effortless experience
We had a leaking pipe set in concrete and had no idea of what the process of repair and claim would be and - as it was underground - no idea of what the damage would be or how to repair it.
Mario from Aspray filled in the gaps and undertook the task of damage assessment and repair and liasing with our insurance company. The contractors he used did a good job and the only real delay in the process was due to the insurer.
As I'm pretty busy, I couldn't have handled all this on my own so it was great to have somebody do it for me without any charge. A pretty effortless experience !

I am so thankful a friend recommended Aspray to me, as I was having trouble with the subcontracted assessors who were appointed to my claim by my insurer. Little did I know how many months of battle were still ahead of us...Thankfully Bill Maynard is a seasoned negotiator with broad knowledge of the field and he represented me well, so I could relax about the whole claim process. He managed to get me a realistic and favourable outcome and I recommend his services unreservedly.

Do not use if you are a female of of ethnic origin and don’t like “mainsplaining “
Please ask for full scope of works prior to works commencing and ask for full transparency. They didn’t have my best interest. They are concerned about their own profit. They also didn’t guarantee the works. This is key.
It’s imperative people are informed about such companies.
My experience was with Midlands based Aspray company and then Swindon and Gloucester. Please be careful.

I would highly recommand Iain Speedie. Although the claim does not work out as expected, he still helped us a lot during the whole process and had managed to save us lots of time and money
After six months of being messed around…
After six months of being messed around after a leak we decided to cash settle and do the work ourselves just to get the work done. Asprey then happily take their 10% plus VAT. I would never recommend this company ever! I believe the tactic is to force the people in to cash settlement to get money for nothing other than a few phone calls/emails.

Took the stress out of my claim
I found it extremely difficult to deal with my insurance company about my claim and therefore called on the services of aspray to help. They took over the whole process and ensured that everything I was entitled to was included in the settlement and reinstatement. I was extremely pleased with the final results and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Without their help I would have no doubt received a much smaller scope of works.

George Masterton of Aspray absolutely superb
I found George Masterton of Aspray to be very efficient, knowledgeable and incredibly organised. He immediately put me at ease that he was going to sort the claim out and obtain the best settlement with the insurer. It cost us nothing and he certainly accomplished getting the best settlement. With George's expertise in the field of construction and experience in dealing with insurers he made a potentially very difficult matter stress free. George also has a wonderful engaging manner and is a pleasure with which to deal. I can highly recommend to anyone dealing with an insurance claim that they should engage George to represent them as he has fought to obtain us the best possible settlement in dealing with the works required to rectify the subsidence damage. I have no doubt that had we dealt with this matter ourselves we would have obtained less than half that which George has achieved. Finally, it should also be mentioned that the level of communication that George provided throughout the process was excellent. We were informed at every point of any development and George was always contactable and happy to assist in any way.
Superb service!
We discovered a leak under the floor at one of rental properties which wasn’t reported by the tenant so had been leaking for quite some time and caused a lot of damage throughout the flat.
We contacted Aspray in Northampton as we were unsure of the claim process. Kylie came out to assess the damage and she assured us from the start that she would take on the claim and deal with the insurance company.
She kept us informed throughout the process which took several weeks to be completed, but was stress free.
Lee & his team did a fantastic job of restoring the flat to a very high standard, so all in all we cannot recommend them highly enough.
Some Aspray agents might be good but…
Some Aspray agents might be good but Aspray of Bournemouth Employed minors a 12 year old girl on site. When we complained said she was part of the crew at 12 Cut corners plastered over mould put brand new kitchen on wet plaster .Break every single health and safety rule. My only advice is check what they are doing everyday. As for your head office looking into it that's a joke in itself got told this morning we got 8 weeks to respond to you.

Absolutely disgusting company to represent you in your hour of need , from the first day it was a mess , the woman who was sent to us on behalf of Aspray didn’t turn up even though we contacted their head office to make sure she knew the appointment was that day , when she did turn up on the next appointment she promised she would phone back her decisions and schedule to fight the insurer the next day , that didn’t happen . We have had to continuously email and attempt to phone and message her for updates without reply , even when we did get a response we felt like we were intrusive and a burden . and now the latest message we received states she can no longer deal with our claim after months of us waiting for something to be done about the leak we had with our shower.
we have had to do all the chasing of answers from the insurance company ourselves even though she said she was going to do it , Beware if you ask this company to represent you that you are not left in the lurch like us , we now have to start all over again having our home used as a pawn in other peoples games

Asprays handled our claim very efficiently with very little involvement from ourselves due to the claim being made just a few days before the property was exchanged to new owners . They kept us informed throughout the process from beginning to finish and we were very satisfied with their service
Leak in shower valve resulted in drip…
Leak in shower valve resulted in drip through ceiling.. had a lot on my plate at the time so handed over to Aspray.. dealt with a lady called Sushma who was pleasant and professional throughout but the whole process took over a year to complete and I was left with a poor finish and I still had a leaky shower.. the leak detection people utterly failed to find the leak in the first instance so they put it down to faulty sealant and waste pipe.. this was just so they could assign it to ‘something’.. this then triggered a load of work from an incorrect starting point which dragged on. 3 months after the work was completed the leak manifested again as it was a slow drip, gradually accumulating in the ceiling.. I asked Apray to investigate, they claim to offer a 12 month warranty so they sent original builder who dismantled the shower and discovered it was the shower valve which we knew it was all along.. however, at this point they washed their hands of it and suggested I pay to get the work done again or put in a new claim.. daughter is about to have back operation so we desperately need a shower for her to use so I guess I will bite the bullet in the short term and consider my options.. maybe I was unlucky but this may demonstrate to you that if your claim becomes tricky, Aspray will happily walk away leaving you no better off and several hundreds of pounds out of pocket for a job not very well done.
My entire shower enclosure is in bits.. waiting for a plumber to come and fix what Aspray should have completed minus a leak.
