Do not give this scam company a cent. They promise you the moon but when I comes time for you to request a withdraw, all you get are excuses.
I dealt with David Hudson at the beginning, then I got scammed by another company called PIbexa which is just as bad! So they put me with a so called recovery with Andrew Neuman which is another complete scam artist. All they did was kept asking me to give them money constantly with no results.
Andrew Neuman promised me after last payment money would be transferred to me within 24 to 48 hours. Total lie. They are a bunch of SCAMMING SLEEZE BAGS,I HOPE THEY ALL ROT IN HELL. I repeat did not give them a cent of your money it will be gone for good!!!

When I decided to invest with Aquilabit, there was no review about them. I invested a little at first and my account grew at an alarming rate and I was too excited that I invested more, but I was wrong. They allowed my first withdrawal just to get me to invest bigger. This is why lawyers at Lit Claim have been so helpful, they got me a refund from the first scam broker and now aquilabit, they help other investors with withdrawals from these scammers too.

Total scam I luckily invested minimum amount and they showed these big profits and built my assets up quickly. Then I requested a withdrawal to this day have never recieved one cent. Total runaround I can still login and now everything gained at one time is now gone. I asked them to stop all trading when the profits were there but they did not. DO NOT GET SCAMMED by these CROOKS

It’s embarrassing to admit I made such a huge mistake but if it prevents others from becoming a victim then it’s worth my shame. I was scammed by Aquilabit. I bought in November 2020 with high hopes. By mid-January 2021, I requested just 3 btc out of 13 and was put off. So very many red flags from Cam being rude on phone calls and his fast talking sales pitch on his routine phone calls. Don’t ask for a face-time or you’ll be screamed at. That was Cam’s reaction when I was only kind and didn’t want to upset him so that he’d risk all my investment and profit. In the end, it was just numbers on a screen. If I wanted to take out any money, it had to be approved by Cam and he simply would not approve it. My request would sit there unanswered. It had been months since I’d requested my account be liquidated and of course I’ve gone through Cam, Andrew, Legal Team, Finance. If I’d been able to withdraw 3 btc out of 13 btc when I requested it, I’d be posting a very different review. I am retirement age and cannot make up what I’d invested. I will be looking for other platforms to leave reviews on Aquliabit in other countries because the more we can get the word out the better.

Spent months trying to get Aquilabit to liquidate my account and they simply would not. The most they will give you is .01 of a btc to appease you so that months go by and it’s too late to take legal action. Well, I was not seeing any of my liquidation monies so I agreed to put it in SLR Trades with “Phil” hoping against all odds. I had 18 btc (huge profit on screen). No less than one week in SLR Trades and the day they open up trading on my account, they risked 17 out of 18 in various trades and lost it ALL. Just as predicted by others who were scammed and were brave enough to post their comments, they make it look like they traded it all and lost it all in one day. Please, I beg you do not invest in Aquilabit or SLR. There are other sites with no red flags jumping up slapping you in your face like Aquilabit. JUST DON’T with Aquilabit and SLR you will be so happy you learned from others who have lost so much more.

May 21, 2021 SURPRISE I just received notice that the BTC has been returned to my account and it was Phil who got it returned. The reason it was lost was due to error on their part. I guess don’t panic until you know for sure it won't be returned. I am supposed to be able to withdraw in 2 months and by investing in HFT, I should be able to withdraw a monthly ‘income’ for lack of a better word. I’m holding out hope with SLR Trading.
SLR scammed us as well, an affiliate of Aquilabit. So many margin calls and in the end they took it all. I am crushed.

Scammed and devastated.... Stopped answering my emails, phone #'s don't work and are disconnected, and took $30,000!!! How can I file a complaint and try to get my money back????

