Dreadful app.
When I log in if shows various schools which my children do not attend.
Scrolling through the pages takes as long as the good old days of dial up.

I can't actually understand why any school would use it.

Absolute rubbish un-user friendly platform causing endless stress and frustration, if I could give it zero I would.

Genuinely rubbish platform, website, and usability.

I wish schools would do some better research and consultation before forcing their users (especially parents!) to use all the various platforms they foist on us. All I'll say, is Arbor must have some seriously good sales team working for them, to get schools to sign up to this godawful service.

I honestly don't know where to start. There's no redeeming features. The look is dated, navigation is non-intuitive, the functionality is poor. For example, pay options are ancient, and require adding card details for every transaction. It's 2025 and there is no Apple / Google Pay, or ways to save payment details. Whoever threw this site together gave no thought to the actual user experience and what parents need to do. You'd better get used to drop-downs as they are pretty essential to finding most major features. No companion app for mobile devices. I keep expecting a friend request from MySpace Tom.

Arbor, sort your house out. The front end is a horrible experience.

My school moved to arbor because apparently "it supported our needs better and was larger" but it's just terrible, there is hardly any options for students to see anything like check grades or reports, you can't click a button to show you've done your homework (like go4schools) so you end up with loads of "overdue" assignments. And when you can actually find something it is unnecessarily complicated to find it. I think the real reason my school moved to this platform is because it is cheaper and it's cheaper for a reason... It's terrible

Really not liking Arbor. School previously used Parent pay which was working great. We could set up auto top up for school meals, payments were a simple one click. Now we have to enter card details for every payment and keep getting emails from the school asking us to top up the school meal account as we've forgotten. As parents I'm sure we can all agree that we need things to make our lives easier, not harder! Just took me ten minutes to find the right place to pay for an up coming school trip, really not easy to navigate at all.

Difficult to use, I can see what club my kids did three years ago but can't see what club they are doing now.
Also I keep getting loads of spam emails from my children's school and when I contacted the school about this they said emails are controlled via Arbor and there is no way they can filter what emails they send; I either get all the emails or none! So thanks to Arbor I am getting emails about what is happening in every single school year and adverts about private clubs I have no interest in. Schools need to stop using this app it is not fit for purpose and I would like to know how the decision to use this app was taken.

Really not as straight forward as people made out! SIMS was so much better and clearer. Arbor is just a mess and I’m really not liking it at the moment! Yes, I am still get used to it but I think my love will always be with SIMS.

SHOCKING! Absolutely appalling probably the most hopeless app we ever used, too much hassle for booking clubs let alone to cancel one without contacting the school! How is this app still being used around school is amaze me and to say on their web ‘the most popular school management software’ you are having a laugh! Nothing was wrong with the previous app so why change something that’s not broken??

The app is a Mess!

The interface of the app is so-counterintuitive that my teacher got fed up of using arbor and started using paper registers and paper seating plans. When I try to do something it says FORBIDDEN, I honestly think that a computer studies student had a task to make a classroom managment program and they rushed it at the last second!

We used EduLink One before and if you are a principle reading this, PLEASE USE EDULINK! I wouldn't even force my worst enemies to use this. Its literally so bad!

Absolutely terrible system, whether it’s the App or online. My children’s school has just had this installed and it’s rubbish, one of the biggest mistakes they’ve made. Tried to register first time and it wouldn’t accept the verification information I provided (and I know it’s correct). I got in touch with the school and they were unable to help as it’s a new system for them and when you contact the owners, Arbor, they say they can’t help and palm you off back to the school. Funnily enough they don’t provide an option for feedback! Unfortunately the school is stuck with this system but if this was bought from a shop I would be demanding a refund! Would like to give it 0 stars but had to give it something.

Can't even log in or make up a password. Absolutely awful my daughter is so anxious about her school trip to London and I can't secure her space. Bring back pre millennium cash for god sake

The only good review of this on Trustpilot isn't even about the Arbor app, ironically, which I've reported to Trustpilot. This app is absolutely diabolical and clearly has been for a good few years with NO changes. I have no idea why my child's school trust decided to move to this. Their lack of customer service and fobbing parents off to schools - who are NOT technically qualified to be advising on why this app isn't working - is a big red flag.

Terrible app, so hard to book an afterschool club, way too many clicks and god forbid you don’t have enough money on the balance to cover for the clubs you will have to start over the whole selection process as there is no way to top it up, and even worse you can’t cancel the clubs on the app you have to contact the school office ?! Ridiculous

This app is awfull to use on top ot that it forces password changes so thats me locked out as it needs the password i dont use as its normally a fingerprint login so ive no odea now what it is so gave up and switched my kids to packed lunch

This is quite possibly the worst app I have ever used. Unbelievably over complicated. Why so many clicks to action a simple request. This does not even deserve one star. I cannot believe this was ever launched. This app is shocking.

Why isn't zero stars, or negative stars an option? Loath to give it one star, but oddly, that's the minimum I have to give in order to leave a review! [Come on Trustpilot - that really doesn't make a lot of sense.]

As a school governor, I felt compelled to leave negative feedback about this app.

Arbor refuse to help parents resolve issues. Instead, they make the school responsible for all of it's application support to carers/parents.

So assuming my child's school are giving me the correct information:

Arbor designed an application that never considered that two parents/carers might both like to receive important messages about their child. Only one parent (my spouse) can receive messages, despite us both having accounts for the same child. We can see notices and approvals. But important messages? - No, they can only ever go to one parent/carer with Arbor!
