Yesterday I had my appointment, at hidden hearing Chesterfield. I was having excess ear wax removed. Jeanette was lovely from the moment I stepped in the door. Jeanette was professional, thorough, informative and funny. Totally pain free experience, with lots of laughs. Would highly recommend .

Jan was very professional and very determined to clear the large build up wax which was making very hard of hearing. After several visits she has managed to restore my hearing and everything is rather loud now

Can't praise them highly enough. Booked a wax removal appointment, was seen within a week, first appointment resolved my hearing problem, second appointment (free of charge) after using olive oil on other ear sorted the problem completely. Both ladies were very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Well worth the money.

I have been a customer of Hidden Hearing for some time, but I was most impressed on my recent visit, which was to unblock my ears from wax.
The Ear Care Practitioner with whom I dealt, Jan French, was excellent, with a helpful and friendly manner that at once put me at my ease. She solved my problem quickly, showing patience, care and a lot of skill.

AVOID, LIARS, DECEPTION AND TAKE ADVANTAGE IF OUR ELDERLY.

My parents were convinced to buy a £3,000 hearing aid for my father who has dementia and Alzheimer’s by a Mr Niteen Patel who promised a 90 day money back guarantee as the cost was of concern given my dads illnesses and how they effect the interpretation of words, so it wasn’t just about him being hard of hearing. Both my parents are in their 80’s and my dad has advanced lung disease on top of the dementia and Alzheimer’s but if the hearing aid was simple to use as advertised and could improve my dads quality of life in his final years mum agreed to spend the little savings they had. The hearing aid was supplied without any details of the ‘deal’ money back guarantee or anything else in writing, just the words of Mr Patel, let’s face it people buy from people and my parents were old fashioned and judged people on face value and trusted first ask questions later, they took Mr Patel at his word. They’ve had various problems but they were never able to contact the salesperson directly and were therefore left to deal with the girls in the Chesterfield office. It is an incredibly fiddly item but my mum persevered with the understanding she had the 90 days as agreed at point of sale, but sadly the hearing aid did not improve my dads quality of life in fact the opposite as it left him more frustrated and due my mums severe arthritis in both her hands my mum found it to difficult and painful for her to be able to make the adjustments so they asked to return it and have their money back. However, having finally got hold of Mr Patel he advised he couldn’t come out to them until early November as he was on holiday for 2 weeks which would take them outside of the ninety days. When mum asked about this, the bombshell was dropped the 90 days was only offered to those to whom he had had to come out to multiple times within the first 60 days!!! So because my mum tried to make it work herself they are now left with no savings and a £3k useless hearing aid. Shame on you hidden hearing!!!! You have taken advantage of my elderly parents, you have told them LIES and robbed them of their savings. So an experience that had hoped to improve their lives has had the complete opposite effect. SHAME ON YOU, I will be contacting watch dog, trading standards and taking legal advise.

Very relaxed appointment in a covid safe environment,the health professional carried out various tests in a friendly manner and explained what the tests where for and what the results showed.All in all a very satisfactory experience,highly recommended.

Everything explained simple so can understand.

Generally we were quite impressed with the test. HOWEVER we were totally unimpressed with the differences between what was said and what was written e.g. told hearing aid (Oticon) came with 5 year guarantee paperwork said 2 years. Also told that the price you quote at over £4k is the same across the UK. Two minutes on Google found lots of quotes at 15 to 20+% cheaper.
Consequently withdrew our order as we couldn't trust the company