Hello I have been scammed by this company they want me to pay $50k to withdraw my profits.They don't care about clients only to steal your money. What can I do to recover my funds

DO NOT OPEN UP AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY......They are corrupt and totally a SCAM!
I invested money into Bitcoin and they were very available for the first few months. I had 3 different Brokers work with me on "educating" me on their services and how to invest and make money. Good thing I only invested 500.00. Barrett Hoffman or whoever the hell the crook is, was my last broker and was trying to convince me to put in another 10,000.00. He wasn't overly agrressive but he did a fine sales job on me trying to convince me to add whatever I could.....good thing I didn't. I told him that I wanted to liquify my account and never heard back from him or the company since and that was around March 7 2021. I have tried contacting Aquilabit by phone and email many times(the phone number is not in service and the email bounces back).
I got taken by a very evil company that preys on people that want to invest with them. They are criminals and should be jailed!!!!! This Barrett Hoffman dude scumbag is going to have his time coming and so are the fraudsters that run this SCAM.
I made the payment with credit card and it was taken out by a name YAROSLAVL RUS...Obviously Russian.

Aquilabit is a total SCAM. I They are professional thieves. Please do not invest anything with them but rather warn your community about them. The individual that I dealt with came by the name of Barrett Hoffman. This is not his real name of course. I invested my initial $250 in September 2020 and another $200 in January 2021. The investment grew to over $6000 because bitcoin skyrocketed. I have been trying to take out my investments for the past two months and all of a sudden they are not responding to me. I should have known better when they offered to match my initial investment that it was too good to be true. Would love to get my money back and really stick it hard to these scammers.

Aquilabit is a scam, do not use this fake broker. They take your money and show you great gains so you will deposit more money. If you try and withdraw they will delay and show your account had "margin calls" and your profit disappeared.

Aquilabit is a SCAM, they are nothing but a bunch of thieves! I traded with them in 2 occasions; the first time around I dealt with David and he was nice at first but they have a way of tricking people, manipulating the trades... I got the money back and some mere profit after my first trading back in May of last year.
They called me back in September when I have dealt
with Robert Thomas, a THIEF with high degree, then with Andrew Newman, a viper, he yelled at me, threatened me with their lawyers, made me cry on the phone despite the fact that he knew I am an elderly person in need of money for medication and bill payments but they are not human, they have stones instead of hearts...

THEY ARE DOING THE SAME THING TO A LADY FROM TORONTO, MARY M. who is in the same situation. She opened an account with them, sent them money, manipulated the account in such a way to make her believe that she lost the money and now, Andrew Newman is playing the disappearing game with her, refusing to answer to her e-mails and phone calls. I know exactly their tactics of stealing money from people. WE ALL KNOW HOW MUCH BTC WENT UP SINCE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND YET, THEY ARE STEALLING THE GAINING AND REFUSE TO GIVE PEOPLE THEIR OWN MONEY BACK.

They conduct the trading in such a way to show you how much money they "can make" for you, they don't let you close the trading positions once the trading item starts going down quite a lot and, in the end they manipulate the numbers and you in such a way to make you believe you lost.
I did get my money back the second time around, as well but only after I wrote some bad reviews on 3-4 places and, at what cost, almost had a heart attack while on the phone with A.Newman yelling and swearing at me, I took 2 aspirins and I told him and he stopped only after I told him that I am recording the conversation.

And, in order to get my money back he wanted me to delete one of my reviews, first a small amount of $ back, and then, he promised to give my the rest in a couple of days but he was delaying it. I got it in 10 days-2 weeks. And he wanted me to write a positive review after I got my money back and some profit, but not because of their generosity, I got back the original amount I invested in BTC and, because BTC went up a bit, again. And I did write another review giving them 4 stars, explaining how things went with my dealings with them, leaving out some painful details that I explained in here, now.

Now, people are writing to me asking me why do I give them 4 stars BECAUSE THEY ARE SCHEMING HUNDREDS OF SENIORS, TAKING MONEY FROM THEM AND REFUSING THE GIVE IT BACK JUST LIKE IN THE CASE OF the LADY in TORONTO, MARY who is in the same situation. She opened an account with them, sent them money and now, Andrew Newman is playing the disappearing game with her, refusing to answer to her e-mails and phone calls. I know exactly their tactics of stealing money from people.
I got my money back and some profit but that was a very painful experience and they didn't deserve any star. DO NOT OPEN ANY ACCOUNT WITH THE, DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY.
Anyone giving them good review is either a lie or a real case where they got their own money back after screams and swearing at them, threats...

