Brilliant, helpful and empathetic service from Venkatesan at Ascenti. He helped me reduce pain and significantly improve over a short course.

Made to feel at ease care took at a pace i understood concerns asked and answered and a better understanding of my physical symptons

I was referred via my GP to Ascenti and met Justin on my appointments. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work and made me feel confident and at ease with the program that was set for me and he encouraged my progression and recovery. Absolutely fantastic service and would definitely recommend.

Zain in the Sheffield clinic was ace. He was friendly, patient, made sure I understood all the context and underlying causes of the injury. We pivoted the treatment programme when needed and it has had excellent results. Can't recommend him enough.

Saw Samuel Niro. Excellent result after NHS unable to identify issue. Issue identified and pain resolved.

Excellent physio by Noor Mehmood, she took time to listen and diagnose, provided effective treatment and clearly explained suitable exercises for between sessions

I came to see Samuel Niroo in a considerable amount of lower back pain. He assessed me professionally and assigned me exercises to do via the app. I quickly improved and was discharged after 3 sessions.

Visited Sarfraz in Leamington Spa. The experience has been nothing but positive. I walked in with a lower back problem aggravated by sitting, driving etc. The exercises have strengthened and released the pressure. Highly recommend.

Ascenti has been great in helping me rehabilitate and recover to feel ready to go back to football. Special thanks to Sanika for all her help!

Physiotherapist Rajesh Patar.
I came to his clinic after suffering from chronic pain for 20 years. Thanks to Rajesh's outstanding care, expertise, and dedication, my pain is completely gone. Rajesh demonstrated incredible patience, listened to my concerns, and tailored a treatment plan that succeeded where many others failed. They are an asset to your clinic and a credit to the profession. Please pass along my sincere gratitude to them and ensure this recognition is noted in their professional record.

Fatema at the Edinburgh Ascenti supported me through my recovery from a knee injury from skiing. She's been a pleasure to work with and is highly professional, personable and understanding. She gave me excellent advice, taking a holistic approach and taking care to tailor my recovery plan to my own particular situation and priorities so that I was able to safely return to my activities one by one.

She helped me understand the injury and approach to recovery and having the support of someone with genuine commitment to improving things for me made all the difference.

I've learnt a lot through my physio journey that will benefit me in future and feel lucky that the initially difficult experience of dealing with what was a frustrating injury has actually turned out to be such a positive experience overall.

Avoid!!!!

I am now writing to make a formal complaint about my telephone appointment with Addy at 12:00 today.
I found the appointment deeply unprofessional and do not feel that the service I received was of an acceptable standard.

My concerns, in order, are as follows:

The appointment started approximately 10 minutes late. This is rude.
There was no video call, despite this being an appointment where I had expected to be able to properly discuss my situation. This then took place on the phone. I did agree but frankly what else was I to do.
The appointment felt like a tick-box exercise rather than a meaningful clinical or administrative assessment.
Most importantly, I felt that Addy did not listen or frankly understand anything I was saying. I had to clarify things several times and even then she did not have a grasp of what I was saying. She also had no bedside manner. This should be a basic requirement for physios online and in person.
I was trying to explain what I needed and I ask some very basic questions about being paired with an appropriate physiotherapist. i specifically asked about being matched with someone with experience in shoulder problems and swimming-related shoulder issues. Addy did not appear to understand the question I was asking. I was then told that there was no way to filter physiotherapists on the system according to their area of expertise, she dismissed me and told me I need to speak to a surgeon??? Haha like what???? No I just wanted to make sure I am paired with an appropriate physio not just someone who is scamming the insurance company via me attending and giving me generic advice.
Given that I was simply trying to ensure that I was being referred to an appropriate physiotherapist for my specific problem, I found this extremely frustrating and unhelpful.
I appreciate that the appointment did ultimately result in a face-to-face appointment being arranged. However, that does not address my concerns about the quality of the telephone appointment itself or the lack of support in identifying an appropriate physiotherapist.

Overall, I found the appointment unprofessional. I came away feeling that this is all a bit money making machine.

Then the in person appt…

The lady who I had an appointment with just now in Person was nice, But I am still shocked at the lack of kind of quality appointment.

She wanted me to do exercises, and I specifically requested whether she could do with me and Person and a half an hour ahead run out (because it was an assessment). Why is this is inappropriate level of care, in being told to do the videos from online? I’m not good at picking things up from an app? How is this accessible?? How long the appt was not explained ?

the instructions of the excersies are very unclear. I can’t work out how to do the excerises. I might as well use the nhs.
- I asked for my exact diagnosis, she hasn’t sent it to me nor gave me the exact reasons in the appointment.
- she pressed my neck and nerves up to my brain in a way that hurt a lot, I had to ask her to stop. She did not explain why she was doing this.

I would never ever let anyone touch my neck that way and I literally still have a headache from this incompetency.

Everything about this entire experience is shocking. Please question the billing of this appt, and I do not feel comfortable using Ascenti services again

fully resolved leg pain post recieving physio treatment from Samuel Niroo at Ascenti. Would definitely recommend AAA**** treatment.

Lower back pain much improved over several weeks of sessions with Samuel Niroo.

Francis at the Shrewsbury clinic was excellent. Really listened to the issue and worked hard with me to tackle the issue with my knee and make improvements. I saw a lot of improvement really quickly.

Maryam Rani was excellent with me, working on my knee that become very painful where I couldn't function properly, after 4 sessions, I have seen a massive improvement , where I feel 80% better. I have always been sceptical of physics because they give you exercises and then nothing else, but Maryam done a lot of soft tissue work that really helped and contributed to my recovery. I would highly recommend her. She is very friendly and professional as well

Great experience. Provided me with the necessary movements to improve my strength, balance and mobility as well as excellent weekly sessions. Ajay was very professional and very friendly, tracked my progress and very helpful along the way. I’ve had success with the physio here, i’ve seen improvements even within the short time i’ve been here.
