Never received my order which I paid for in February.... looks like a lot of other people have had the same problem.... I'm going to see if I can get my credit card company to refund me my £50

Sadly the same experience as the previous reviews. Ordered in May and have now had the reply email bounced back. Liked the ethos of the company and checked reviews at the time which were pretty positive - just putting down to experience.😔

I ordered a toothbrush months and months ago and was expecting the delivery to be in June & now the website is down! How do I get my money back?!
What a shame, what a sham.
We received the toothbrush and it seemed to work OK. But soon wouldn't charge, have been trying to get in contact for a refund but the complaints and refunds section of the Bambooi website would never work and now it looks to have totally disappeared.

I paid for a toothbrush back in February. It hasn't arrived and I just got automatic responses saying it would be delivered soon. Now the website no longer exists.

Six months since my order and I’ve given up.
I read somewhere that the person who started the Bambooi company was very young; I can only imagine they were overwhelmed by the success of their campaign and just went under. That’s what I kind of hope, rather than the possibility that I’ve been scammed.
It took me a long time to decide to spend my money with Bambooi; I wish I’d gone with Suri while they had a decent discount. Now I can’t afford it - especially without getting a refund from this company. Apparently they were issuing refunds at some point; I’ve just emailed asking for one but got an auto response saying the email address is no longer in use.
What a shame.
Order never received!
Never received my order, like others I received the generic response to my enquiries, and then emails bounced back. Highly disappointmented, seemed like a very genuine company, how wrong I was!
SCAM! Contact Consumer Advice!
Total scam! Ordered in March for the June preorder and never received my goods. Contacted them in July and August and got a generic email saying preorders would be delivered soon. Emailed again in September and it was bounced back so checked their website and it was gone. I’ve contacted Consumer Advice and they’ve started a claim for me as well as informing Trading Standards to start an investigation. I suggest others do the same as there’s strength in numbers. Can’t let them get away with this!

Regretful buyer
I ordered the bamboii electric toothbrush, a set of regular bamboo toothbrushes in the same order then a 2nd order for the travel case. After 6 months I recieved the electric toothbrush. It's just ok. It doesn't feel as powerful as other toothbrushes ive had.
Months later instead of the bamboo toothbrushes i received more toothbrush heads. I guess that's good since the company has now vanished.
I never recieved the travel case so I'm out that money.
I will say unlike other reviews my toothbrush does hold a charge for a long time. I have waiting weeks to charge it.

Ordered a toothbrush last Oct. I was one of the “lucky “ ones who received it.
It did not clean my teeth well and the brush had to be charged everyday rather than once every eight weeks!! I emailed and messaged but got no response. I asked for a refund but was ignored

Wish to give 0 star if I can. I expected the toothbrush is good quality and good for environment. After pre-order it took 4-5 months I actually received two sets and spare brush heads. Within few weeks, one of them has stopped being charged. And I had to charge it for all the time. I thought it would last 8 weeks. Now even being charged for all the time it does not work at all. I sent a message via email, it bounced back…then I read those trustpilot reviews and am shocked. I learned something, I will never purchase anything not from the trusted maker. There is a reason why those makers have been doing their business for a long time!
I also added the spear brush heads are also not great quality. Within a week, it always becomes very loose and it fell off from the toothbrush… I was thinking this is because the brush head is not plastic therefore it is good for environment. But wait, I needed to replace the brush head more frequently, and obviously they do not recycle. It does not show they are good for environment at all.
I cannot believe there are so many people who have left by the scam company, I would like to do something if people would do against it.
Don't Go Near This
Some of us really can't afford to be £80 down, by supporting, what looks like a great initiative. I ordered in March, paid the balance in June... and waited... and waited... After checking in last month, I was sent a generic message informing me that they are very busy and the order will be dispatched soon. When I attempted to contact them today, my email bounced back and the support site has disappeared.

Total scam. Avoid at all costs. They will take your money, then ignore you. It's shows how bad things are that these people are still allowed to trade.

I wish it was possible to leave a 0 star review. What a total scam. I preordered two toothbrushes in February. I knew I'd have to wait but that was okay with me. In June I received an email telling me it was time to complete my order. I tried but the website said it didn't ship to my location - it recognised my location when I arrived at the website and was happy to take my deposit. I contacted the company via email, Facebook and eventually emailed the owner. I'm still waiting for a response. After seeing some of the other reviews, I guess I'm lucky I wasn't able to complete my order. This experience has totally put me off crowdfunding or preordering in the future.

I paid £55 for a toothbrush and heads in March ‘22 as a preorder for June. Sent a number of emails over the summer when it hadn’t turned up. I received no answer. The company now seems to have disappeared. My bank have refunded me temporarily but have messaged today to say that they’ve contacted the seller who has responded to say that the charge was correct. How can it be correct if the item bought was not sent. Do they have to prove to the bank I was charged for an item that was sent or can they just claim it was correct whether or not my item was received. Anyway please avoid this business.
Upheld! ASA ruled he misled customers
So after 7 months, threats of legal action, harassing phone calls to my work and online abuse from the owner I can now finally say without a doubt or fear of recrimination that Bambooi Beauty and Care lied about their product. My complaint to the ASA made in March was upheld and published today. Mr Bryden failed to provide any evidence to back up his greenwashing claims and misled everyone about this product. This product is plastic, is not eco friendly, and most definitely not sustainable.
If you are planning pursing through Small Claims Court, reporting to Trading Standards or Action Fraud you may want to mention this. He is currently on an Entrepreneur forum on Facebook claiming to be a millionaire and looking to start another online business.
