I attended the branch a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience! Both Alison and Emma were very welcoming and friendly. They made me feel as ease and took their time to give me a thorough examination. Emma referred me for a further investigation and explained what could be an issue with my ear. It was such a pleasant experience I would recommend them to everyone!

Emma is such a lovely person,and to us older people she explains everything she is about to do so clearly.My partner & I really enjoy coming to see her. Also Alison, her receptionist is so warm & welcoming when we arrive.She also makes a very good cup of tea!!!

Emma the audiologist at the Exeter branch is execptional, the service that she provides is second to non. the whole experience in Exeter was first class.

Just had annual hearing review with Emma Rooms at the Cowick Street branch in Exeter. She was really excellent - the review was very thorough and prescription changes were expertly made to help with my hearing. Emma explained everything perfectly and was entirely professional with an exceptionally pleasant manner. Her service could not be faulted in any way.

Today was my annual check and I can’t praise enough Emma and staff at Audika, Cowick Str. Exeter. Emma is so helpful in explaining everything and nothing is too much trouble. I’m very pleased with my hearing aids and the very professional service. Thank you.

I recently had a hearing test performed by Emma Rooms in the Exeter branch. She was so informative, patient, professional and friendly making the whole experience very positive. Although I only have a slight deterioration of hearing she let me try some hearing aids to compare the difference, but she recommended keeping a yearly check on my hearing rather than taking up hearing aids at this moment in time. So there was no pressure to go down the hearing aid route. I’ve been impressed with this company for many years as they came on my radar when they assisted my late mother. Her life was transformed when she purchased their hearing aids and the whole customer service from start to finish was spot on. I use Audika every six months for wax removal and I can’t fault their service and professionalism. It’s always a pleasure to attend my appointments.

Staff are always friendly, welcoming and professional. My hearing aid review was explained in detail and thoroughly carried out. Little changes to the settings have made a great difference.

The premises were very comfortable, being air-conditioned during the current heat wave. The staff were polite, experienced and had recognised me from previous appointments. The test was all geared towards me and my needs. The whole process was aimed at improving my hearing ability and adapting my hearing aids to the best setting for my ears.

Emma provided a thoroughly professional service during my husband’s visit. She carefully reviewed his progress with his Opticon hearing aids and general hearing, identifying a potential ear problem we were not aware of and made a ENT referral whilst we were in the appointment. Her communication was excellent throughout, never rushed. Emma updated everything to optimise my husband’s experience with his hearing aids. Highly recommend Emma and this service in general. Oh and brilliant coffee provided while we waited!

Do not use this company. The amount they charge is insane. The hearing test was fine. I was then given some Oticon Zeal hearing aids which were very good, so I am not criticising Oticon. However, then came the Price £6400 for the pair!! I almost fell off my chair!! I asked the audiologist were they competitively priced. She said you might get them a little bit cheaper somewhere else. I then contacted the NHS hearing aid provider audiological science and was quoted £3600. That’s not a bit cheaper that’s £2800 cheaper and for what? they both offer a five-year manufacturers warranty, a 60 day trial. And 0% interest if you want to buy them with finance. I must admit I was staggered at the difference.
I have just had them fitted at home by the NHS approved supplier. And the final price was £3500. There will be so many people of an older generation than myself who will trust an audiologist and end up going with hidden hearing. Please if you have a family member who is considering a hearing aid. I cannot tell you how pleased I will be if you do not use this company. Hidden hearing you should be ashamed. You’re a Sales machine not a hearing specialist..

Genuinely excellent service and advice

My recent experience at the Exeter branch of Hidden Hearing was one of excellence from start to finish.
A very thorough examination of my increasing hearing problems was performed and the necessary adjustments made. All procedures performed were explained fully. Thank you Hidden Hearing.

A well constructed, systematic review of the (declining) state of my hearing. H/Aids checked and serviced and a supportive presentation of newer technology in hearing aids. Appointment made to take latter issue further. Overall, a good experience.

The next time you move a pre-agreed patient appointment, it would be helpful if you notified them to ask if new date/time (due to staff holiday) was convenient. Better that than inconvenience a 93 year old who turned up for a wasted appointment, not to mention a wasted 2 hour return trip for the accompanying person. Plus, this is the 2nd time!

Emma was excellent so attentive to detail and made me confident that I was making the correct decisions

I recently had an issue with one of my aids, so I contacted the Exeter branch who couldn't have been more helpful. Emma Rooms went above & beyond to fix the problem. I have always found the staff friendly & professional whichever branch i have visited.

The representative, Leon, was friendly, helpful and encouraging, I shall wear my aids more in future!
