Austin Adventures guides gave exceptional attention to all details which enabled all group members optimal enjoyment of each day's excursions and smooth transition in moving from point tp point.

This was one of the most pleasurable vacation experiences of my life. My wife and I went on a hiking trip to Bryce & Zion Canyons with guides Katie and Emily from Austin Adventures. They had this infectious blend of professionalism, knowledge, energy and “joy for life” that made the trip as enjoyable as possible. More than anything else, they enjoyed their job and it showed, every day and in every way.

My wife and I over achieved in the things that we did on the vacation.This happened because of our guides, Katie and Emily.

Looking forward to more trips with AA.

My wife and I enjoyed the trip but would not recommend it because of the apathy of the lead guide. A good guide can make or break a trip and our's simply didn't care. He said he normally worked diving trips but picked up the extra tour because he needed the money for back surgery. Examples of his "service". On one hike he "abandoned" his clients and spent over an hour taking photos of hawks, telling us to simply follow the trail up the mountain. On another nature hike he simply "disappeared", leaving a large group with the nature specialist. When we returned to the pick-up spot we found him working on his tan.

Idyllic trip. Beautiful country, top notch accommodations and restaurants. Incredible service from tour guide. Loved it!

This company has top notch employees who are very involved in the details of making your vacation special.. There is no hard sell here. They listen attentively to your wants and needs and come up with appropriate suggestions. They guide you through the process of making your precious vacation time better than you thought possible. The guides on our trip were superb and their enthusiasm,and knowledge of the the area we visited added greatly to our experience. Truly a 5 star experience.

I have been on 4 Austin Adventure vacations. All the trips were well planned with great activities. The guides are awesome, they pull off many surprises for the guests. I highly recommend. I tell friends to stop going to Disneyland, Austin Adventure trips are so much better..

Worst logistics ever on a trip

Austin Adventures helps creates great and memorable adventure experiences. My daughter and I have gone on two of their trips and would recommend them to anyone that's looking to create an experience of a life time.

Activities = excellent

Best trip we ever took and it is not even close.

We have been on 5 adventure trips with Austin Adventures and all have been fantastic. When our son was younger we did family trips to Yellowstone, Alaska, Glacier National Park, and Costa Rica. Later we ventured to Belize, and this year we a planning to see Southern Utah's Parks. AA does a great job on family trips mixing activities for kids and adults. There will always be surprises along the way -- how about fruit kay-bobs while kayaking in the waters off Fox Island in Alaska. Totally unexpected and delightful. The guides are very knowledgeable and accommodating if you should have some special need or request, This travel company is the best. Thank you AA for all the wonderful times.

No better company to use if you are looking for an adventure tour. Physical during the day, relaxing at night, pampered along the way. Guides are friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Activities are well thought out and planning for every weather condition. Expect the unexpected when you travel with Austin Adventures, and that is in a good way.

An Austin trip is always a vacation as vacations should be...an amazing experience that is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish without any worry or stress. Each day you wonder if tomorrow can top the experiences of today.

I have done two trips with Austin Adventures and both were first class, wonderful adventures. Both times Austin went way beyond just doing a good trip but did extras to make it special.

We love traveling with Ron van Dijk. His attention to detail makes for a memorable experience. He knows just what sights to choose, the hotels are comfortable and the food is not just delicious, it is an experience.

We have used Austin Adventures for 3 different family adventure trips and just booked our 4th. Every trip we have done has been more memorable then the last. The guides catered to us and their knowledge of the area were great.

Our Havasupi and Alaska,trips were well designed. Our guides were excellent, going out of the way to accommodate our requests and having backups for bad weather in Alaska. The Lord made the scenery but the guides help you appreciate it.

Excellent guides, food, & entire trip

We've had five family trips with our grandson to U.S.National Parks and they have all been excellent!

I've done a some trips with Austin Adventures--TEN to be exact, and everyone of them has been outstanding! I'm doing my ELEVENTH trip with Austin Adventures this year, to Spain, and I already know that it will full of fun, great activities, wonderful sights, extremely knowledgeable guides, interesting and fun trip-mates, and excellent accommodations! I've been on family trips and adult trips, and the level of service and commitment to the client is always top shelf. So many cool memories!The hiking, bicycling, kayaking, horseback riding, and river rafting are all outstanding, but they are made 100 times better by the personal service of the Austin Adventure guides. Like the time we were hiking in Yosemite valley and one of the guides suddenly appears with a silver tray of fresh fruit parfaits with just-made whipped cream! We were amazed, but the faces on other hikers as they passed by was priceless! Or the time we were hiking up the side of a glacier in Alaska and our guides surprised us with home made ice cream and cones! Don't ask me how they do it, they just do! Another great thing about Austin Adventures is they take all of the anxiety and aggravation out of vacation planning. I have a job where I'm working all the time. The last thing I want to do on vacation is have to work at it. With Austin Adventures, I pick a trip, call them up to book, show up when I'm supposed to, and that's it. I don't have to worry about where to go, what to eat, how to get park passes or trail permits, or what sites to visit. Best way to vacation hands down. It's also a great way to make new friends. We still keep in touch with some of our trip mates from vacations we took 10 years ago! Can't beat it!
