The Audient ID14 made it so easy to set up and get up and running again after my main interface had failed.
The features for the price are astounding. Cristal clear pre-amps and Jfet input. Best back up investment I have ever made

Everything is working fine although when I use my headphones, speakers are muted. It would be very useful to use both speakers and headphones together.

The interface was great, but then it started making this weird noise. Now it's basically unusable. I bought it second hand, so I don't have a warranty or receipt.

I tried sending it to a third party repair shop, but they quoted me I'll repair cost that was more than the unit itself.

So, not so good. Seems to be a common problem with this unit from what I see on the forums...

I have an ID4 MKII and it first shorted out two my headphones and then eventually lost any tone from my instrument line. I wish I had more positive things to say. When it did work in the first weeks, the volume was so sensitive. I didn’t like the knob and how it could go from nothing to blowing out your ears.

I used just like sound card for my Mac but it works really good. And I am gonna use it with my guitar. I really wonder how's the sound. Quality and reliability is really good.

The iD4 is is great. The sound quality is crisp and the volume output is loud enough to not need to max out the volume knob. It is an excellent audio interface. I rated it a 5 star.

brilliant bit of kit

I'm honestly still very confused. Watched a bunch of tutorials and I still can't figure out how to get the console software on my macbook. I'm a pretty saavy audio engineer but stuck in the 2010 firewire era.

My wife say hi and she’s very happy with it. We considered first a iD14 (I’ve my second) but for her use the iD4 is perfect for recording vocals.

My god I'm using this for streaming n podcasting THE NOISE FLOOR IS SO LOW DUDE THERE ISN'T EVEN ANY NOISE FLOOR AND THE VOICE QUALITY IS CRYSTAL clear with my shure sm7db this is so good the converters on this audio interface is so beautiful thank you for this worth every penny

The device is excellent and am pleased with the result.
As to whether it sounds good, well hard to say, because it subtely changes what you hear, and one can only assume its better than before. Which I think it is. Certainly it introduces no adverse effects on the audio. 4 stars not 5 because I think the online info/vids 'trivialise' the procedure for measuring the room. 20 mins??!! Took me 2 hours. It shpuld be more realistic, and encourage you to do the procedure as many times as you think you need to. Procedure will vary hugely with the complexity of your set-up.

The AUDIENT iD24 is a sweet piece of gear! I have never owned an interface this nice before, and it's a huge step up for me. The sound is crisp, even just monitoring audio, and when you DO press the record button, you can be sure you're getting out of it exactly what you put Into it. It also came bundled with a large trove off software goodies. Very cool. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much!

I upgraded to an Audient iD44 from a Focusrite Scarlett. I record electric guitar through tube amps, bass guitar direct, and acoustic guitar direct and with a microphone. The Audient preamps are outstanding, and features such as hi-pass filter and the on-line mixer have improved my recordings. The Scarlett served me well for years, but the Audient has expanded my music creation capabilities.

Sounds excellent

Can't fault the Audient ID 48. Great sounding converter, 2 x speaker outputs which are switchable is a big bonus, mic pre's are superb and getting hardware FX in/out of my DAW (in this case Cubase and Logic) a doddle. I'd highly recommend this to anyone thinking about a new converter for their system.
