Car was new and clean. Was very happy with the model. This was also the cheapest option on the net at the time.

Hiring a car from them was OK. They didn’t charge us on a little damage on an indicator which someone damaged when we parked car in car park and came back after a few hours. The car was quite new and everything was working great. I can recommend this company.

Il contratto era al nome di Optimorent ed è stato difficile trovare l'agenzia all'aeroporto. Poi, solo une personna davanti a me, pero è stato molto lungo.

We booked our car through booking.com we paid for full insurance aswell.

When we went to pick up the car, they said that the insurance we bought was no good, because we didn’t have a Mastercard. So we had to pay for the exact same insurance again which was 150 euros more expensive than the one we already paid for.

We simply weren’t able to Get the car if we didnt pay for the insurance at the rental place, even though we already had it.

Seems like a scam just to get more Money from the customer.

Auto via had not returned my deposit from 20 May , it is now 8 July

Pick up was in and out in less than 10mins. It was a great experience. Drop off was the same very easy to do. Finding where the rental car desks are was a little tricky but there is signs. It was a great experience. We rented a fiat 500x it only had 1300kms on it, basically a new car!

AUTOVIA and Argus Car Hire website by Car Trawler is a FRAUD . Stay away .
I booked a premium vehicle - a Jaguar F Pace or similar on their website by a car provider AUTOVIA at Venice Airport.
The full payment was charged to my credit card in March for a May end booking. When I arrived at the counter , I was told I would get an Audi Q3 , which according to Autovia was an equivalent car ! Really ?
THIS AUTOVIA DESK SUPERVISOR SAMUEL WHISPERS TO HIS LADY ASSOCIATE WHICH IN MY BROKEN ITALIAN MEANT - GIVE THEM XYZ THEY ARE ASIANS.
The Autovia agent - Samuel at the desk was racist and clearly not in a mood to give the right car to us as we are Asians. He tried to preach to me that in Italy a Jaguar F Pace is equal to an Audi Q3 ! I WAS BILLED IN FULL MORE THAN ONE MONTH BEFORE D DAY.
The Argus Car hire on the other hand is just making money by allowing providers to register on their site - use pricing tools to get bookings - and not provide the actual vehicle on arrival. Autovia even told us we should not have booked through Argus !
I AM PURSUING THIS CASE WITH THE ITALIAN CONSUMER FORUM WEBISTE, and the Italian govt Consumer redressal association.
OUR HOLIDAY WAS RUINED as the car category we booked is not what we got. No resolutions . DO NOT USE AUTOVIA . I AM A REGULAR SIXT USER , AND MADE THE MISTAKE OF CHOOSING AUTOVIA DUE TO THE PRICE OF A JAGUAR F PACE being listed LOWER than the price of a BMW X5 on the SIXT site. Clearly I was duped.
Stay with SIXT .

3 weeks later i still don’t have my £500 deposit back , but credit to them after seeing a bad review, they did sort it out very quickly, still don’t understand why it takes so long for a refund though .

Quick, helpfull and No-noncense company

We booked an Audi A3 via Expedia for a week in the Dolomites - pick up was easy (once you realise that the Autovia Desk is on the 3rd Floor of the multistorey car park and not in the terminal).
We were upgraded to a Kia Sportage on the day - with no hassle about insurance upgrades. There were a few more scratches on the car than the paperwork suggested - but emailing the additional damage on the day of collection was easy.
Drop off was just as simple - really good service, would recommend.

Vi siete inventato che con la mia carta VISA non posso lasciare una cauzione di 500 euro e mi avete costretto a stipulare un'assicurazione per la modica cifra di ulteriori 170 euro + una cauzione di 250 euro.
Al mio ritorno in Francia, il mio banchiere mi ha confirmato che sono stato derubato e che la mia carta VISA può lasciare il deposito di 500 euro

Easy pick-up, easy drop-off. Easy peasy! Just a bit bigger car than what I thought we were going to get (no upcharge though) and it all worked out just fine.

Easy to find the desk at the airport - had a choice of cars - car we had was virtually brand new and perfect for what we needed and at an excellent price

Vriendelijk personeel. Punt van verbetering kan zijn dat bij reservering via de site, alle gegevens doorgeeft maar dat bij afhalen alles opnieuw gedaan wordt en je daardoor ca. 20 minuten bezig bent voor je de sleutel krijgt. Hierdoor kan het lang duren als er een rij staat. Bij andere maatschappijen ligt vaak alles al klaar zodat je na controlle rijbewijs/paspoort etc. de sleutels krijgt. Inname verliep lekker vlot.

Car rented on 22/04 at Venice airport drop off at Napoli airport 27/04/23, received Audi A3 Automatic station wagon diesel model, quite happy for the car collection at Venice airport fast & efficient, even drop off at NAPOLI airport also very easy & fast, the one way surcharge also very reasonable if compare with other europe country that i rented before like switzerland & spain.
