I made a complaint to HCPC about a physiotherapist who assessed me for ATOS. The assessment was 20 minutes, tops. He didn't examine me, yet when I had a copy of the report, there was 1 entire page of results about my "physical examination". He'd copied and pasted it from someone else's report.
HCPC replied and said this was normal practice!!!!!!

They lie through their teeth. Refused home assessment even though had letter from GP
Finally after months of battling I had home assessment, woman closed in hallway but said one my report she seen me crawl under my table pick up and my dog and carry it to kitchen.
1) door was closed
2) I told her I needed to put dog out
3) can’t see kitchen from hallway
Never did any physical assessment but said I’d passed.
Told my support they weren’t allowed to speak ( they are there to help and support us )
Scored me zero on everything despite 10 years of mental health records and GP records sent in.
Had support from Cit Advice, Doctor and MP when I took them to court and I won high award on both parts.
Took 11 months to get to court
12 months later another home assessment, said I’m capable of moving my bin 2 meters so I’m capable of leaving my home and following a journey with no support. Again no physical assessment and was only awarded lower daily even though situation hadn’t changed. Another tribunal and another win for me !

How are people supposed to try and get better ( if they can ) when the stress of these assessments and tribunals take its physical and mental toll on you ?

vile disgusting rude ignorant people. The occupational therapist twice in my assessments have lie through there teech. I had broken knee in full leg cast and broken arm in cast. Assessor put that she had me lifting both legs and arms and bending them. Impossible in cast. I got my dad to open a window as it was hot in the room the assessor claimed I opened it. She lied about what medication I was on as well. Putting down that didnt need it. These people forgot an occupational therapist can only deal with elbows wrists and hand they come under a health care assistant nothing more. I have many illnesses that she never put down. But I did manage to prove in court that she lied out her backside as I sent the recording in that my dad had done. There disgusting people. And now I am having to fight again. These have had my paperwork since December and have lost some of my paper work how convenient.

Atos Lie I had suffered a brain injury I could of died, Atos came to do my Pip assessment I was in a dressing gown, I had speech impairment balance issues, was dizzy bending, unable to read or focus on conversations, slept constantly throughout the day and had extremely awful fatigue yet was scored 0 said I was casually dressed and showed no signs of cognitive issues
I am still disabled but a lot better to fight them this time round, HORRIBLE BREACHER OF HUMAN RIGHT LAWS!

They lie, discriminate have snotty rude staff who think you're out of order when you mimic them. They're not fit for purpose. Their equipment is sub standard, just like their staff are . They contradict themselves constantly. They need to be stopped from handling DWP contracts.

After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia…
After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2015, I was awarded standard rate care PIP, however, in March 2017 when my condition began to affect my ability to function properly on a daily basis I decided to contact the DWP to let them know that the worsening of symptoms meant my circumstances had changed.
The DWP advisor who answered my call went through a number of questions and then warned me that the outcome of a reassessment could result in my award going up, down or being stopped completely, to which I answered "how would I lose my award completely? I have just told you that my symptoms have worsened significantly, and I have the same condition as when I was originally awarded in 2015, a condition which is unfortunately chronic and cannot be cured" She simply replied "I am just warning you that it could go either way!"
I dismissed what she had warned, assuming she had been mistaken? But sure enough in the June 2017 re-assessment appointment, I was awarded zero points for both the daily living and the mobility and subsequently the financial assistance I had relied on even more so was snatched away just like that.
Mandatory reconsideration upheld the assessment report twice, but a tribunal awarded me the standard rate care and mobility but I was only awarded the back payment to the assessment date in June 2017 and not the March 2017 which it would have been backdated to had the HCP not completely lied on her report.
But as it was a tribunal decision, my award had an end date for June 2020, meaning I would have to reapply, however, I reluctantly contacted the DWP in the May 2020 to report two additional diagnoses and therefore a change in my circumstances (for the worst obviously).
Now also struggling with C.O.P.D and post-traumatic stress disorder which had gone undiagnosed since 2006, on top of the debilitating symptoms caused by Fibromyalgia, I felt that surely I must be entitled to the enhanced rate of daily living at least if not the enhanced rate for both that and the mobility.
But because of the restrictions caused by coronavirus, I was told that my award was automatically being extended for another six months and they would contact me in a couple of months to advise when I needed to inform them of my change in circumstances.
Received a letter from the DWP in September 2020 stating that as my award was coming to an end on 14th December 2020 it was now time to re-apply for PIP if I still needed it.
Questioned this straight away because I was trying to report a worsening of my health with the two additional disabilities, but was this time told it was not possible in my case because it was the decision of the tribunal and not the DWP so I had to start all over again.
Sent everything back to the DWP before the deadline on 23th October 2020 and discovered in mid November 2020 that my claim required a health assessment and had been referred over to Independent Assessment services who would be contacting me to conduct a telephone assessment as F2F was still not permitted due to COVID.
Worried now that my much needed award was going to end before any assessment had been offered, not to mention the 8 plus weeks it takes to get a decision and or award, I contacted the DWP again early December 2020 because now it was less than 2 weeks until the end of my award.
After having to speak with a manager who investigated and called me back, I was assured that my claim had been fast-tracked to the top of the queue for my assessment to hopefully take place before the close for Christmas.
Of course nothing happened, and I had to chase again on 5th January 2021, received a text message advising me that an appointment for my assessment had been made for Wednesday 20th January 2021 and 13:10pm.
I was so desperate to have my appointment without any problems, my phone was fully charged, I had my mobile phone in my hand from 13:00pm so I definitely wouldn't miss the call, and finally at 13:27pm private number flashed up on my phone, just as I was about to accept the call, it cut off.
Waited 6 minutes to give them a chance to call again, then called the customer services department to tell them what the HCP had done.
I was told that my assessment was recorded as missed, because I didn't answer that call but apparently the further 2 calls within the 6 minutes I had specifically waited for another call. Lies, so angry as now my claim is at the bottom of the queue again despite their clear incompetence.
So despite the change in business name Independent Assessment services, the same disgusting liars and fraudulent so called HCP are employed.

