Excellent customer service! When a lavender plant failed to thrive it was replaced as soon as possible, and my email was replied promptly and personally.

I've bought plants for 2 lots of hedging from Ashridge and have been very impressed with the success rate (100%). Ordering was simple and I was kept informed about the progress of my order. Bareroot saplings are lifted under specific conditions so there was a wait for the order to be delivered, but they arrived securely packaged and healthy. I purchased the recommended Rootgrow and I'm sure that contributed to successful planting. I thought a few plants had died, but after several months in the ground they have finally started producing new leaves. The Ashridge website is informative with planting tips and videos. I would recommend Ashridge for value for money and customer service.

Lovely plants delivered in good time and in great condition complete with useful care instructions. Good communication was also part of the service. It was an easy and enjoyable experience ordering from Ashridge Nurseries!

Any business can be good when things go right, but how they deal with problems is a true measure. When my order arrived with some slight transit damage, the staff dealt with the matter promptly, courteously and with no fuss. I have never experienced customer service like it and would recommend Ashridge to anyone. Excellent.

Ordered on line 5 Chandos Beauty - Hybrid Tea Roses. It was very simple to order on line, and very competitive on price, when I received in late January the quality of the roses where better than expected, faultless, now they have started to flower I am more impressed with the quality, and cannot praise Ashridge Nurseries enough, I will certainly use them again and without hesitation recommend them to anybody

Ashridge nurseries provide a customer service experience second to none.
I had an issue with a purchase three months later. True to their word they sent a replacement immediately , very responsive - offered me a total refund or a replacement , I chose the latter as generally the trees are of great quality .
Would not hesitate to recommend .

I ordered and received a shipment of 25 bare root beech hedging plants in March 2021 - by the end of May none of them appeared to have survived and I emailed Ashridge to let them know. I contacted them again at the end of May when it was quite obvious the plants were all dead and sent photos and details of planting, care etc. They agreed the plants were past help and have agreed to replace them in November 2021 with, at my request, hornbeam rather than beech - they have also waived the delivery charge.

An excellent outcome for both the client and the supplier.

Haven’t received my order yet, but customer ordering experience and communications is first class.

We ordered 200 bare rooted edible hedge plants and are really pleased with the quality of what we received. Customer service response time is quite slow but well worth the wait because it’ll be a professional responding to your query and not just someone sitting behind a desk.

I ordered several sweet pea varieties which arrived recently. I was pleased to received the plants which were very well packed and labelled. I was delighted with the size of the plants and the fact that they were grown so well in root trainers. I would definitely use this company again.

There was a hitch with my order I was expecting it to cause me problems with emails back and forth, I was pleasantly surprised, I contacted Ashridge with one email everything sorted immediately excellent service.

I ordered bare root raspberries in November which I received in December. The Autumn Bliss canes were small,dry with few roots. Now in May out of 33 canes 11 of 3 varieties only 5 showing a degree of life. I emailed the company and have been told to wait until July to see if any growth and to provide photographs. I am an experienced gardener .Obviously very dissatisfied with lack of customer service.

I have read reply from Ashridge nursery. They did not add that any replacements would not be available until November. I was not satisfied so asked for a refund. This they agreed to and I was refunded within two days.

Very good service, kept me informed of delivery etc. When the plants arrived, they were packed very well and received lovely healthy plants, would certainly recommend this company.

I ordered 18 bare root raspberries last year. They arrived in December, dry as a bone with barely any root in half of them. I duly planted and watered. It is now the last week in April and still no sign of any growth. Dug one up and what little roots there were snapped like a dry twig. They replied to my email telling me to wait until the end of July then send pics! The whole of the allotment and others with new bare root have growth. I can safely say mine are dead! So unless I want to shell out more money I will have to wait three months for a refund. Rubbish customer service.

*Edited to add that having placed this review and followed up on the reply that Ashridge Trees gave, I now have a full refund.

I orderd 90/120 CM blackthorn bare root hedge from them

It arrived and not one of the hedges topped 90cm. Most did not teach the 80cm height which is the next price range down

They really should have given me the chance to get a refund and not sent them out to me

Anyway, they have agreed to process a price reduction for the smaller plants having admitted their mistake.

I have recently ordered some hedging from Ashridge Nurseries. Some beautiful copper beech plants. I ordered the largest size 120/150cm as only doing a small area which I can water easily. The plants arrived in fabulous condition , amazing root systems on all of the plants. They had been extremely well packed for their journey too. I put them in water for a couple of hours and them planted in position. I couldn't reccomend Ashridge Nurseries more highly ....
