Please do not be concerned

Please do not be concerned, as we initially were, if your experience with the Bath panel Store Limited does not get off to a great start.

Let me explain...we ordered a couple of Bath panels that arrived without the LED Lights.

It was difficult to make contact with the Company but after committing our frustration to paper we received an instant response and the LED Lighting arrived the next day.

What we know now that we did not know when we placed our order is that this is only a small manufacturing company that works in a very loud workshop so it is difficult for them to juggle manufacturing and customer services.

Having worked in both retail and hospitality management for more years than I care to remember, customer service is also about complaint handling and this is where our experience went from negative to positive.

I therefore felt compelled to write a review on the basis that we do like to treat people with kindness...thinks do not always go right and we may not be aware of the struggles that businesses face. Things are not always what they seem.

So if at first you don't succeed in making contact pleae try again - we are delighted with our Bath Panels ...now with LED Lighting!

Nice quality bath panel

We really like our bath panel. It is gloss but not so much to look cheap. It seems like good quality so far. Obviously not yet tested over time. Delivery as stated that it would be. Bespoke and it fits well.

Poor Quality Product and Rubbish Customer Care

Whist the Bath Panel we purchased was of good quality, the toilet seat lasted just a few months before it started to fall apart, numerous emails have been ignored and I have received no feedback from this Company at all, very poor Customer Care.
I won't recommend using their services to anyone!!!

Don't buy from this company

We search high and low for bath panels without a plinth and found this company online. We have just unpacked them and one is warped and it turns out to be painted MDF which we could have bought from anywhere so have wasted £297.45. We should have read the reviews so its partly my fault but the prices charged for something I could have bought from B & Q and painted myself is shocking especially when I expected a quality wooden product. DO NOT BUY. You will be disappointed and as angry as we are

Bespoke product - bespoke service

Ordered a bespoke bath panel with fixing kit. Arrived within the estimated timeframe and fitted perfectly, no damage or issues. I didn't need the fitting kit so that was returned without hassle.

I had no issue with the company or courier.

Appalling, avoid at all costs

Ordered a panel which arrived late thanks to DX. Unfortunately the courier didn’t wait while we checked it (they never do now) but we checked it and it was damaged on one corner. I emailed the company within 15 minutes of delivery and got an automated response saying that they’d review it. I’ve received no response from the company despite more emails, online messaging and trying to phone them. They never answer the phone, all their operators and constantly busy (I don’t think they have any!).
PLEASE - whatever you do DON’T buy from bathpanelstore because if you have any problems they really don’t care.

Satisfied Customer

I’m not sure how this store has had so many negative reviews.

I have searched and searched for a corner bath panel in coffee but as my bath is quite old no-one appears to make them anymore.

I had no problems. Ordered a custom made panel online, had a confirmation email of the order. The next day, had another email to let me know it had entered the “manufacturing” stage, and another a few days later to let me know of the date and time of delivery by DX. It arrived 2 days after the given date but I was emailed to say the exact date it would arrive. It arrived extremely well-packaged and without problems.

I did insist the delivery driver waited while I opened and checked the contents as SO MANY negative reviews and the email from the company advised this. It is in situ and looks great. Time will tell how it will 'weather' but I am really pleased with it so far, So don't be put off by all the negatives, I very nearly was but am glad I decided to risk it.

Don't use

Don't use. Bought a bath panel which was delivered without the plinth I ordered and was beaten up (three of four corners dented). I complained and was sent a standard form email saying that I should have inspected the goods on delivery. So I guess I should have kept the DX delivery driver on the doorstep for twenty minutes while I checked that my £120 order of MDF was intact. Remember this is just MDF. Go to B&Q, buy a sheet for £12, paint it and save yourself having to deal with this shower.

Poor bath panel finish

ordered the fixing kit with the bath panels and it didn’t arrive with the order however this was sent quickly when reported so thank you for that. However the quality of the panels is poor it would appear on making these panels that dirt or similar had got between the finish and caused slightly bumps which shouldn’t have passed quality control so would not be recommending this company

Panels were bowed on delivery and still…

Update, are they serious! My complaint was in January 2021. Its only taken 5 years for a reply!

Panels were bowed on delivery and still are despite heavy weights for a week. Dreadful company, no response to emails or telephone. MDF product is waste of money. Plastic coating on 1 side, it’s never going to straighten.

Let down by communication

Purchased bespoke panels. Easy online experience. Good quality, dimensions accurate and delivered within promised time.
Unfortunately, the experience is let down by poor communication. It is impossible to get through to anyone by phone. The only way to communicate is by email which is difficult if you want to confirm any aspect or check on delivery etc. I had to deduct 2 stars for this as sometimes you just want to talk to someone.

Don't Panic! My Bath Panel Was Perfect.

I read all the reviews after placing my order and panicked!! When I tried to ask for a different delivery date no one answered the phone or called me back, but an automatic email said the bath panel would be delivered on the original date. Anyway it arrived the following day and was absolutely perfect. I followed the instructions to the letter and it also fitted perfectly so if like me the other reviews give you a fright. I'd say give them a chance as my bath panel was spot on. Just taking off a star as they didn't answer the phone.

Very Poor customer service

Very Poor customer service, emails are just ignored. Ordered the fixing kit and sealing strip, which have never arrived. Cant get hold of anyone and no response to emails. BEWARE NO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!.