AQUILABIT in its response to my previous review (see DYSON) is misrepresenting the information about my account.

Aquilabit, in its response, states "To review your exact situation with some detail and make sure our other clients have full transparency, I can see that you had invested $1,000 CAD and $12,000 CAD.", and then Aquilabit (or Andrew Neuman) proceeds to state incorrect information.

I have never invested in Aquilabit using Canadian Dollars but Bitcoins. Their statements are incorrect. I invite Trustpilot to look at all the emails, copies of accounts emptied in seconds, communications requesting for Aquilabit to stop trading my accounts that continue to be ignored, etc, etc.

I invite Trustpilot to ask Aquilabit to provide the name of the corporation that owns it (registered it) and to ask Andrew Neuman, Robert Thomas, Jack Miller, David Hudson, and all of the current account/asset managers to present a government-issued document to prove their identity. This will never take place. Any ethically practicing account manager will have no issues providing legit identification. These guys WILL NOT do that.

Please download an app to your cell phone to record your conversations with each of the asset managers or any other representatives at Aquilabit. You will need proof to present in court.

Keep records. KEEP records. They will be caught eventually.

Anyone reading Aquilabit's response to my previous review in which Aquilabit states that I received a 498% increase would have to wonder why should I be so upset with such a bounty.

Also, anyone reading Aquilabit's response now knows that Aquilabit is ready to share information about its clients, their investments, their withdrawals, and their email addresses.

No financial institution is legally allowed to share information about client's accounts. This is unethical, immoral, and a breach of the client's privacy.

Do not believe in all the good reviews. They are often written by people under pressure.

My review here is only aimed at those who are planning to invest ...please do not lose your hard-earned money at the hands of Aquilabit.

Please check the internet - google scam or fraud together with Aquilabit. Bad reviews are EVERYWHERE. They keep popping up.

UPDATE: March 2 2021 Aquilabit BARRET HOFFMAN called me on Feb 9 at 5:36 PM Eastern Time. He stated he will send me the bitcoins in my account and that the process should not take more than 3 days. Not only he did not transfer the money but called several times harassing me into paying him 10 percent of the funds I have in my account in advance if I wanted him to transfer the bitcoins. I asked that he send me information about this request in writing. He has yet to do so (March 2, 2021). I have several recordings of his vulgar language use. Willing to hand those to Trustpilot. Aquilabit has stolen my funds. They have locked me out of my account. They have yet to honor my request to withdraw funds. Aquilabit is a pyramid scheme (google Wiki Aquilabit).

If I could give zero stars, I would.
I invested the beginning of December. Approximately 500$ cdn. They had no problem contacting me to get my money, everything seemed ok in the beginning. Then the scheduled phone call meetings began to be “missed” on more than one occasion.

This upset me as I held off other work obligations to schedule the phone calls meetings. When I finally received a call out of the blue, I was going through some traumatic family issues and let Andrew know how upset I was about the multiple missed phone calls. I was extremely upset because I felt as though I was not being valued as a client as I’ve worked in customer service at multiple levels through the years.

When things calmed down regarding the family issues and I was in a better place, I reached out via email and more or less apologized for being an ass. I was told that we would have a phone call meeting the following day, waited for the call, did not happen.
I emailed again, thinking email may be an easier way to respond. I also did want to invest a bit more as well as request a withdrawal as I saw there were funds available. I haven’t heard back since :(

I feel like a dumb dumb for investing in something that was too good to be true :(
I was telling good friends about the company too and encouraging them to invest, I’m glad I told them to wait until I received a withdrawal in case the company was a scam.

Like others, I decided to take to writing a bad review since people seemed to have success getting contacted going in this direction.

I made sure that I reviewed the terms of service (multiple times might I add) to ensure I was understanding the nature of the withdrawal process, to which I believe I did. I made a request two weeks ago and have not yet been contacted, when the terms stipulated that I someone would contact me within 48 hours of the initial request, which did not happen. I’m generally a patient understanding person, but if I don’t get a response via email even after two weeks, it makes me feel as though I was taken advantage of.

