Ordered a pair of trousers. It took almost a month to arrive. They were too small even though my dimensions were well under the size chart. I have contacted them twice to return them for a larger size but have heard nothing.
Awful service, would not recommend them.

I ordered and received,a bit late, a sport watch and frankly I probably could have built a better one myself. Soooo disappointing and annoying that I have this $60.00 watch (which in the scheme of basic sport watches I thought was a reasonable price.) that is seemingly impossible to program, quality it subpar and no tech support to be found and this “bleeping” company has my money.

I ordered the product expecting it to arrive within 5 days, but it took a full 14 days to arrive. The delay was frustrating, and when I finally received it, the product was completely disappointing. It did not meet my expectations at all and was not as described. To make matters worse, the return policy states that returns are not accepted after 14 days of purchase, which leaves no room for recourse after such a long wait. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the product and the service

I ordered an item for my husband at Christmas. I have still not received it.

The tracking number says it’s been delivered.

I have emailed several times and told to contact yodel. Yodel have told me to contact backpacker life and ask them to contact Yodel through the client portal. Still nothing and I cannot get an answer out of them in February

The worst customer service ever.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. It’s a scam website - AVOID! The item I ordered was never received, although I got an email stating it had been processed and shipped, I never got a tracking number. When contacting them, generic replies. I have my bank dealing with it now.

I would have given 0 Star if I could. I bought a Survival kit - Emergency - Bushcraft. As soon as we opened the plastic box containing the survival kit, the tabs broke off and it became useless. I sent four separate messages to Backpacker-life.com. They never responded. It makes their so-called "30 days returns policy" seem meaningless....in old school parlance, "not worth the paper it's written on". And as for saying the kit came with a two-year guarantee.....excuse me while I laugh like a drain. Another completely meaningless example of word soup. I'm left with a strong feeling I've been scammed. I've bought hundreds of products online, from the first day you could buy products online, and for me, this is the very worst experience I've ever had of buying online. I should have read other reviews before buying. Their behaviour towards me, a customer, is just appalling.

An awful company. I purchased a mat for a present, which I wished to return as it was not what the recipient wanted. Despite replying to my first email enquiring on a return (offering 50 percent off to keep the product) my subsequent emails asking for a full return and then (when a 50 percent loss was better than nothing) acceptance of their original deal was ignored. Do not buy from them. I deeply regret purchasing from them. Update: received an email saying a refund has been made. Will check and see if it actually has and how much!

If there could be a negative star I would use it! Completely scammed, bought the survival kit on the 23/11/2024 and it still hasn’t arrived, no response to emails and no tracking info supplied at purchase as advertised on website. Please don’t buy from this company. It is the first time I have bought without reading reviews and researching the company and I’ve been bitten! Will have to dispute the transaction with my bank now as left with no options. Likely I won’t see my money again and I’ve had to scramble to find another Christmas gift for my Son today.

Sent wrong sizes and after 6 emails no reply, unable to contact them. 🤬

Late delivery, poor quality. Obviously just a drop shopping front to some suppliers in China. Poor comms from them. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered two pairs of shorts. Well in time for a trip to SA. Travelled to SA without the shorts I had ordered and paid for. No information as to the delay.
Despite delivery arising after weeks, on my return I find the larger size I ordered is too small.
Any attempts to contact Backpackers life, the reply email address is rejected and getting my money back seems most unlikely. This company is one to avoid if buying on line, the after sales service is non existent.

I ordered a sleeping bag for Christmas on 5th December. On the 19th it has still not arrived. No explanation from the company. tracking now says it could be 25th January before it arrives. No response to email requesting information. Clearly a firm to be avoided.

They sent the wrong product and when requested correct product I was sent a list of things to photograph as proof. I did what they asked and nothing. No reply after that. It has been well over a month and they have not attempted to send the correct product.
Wasted $160 AUD.

Stupidly should have read the reviews first! STAY AWAY. Taken payment, no dispatch or tracking email. Bank is currently involved to make a claim to get my money back. FAKE WEBSITE, NO COMMUNICATION, NO ITEM!!

I ordered the tactical survival kit as seen on google, however the first kit was incomplete. I then emailed the company explaining this and they were very helpful and apologetic and sent a second set out but unfortunately as well sealed and packaged the second unit was, it also lacked the same two items and now my emails are not being responded to which is a shame as the product despite the missing parts is really good.

After many failed attempts and bounce backs from the email provided I was given a tracking order number for yodel that said it was delivered - Yodel gave a photo but it was not my house as nothing was delivered, missing parcel - I signed all relevant paperwork and asked for a refund but nothing back

was done but had no receipt or order reference number so was unable to track, so far Items not turned up - have emailed them to then get a bounce back saying email does not exist. Another scam.

No replies to emails after order was made. The website lies about where the goods are shipped from. They are shipped from China. After reading reviews I can see this is true. The quality is horrible and what you would expect from temu. Beware and stay away.
