From the point of online application, the telephone and email follow up was fast, efficient and friendly. The collection was right on time. A great service.

Massive thanks to driver Jordan Collection proved to be a challenge due to location and super soft ground and a lady customer that can’t give directions very well .. Jordan remained polite and positive and left with a smile and the car .. can I also add the phone team Tracey and Kerry were also very helpful and explained the process to a customer who’s never used salvage company before

ASM were extremely efficient and easy to deal with. If they didn't have the information to hand they found out and got back to me.
They were understanding with me collecting personal items from the car and when that was not possible (on my part) they contacted me and arranged direct postage at extremely reasonable rates.

After the shock of realising my quite expensive car's engine was broken, and the so-called warranty wasn't worth its paper value, I'm pleased to say dealing with ASM Auto Recycling was an absolute pleasure.

Desperate to recover some value from the car, theirs was the first quote that was realistic, albeit lower than I was comfortable with. However, they increased it slightly on request.

Throughout, they kept me informed and didn't shy away from the fact they were keen to have the car. Collection was a couple of days after agreement, and they paid the agreed amount so promptly it almost took me by surprise.

It's so nice being able to write a positive review these days, particularly for any company connected to the motor trade. But as my experience was so positive I just couldn't help but to shout about it the moment I could, and would wholeheartedly recommend ASM and will use them in the future without hesitation. I sold my Kia Sportage to ASM, they had to cancel the first collection date,because the driver was absent. But they arrived on time on the second date, took the car away and I received my faster payment the next day.
As instructed I put a sorn notification on my car and I received my DVLA notification 14 days later.
I'm pleased to say I would recommend ASM Dismantling to anyone thinking of scrapping a car. I would have given 5* if they had collected on the first date.

They were time conscious and prompt at the payment. Always available for any sought of help.

Bought a ford focus from them as run/drive and when the car get delivered no way to start that engine without oil in it…seized engine! on top of that car is full of mould( mushrooms now) they didn’t describe that in their description…if knew i wouldn’t place any bid on it!!! will leave some pictures the way they took photos and the state when i got it!

The part I ordered arrived quickly and was really well boxed up. A indicator stalk that saved me £100 if I'd bought from Renault. Excellent.

Writing to formally lodge a complaint concerning the conduct I experienced during a recent phone conversation with Ms. Tracy, the manager. This call occurred at 16:41 on Friday, 11th October 2024, and lasted for approximately eleven minutes. I was deeply troubled by her unprofessional and discourteous demeanor throughout our discussion.

Specifically, Ms. Tracy appeared dismissive of my points and showed a reluctance to consider my perspective. While she clearly articulated her views, she did not afford me the opportunity to fully explain my position. Her tone was unnecessarily rude and abrasive, rendering the interaction both uncomfortable and unproductive.

I find this behaviour to be unprofessional, unfair, and wholly inappropriate for someone in her role. I firmly believe that all individuals deserve to be treated with respect, and that effective communication necessitates both listening and speaking.

I kindly request that this matter be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to prevent the recurrence of such behaviour. Furthermore, I would appreciate feedback on how this situation will be addressed moving forward.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that it will be handled with the seriousness it warrants.

Beware advertised as run and drive !!
When the care arrived it was obvious this car could not have possibly ran and drove in any capacity with the parts missing and the damage it had sustained. After informing ASM about this I received a call from Tracy, who from the start was only interested in telling me I wouldn’t get a refund, at no point did I ask for a refund, she did not apologise or care in anyway that ASM had lied in the listing. I have written a personal letter to Chris Morgan (ASM Director) I will update this with his response if I receive a reply.

I've used ASM twice now - they make disposing of an old vehicle very simple. In both cases I'd had damage to a car that made it not worth repairing, and was facing a bill for disposal, but instead they took it away for me, dealt with all the paperwork, and paid me for the car. Great service.

Andy and Ryan went above and beyond to help me with my car this morning. Would have been in a bit of a pickle if it wasn’t for their time and expertise.

Sold them my exhaust downpipe catalytic converter (which contains precious metals) and the best price they gave me was £130 which they begrudgingly increased to £140. (and they couldn't wait to get their hands on it)

What do I know about 'exhaust downpipes' but I've lately discovered 'Premier Metal Refining' are offering between £600 - 700 to buy the same item!!

Clearly someone has trousered a lot more money than was reasonable and I've been fleeced / mugged off because I'm just some sucker.

Will take this post down if they respond to my e-mail sent on Saturday 21st July at 6pm - and offer some kind of remedy.

This transaction aside it seemed like a busy, well run family operation.

We have been trying to get our car collected from ASM. Today both Phillipa (office administrator) and Jordan (laury driver) made the process very easy. Phillipa understood the urgency of the situation and made it happen within our possibilities in terms of time. Jordan was amazing when collecting the car, helping me to move it and nothing was too much of a trouble.
Everything went smoothly and swiftly thanks to both of them.