Maybe there’s something I’m missing or haven’t read. But I’m very disappointed in my overall experience. If you want to invest in crypto, try another site. It’s unfortunate too as this platform is awesome and easy to understand for newb like me. Wish it was easier to have better control over my investment :(

I hope that the company is able to move towards a more customer oriented direction and make people feel as though they’re valued. It’s very unfortunate that most of us feel as though we have to write a negative review of our experience in order to be heard by the company :(

Honestly, At the beginning, it looks great! In the Back-Office, you can see the way the account is working but the problem is they don't want to pay it back.

For Christmas 2020, I started receiveing so many emails from a group of people complaining of Aquilabit service, their account and the way the were treated by those people.

Frustrated, I called Andrew and asked him about what was really happening?

He immediately offered me to send some of my money from my personal account to prove me that everything was ok.

However, that was not my problem because I really don't care about my personal account.

However, I have my friend Jackson I referred to him and whom he encouraged to borrow money to invest with them, But now My friend needs to pay his credit card back three months later, he refused to approve the withdrawal.

Also, I have a group of friends that I encouraged to invest with them too and that who want to close the account now, Andrew N. refused to close the account neither to allow withdrawal.

Last week, Andrew N. told me that Someone from the finance team would contact me today, A guy by the name of Beret or something called me sounding as if he had no idea of what he was talking about and soon after that he started insulting me talking about my country and my people.

I said it and I want to repeat it up here, I really don't mind about my personal account, because that money won't change anything in my life, but my friends money, I am not going to give up on it. Oh hell yeah, they will hear from me and about it times and times again.

Those people whether Andrew Neuman, John Reed, Beret or whatsoever, will never be someone all their life. I will be the last person they have to deal with, trust me.

They keep calling you a thousand times a day to put your money in there, but when you want to take the money out, they will never want to process it, I just don't understand those people.

All my friends want is their money back, not even the earnings, but their hard-earned money, so why is it so hard for Aquilabit scammers to understand?

I joined in December, in January I had about US $ 500 in profit and I applied for a withdrawal.I was given deadlines that were never kept.I contacted MyBack Charge and The fraud squad from Capital One.they are very good at handling scammers, but this time they couldn't get a hold of Aquilabit.Today I received a no reply e-mail saying that my trade has been closed due to Margin Over Balance. So the way Isee it I just lost all my money. I just wish that the Swedish government issued the warning about Aquilabit earlier.It's not trade with them, is lose with them.

Now received my full withdraw! Thanks Aquilabit I managed to earn around 5 times of my original investment I had made in July last year! I have to take a rest bite from trading as it is very stressful but I am going to reinvest during the next pull back! Great ride with a great account manager! Thanks Aquila

Honestly, how can someone give 5 stars, for some 0.2btc withdrawals, to this company of scammers! I’ve started dealing with them last September, 250€ on my account and 9200€ (1btc) on my wife’s account. Initial trader was David Hudson, which after raising the big account to 2.17btc transferred it to Robert Thomas late December. Due to the skyrocket growth of the btc early January, the account reached 63btc (screen capture available) in equity, so at the time almost 1.9 million USD. A skilled trader would have close all trades, get the profit, whichever would have been, and split it between us and the company. But the said Robert Thomas did nothing, let all collapse, blocking me from viewing the trades he reopened, until the account reached 1.65btc. We’ve wrote him that we wish to close the account, claimed a withdrawal of what was available (1.01btc) but instead of showing some human character, he reopened trades until the account got to 0 due to margin calls. I’m letting you judge the facts, but DO NOT TRUST A WORD OF THEIR PROMISES. All it’s a scam, they’re making profit with your money, giving you some crumbs from time to time, if you’re lucky. Must thank though David, who gave us 0.25btc just before he left.
By the way, I was stupid enough to give them money before checking the Internet (don’t make the same mistake!), otherwise one can discover that Aquilabit is not a registered forex company in Sweden, as they state, therefore there is no legal action that you can take against them, they’re just a bunch of CFD’s so called traders...
