battery to find it didn’t fit even though I used my reg number to choose it. This just ended my experience with them. Customer service is a joke.

Do not be tempted to buy cheaper batteries from this company as I did. I purchased a large battery costing £126 where if I had gone local, the cost would have been £190. I got this battery 3 months ago it started to drain down even after a long run. Charged it up with a charger off the car, and it would only go halfway. A week later, it would not start my car and would not take any charge. Contacted the battery group, who asked a further £20 to send it back to them. Waited a week without my car for them to come back to me stating the warranty is void as I didn't charge the battery up sufficient. Had to but another battery, so I have wasted my £146 on this company. Stay well clear they are clearly using fault batteries.

Never use these people. I paid £7.99 for urgent delivery by 18/3 they failed to deliver so I had to buy a battery elsewhere. They say they will refund the item when they get it back but not the £7.99 for the urgent postage cost I paid for which they failed to honour. Very unresponsive very very very bad seller - avoid.

Alice is great and must be promoted. Her customer service skills are second to none.
Other than that, the battery i bought was a saving of £160 from the one from the shop. What a bargain!

Purchased a Bosch battery through eBay around 9 months ago the battery itself has a 5 year warranty and a deciding factor when I bought it.after a recent service on my car the dealership advised that the battery was defective and should be replaced immediately so I contacted the battery group what a waste of time first of all I was asked to test the battery or return it to them for testing but this would cost me £20 how do I return a battery that is integral to my car and in order to use my car I need a battery in my opinion they do anything to avoid standing by the warranty so effectively the warranty is not worth it. Next time I need a battery I will buy one from a local supplier and someone I can trust to sort it out if I do have any issues I might pay a bit more but it would be worth it beware of this business and definitely think about ordering elsewhere the price you pay is not everything

Swift delivery, correct goods received at a good price!

Bought a Bosch battery less than 3 months car wouldn’t start. Breakdowns came out flat battery as expected tested battery bad battery. Battery charged up and flat again next day, power leads used to start to get to garage where battery was fully tested on and off car. Result battery not holding charge.
Sent it back under warranty with report from garage they claim it’s in perfect health. Refuse to retest to see if charge has held after initial test because the battery health says 97% which is “great”. Took 3 weeks after receiving back to test but then after me asking to retest it was all packed up and sent back to me. Left with bloody expensive doorstop.
New battery on car now for a couple of months running car as previously and not gone dead or car told me battery low once even after doing several very short journeys.

I mistakenly called their trade division which happens to be literally across the road and the sales guy was dismissive and quite offhand. I then attempted to call the retail side to check availability a couple of times but after waiting ten minutes and five minutes I gave up.
As both establishments are less than 20 minutes away I drove down. I was stood at the counter for a long time before one of the three staff came over to see if they could help. One was answering the phone it seemed. One was hidden behind a screen but the other one was busy operating his mobile (not on a call). They couldn't help unfortunately, despite this battery being utilised in golf trolleys and wheelchairs.
Pretty lack lustre performance really but hopefully someone will read this, think twice and decide their path from there.
I always try to support local businesses but I won’t be going back. That's for certain.

Exactly the same experience as some others, we ordered two batteries and just one showed up. Their customer service made us fill out so many forms, we literally have CCTV of the courier coming into our depot with just one battery box. Judging by the fact this has happened to others, something tells me they might do it on purpose.
