Not sure if i am the only one

The auction has been practising fraud and providing incorrect descriptions. They do not accept card payments or cash, and once the money is transferred, you cannot claim it back from the bank. If you ask the auctioneer about the discrepancies in the description of the item you received, they will not issue a refund. I've seen too many negative reviews, and I'm unsure how this is not monitored by iBidder. I've bought many items through iBidder with other auctioneers and never had any issues before.

Based on the reviews I encountered, I decided not to pursue this further, as I have lost £4,005 of my hard-earned money. The car I received was filled with mold, and the pictures provided did not show any registration plate. It was advertised as a 2021 model on a cherished plate, but it turned out to be a 2010 model.

I’m extremely disappointed not only with the inaccurate registration plate and description but also because the car was a non-runner when I received it. I have since repaired it, which cost me an additional £1,500 to replace the gearbox.

Purchased diamond earrings over a month ago, I have been chasing delivery since.

Absolute scam site they send you tracking details then doesn’t send.just generate a tracking number. So unprofessional when you manage to talk to someone. Do not use this company.

I bought two vehicles from this company recently, After winning the auction went to collect both vehicles, one had engine damage and body damage which wasn't mentioned at all in the description, so i sent an email request to take the vehicle back as i left the vehicle in their yard but, i was told they are not responsible as i didn't call them to check the vehicle condition. But, it wasn't mentioned at all in the description. Then, the second vehicle I rang them and sent lots of emails to find the yard address to collect the vehicle. They didn't disclose the vehicle registration at all for me to check roadworthiness and to insure. Then, when i tried to collect the vehicle told me staffs are on annual leave so that i can't collect for two days then, send me an invoice for storage of £100 per day and totalling £3600 storage fee where I only have to pay £300 for three days and removed the vehicle from my winning list after three days from sending me the invoice. Very doggie company, stay away and their platform is i bidder, stay away from most auctions in i bidder platform

Update. My father bought a car from Asset Auctions Ltd in Aug 2024. He paid almost £10,000. Communication with this company is impossible - they have no phone number. And they don't reply to emails. We have not received a car or our money back. They agreed 2 months ago to start paying us back in £500 monthly increments. We have only received £500 so far. They are behind and do not reply to emails again. Their accounts are overdue on Companies House so they are about to go under clearly. Their director, Nigel Priestley, has already let 2 other companies go into liquidation - this is all public info on Companies House. TOTAL SCAMMERS

I purchased an item from Fiveways Assets and paid by bank transfer immediately. Since then, it has been over three weeks and I have received no delivery, no update, and no response to any of my emails.

I have all payment confirmations and communication attempts documented, but the company has simply not replied at all.
For an auction house operating internationally, this level of communication and customer service is extremely disappointing and worrying.

I sincerely hope they resolve this situation, but so far my experience has been very negative.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with buying a car. I've paid around £7k for a vehicle that was damaged, holes all over it...inside & out. There is flashing lights on the front of the car that if fell into the wrong hands could fill it with any explosive material and drive it anywhere. I've spent approx. 20+ hours on the phone to DVLA, Land Rover, HMRC as the car was a former ministry of defence car. Its over 3 months now and the car still cannot be driven on the road legally !!!

The auction was explained to me by accounts staff very clearly so any mistakes made was buyer fault

This auction company is a scammer to vulnerable citizens of the world. They are robbers. They robbed me of my £3774, and they are refusing to pay me back. I am a single mom with an unwell child, but after I told them that I have challenges in life due to having a child who has mental health problems, they still went on to rob my hard-earned cash. I paid £3774.00 for a tractor, which I thought was going to be my pension, as I am thinking of relocating to Africa to do some farming as I take care of my unwell child, but Asset Auction ( David and Rustam) as they call themselves, refused to refund my money back as they seem not to have the tractor at all. With all due respect, this company should not be existing as they do not have hearts of PR, but they are robbers and target vulnerable people like myself because they think that we do not have a voice. This company should not operate at all. Now I am in a dilemma. I am stuck with my unwell son. I had paid for shipping, which did not happen due to the duo refusing to refund my money. I am going to the BBC to unleash their robber acts.

Scammers - we paid a lot that we won (a mini backhoe excavator), then no answers or any interaction. We pushed trough the web platform that intermediated the auction, almost zero effect. Paid more than 14000 GBP recovered just 10%, now we went to court to claim money back. Now I see their items (same pictures, same items) on their website but also on the Universal Auctions Group Ltd selling list on i-bidder.com...I personally don't believe in coincidence.

They are the most useless company ever; I won an item in October 2024 and have had no luck with them at all. I can only conclude that they are a big scam. Why are they still allowed to run auctions when they only do this to scam people and steal their money. In the coming week, I will prepare all the documents to open a fraud case against them.

Impressed by the quick turn around. Initially I thought I won't be able to collect but asset auctions made it possible by allowing me to collect out of hours.

Won an auction and paid £480.00, no reply to emails, phone on automated message stating we are an internet company. Then read reviews and thought id been scammed, opened a dispute with my bank, then resolver and finally Action Fraud after all this i did get a full refund after 2 weeks with no explanation. Avoid at all costs as i think im one of the lucky ones. Looked at their bank also, its called Wise Payments! Read into that what you will!!!

SCAM AND CROOKS!!!
I won an auction for a mini excavator. I paid my invoice the following day. It has now been over 4 weeks with no response or information about when i can collect the item. I have been e mailing them daily but e mails are ignored and no telephone numbers to call. I have also been to there offices in Nottingham to be told bye a neighbour they left over 3 weeks ago and I'm not the only person who has been looking for them. They have taken over £5000 off me. Also Biddpotter should be ashamed as they still allow them to trade on there website and don't help anyone.
PLEASE DONT BE SCAMMED BY THESE CROOKS

I am happy with the purchase and the people I liaised with provided great customer service to myself. I would buy again.