We had ATOS work for us.
I was working for a company and ATOS was maintaining our server infrastructure. Their quality of service is abhorent. The bureaucracy is monstrous. There were terrible delays with SLAs. All tickets had to be for one thing only - any more and ATOS employees could not compute.
We need to fill same forms over and over again, because ATOS is not able to do anything without a proper form.
And the people there were like super mean. Even with 20+ days of delays with service, they were rude and playing "we did nothing wrong" game.
Safe to say, we got rid of them as soon as possible. Do not recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would straight away! This is the worst plave ever. They caused so much anxiety when I was there and AFTER I'D LEFT! No care for staff, managers rarely have a clue and no benefits from working there. DO NOT DO IT

I left my job in the nhs to work for Atos Belfast. What a silly mistake. It became apparent very quickly the people who work there would not last long in the nhs. They are obnoxious, arrogant, superior and insulting. I gave it 5 weeks. Probably too much. I resigned. Money and the bull.... pulls you in. Not forgetting the bull of the recruitment agencies . When you get there, it's completely different. If you are tempted please stop read more reports/reviews. Most of all don't do it. You will regret it!!! If you have any therapeutic skills be prepared to kill them off and be a robot and be told to your face "you allowed someone to ramble for two minutes". The lady I assessed was was elderly who had multiple conditions. I was advised that you have to cut across her, dominate her, not allow her to talk, so basically lose any form of humanity. People may think it will be different when I join but trust me, 5 of us started, 3 of us left within weeks. There are other jobs out there. If you are cold and calculated professional. If you are rude, can cut across people and be a c... you will do v well. You must not show sympathy, that was a weakness I was advised I had, which I laugh at!!! and I think generally you have to care less for people/humans. It's a form of monetatrizing humans. So step up if you are interested,you will be on the money train and a first class ticket to selling your soul and flying in the face of your profession. Ending this review I will know that I will lie straight in bed knowing that the person that they want me to be, will never exist. What a bunch of disgusting people under the guise of HCP's. Am I bitter no. Unbelievably shocked that people who refer to themselves as nurses and physiotherapists and a doctor!!! can be so outreach from their own code of conduct. Professional registration warning should go with this job!

I had sent email to Brandon regarding my insurance on December 6. I did not get reply. On December 15 I went on their website and submitted my question via contact link. No reply. My wife called on December 26 and spoke with the representative where to submit insurance information. She asked her to fax and said will get reply in 48 hours. I am not sure how they count 48 hours. As of today their 48 hours not done. Not sure what kind of medical company they are running. I use their Jaw Motion and bite pad. Unfortunately there is no alternative in US otherwise I wouldn't even use them.