STAY AWAY and do yourselves a favour!

we ordered a custom size panel, we received the wrong style, after telling them they just stopped communicating. Can not get it changed. Will not communicate at all, phone is always on answer machine with a message to use eMail or chat (no facility to leave a message), Chat line says it is currently unavailable (every time) and emails are ignored.
Also as a custom made size, IF we had wanted this style. it was not finished off on all 4 sides, just cut down and painted on one edge.
The company is a disgrace: STAY AWAY, honestly you will be doing yourself a favour!

Buyer beware!!

I recently made the mistake of ordering “Commercial grade” High gloss white bath panels from this company. The website claimed that they were made from Medite Tricoya Extreme MDF which is external grade and guaranteed for 50 years by Medite. My fitter had to trim the ends of both panels!, this revealed that in his opinion the MDF used was incorrect. I sent Medite both an image and sample of the material trimmed from the bath panels. They confirmed that the material was Medite MR MDF which does not share the incredible water resistant properties of their Tricoya Extreme product. They also explained how to identify the two materials apart and said that it would be difficult to confuse the two. Basically, the “Commercial grade” for which I paid a premium was no different to Bathpanelstores standard panels. I shared this information with Bathpanelstore who were disinterested,saying that a mistake wasn’t possible and the factory were sure that I had received the correct panels. The panel floor seals that I ordered and paid for were not received. I had requested LED lighting which according to the website featured 45mm diameter lamps which ideally should be wired into the bathroom lighting circuit. The LED lamps received were 15mm diameter and had a cheap plug in type power supply which would be difficult to incorporate into a lighting circuit. I have quoted “Sale of goods act” , “Trade Descriptions” and asked for a refund on numerous occasions, all to no avail. Unfortunately this is going to end up with persuing a refund and action through formal channels.
I should add that my panels were and remain bowed. After speaking with the MDF manufacturer, I now no that if you take a board and make one face impervious to moisture(vinyl film) and leave the other face bare, bowing/warping is extremely likely. Where possible I like to buy British, here however my advice is to avoid this company and look elsewhere.

Very poor customer service. Ordered a bath panel with fixing kit which cost £12 on top of the price of the panel. The panel arrived as promised but without the fixing kit. Since then I have tried for a week to contact them by email, phone and live chat to get the fixing kit sent and have had no response. This review is for BathPanelStore, which I believe is one of this company's websites.
I am normally pretty good at reading other people's reviews before placing any online orders. I'm not sure how I missed this one. Sadly, my experience is very similar to others. I placed an order online and only part of it was delivered. I have tried calling, but it just goes straight to an answer phone - every time (as with other reviews), the online chat is always inactive despite it being during the 'open' hours. I have emailed the support, replied to my order email and tried the online tool, but, apart from the automated response, I have heard nothing back leaving me having paid for a product that I didn't receive. The parts that did arrive were bowed, again similar to other people's experience and the 'trick' they suggest to straighten it had no effect. I have managed to put in enough fixing points so that it looks OK, but as I paid extra for the 'commercial' grade, I'm very disappointed. I did put a coat of sanding sealer on the back before fitting after one reviewer had commented that the panels were swelling due to steam in the room. Good customer service is pretty easy really - send out what is ordered and respond to emails/issues. Almost all of my reviews (for a number of other companies) are positive, so it's unusual to have to write such a negative one. I would be very wary of ordering with this company and I will now need to take legal proceedings in order to get a refund. I'm not sure how a company like this is still able to keep going these days! Update 12/07/2020 - just a quick update to say that this company have still not responded to my emails or my review. My credit card company did give me a refund for the missing parts. I can only hope that they managed to get the money back from this site. I currently can't think of a worse company (online or high-street) that I have ever dealt with. My recommendation is to avoid this company at all costs!!

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review, and I’m genuinely sorry to hear how disappointing your experience has been. Missing items, bowed panels and a lack of communication are all completely unacceptable, and I understand why this has left you feeling frustrated and let down.
You should always receive the full order you’ve paid for, and you should never have to chase repeatedly for a response — especially when you’re reporting issues that need resolving. I’m also sorry that the “commercial grade” upgrade didn’t meet your expectations and that the advice you received didn’t help with the bowing. That’s not the standard we aim to deliver.
Your feedback about communication is particularly important. Calls going to voicemail, inactive live chat and unanswered emails are not the experience we want customers to have, and I apologise that your messages weren’t picked up and handled properly.
Although I’m glad your credit card provider was able to refund the missing parts, you shouldn’t have been put in a position where you needed to take that route. We would still like the opportunity to review your order and address the issues you’ve raised. I recently purchase a aquacloak panel

I recently purchase a aquacloak curve bath panel. For something costing upto 300 pounds the quality is poor and the panel is build on the cheap, with woven sack material holding bare MDF planks (which absorb water !) that had three coated plastic faces together. I should have read the review first as they are spot on about the customer comunication (or lack of with only emails being responded to) and the poor quality cheap made products. Thats why the picture and the information about the product is quite limited on the website. They also have a website for Aquacloak as well. This is the same rubbish. After attempting to make the best of the cheap crap delivered my wife and I came to the conclusion that the best place for it was the tip. Thats a waste of 300 pounds and 2 days of my life.

The construction concerns you’ve raised — including the internal materials and the finish — are important, and we take feedback like this seriously. A panel should arrive feeling solid, well‑made and suitable for a bathroom environment, and I’m sorry that this wasn’t your experience.
