Gift cards used for fraud
An Asda gift card was purchased fraudulently in my name and was immediately delivered via email to an anonymous email address. I immediately reported to Asda and was told there was nothing they could do and to take it up with my bank. Its deeply disappointing that Asda clearly has no meaningful checks in place to prevent gift cards being used as a tool for fraud, and takes no responsibility for when it happens. If you can't protect customers from fraud involving your own products, at the very least you should be willing to help resolve it when it's reported. I'd strongly urge others to be cautious especially if receiving any calls or emails referring to these gift cards.

Scammed by someone who bought the gift cards using my details!
I have been scammed by someone who bought these Asda Gift cards. Despite contacting the Asda Gift team and giving them the email address that the Gift vouchers were meant to be sent, Asda Gift didn't not take responsibility as the stopping a purchase was not in their power even it was bought fraudulently!!!

It was a fraudster
It was a fraudster. Four identical transactions within 10 minutes. The ASDA retailer stopped the fourth and my bank has refunded the other three and issued another card to me. I have never bought a gift card from ASDA, nor from anyone else for decades. I have no idea where the cards were sent by the store.
