The repairman was a rip off he charge me $400 in advance claiming the washer will work, he said it's a common problem and he will fix it. he then began to do the job but problem was not solved he gave me a piece of paper saying the problem was not solved and left with the money. Company is a scam

BE AWARE of the company APPLICANCE REPAIRMAN! We just had this company to our home to service our washer, definitely a scam. When the appointment was booked they told me it would cost $80 for the repairman to come and look at the machine and provide a cost estimate to repair the unit and if we decided to go ahead with the repairs the $80 would be deducted. As it turned out it was going to cost $320 just for the labour to determine what is wrong with it not counting parts. The repairman didn't even look at the machine before he listed the labour parts. Unfortunately we didn't research the company to see all of these comments first, as we would not have paid the $80. Lesson learned research the company before you set up an appointment. Too many dishonest people today!

Worst company I have ever dealt with!!! First they scammed me into paying over $800 when they only quoted me $300. It’s been over 3 weeks and it is STILL not fixed. They will schedule an appointment then never show up. I have already paid the $800. I have called them 20+ times through this experience. Worst company do not call them

I made the mistake to call them because I confused their name with another company. Someone came to my house to see my stove and charged 280$+taxes for doing nothing than telling me that I need a new main board. They charged for some non-existing operations like "wiring systems service" without changing or doing anything with any wire.
As everyone said here "Don't call them".

Don't even call them. I called early in the day and made an appointment. I decided that I won't need their services and called to cancel. They still want to charge me $80.
They state that I confirmed a no cancellation agreement. Nope, that didn't happen.

Guys, stay away, this is really unbelievable!
$80 for technician to come out for a dishwasher repair.
Then he called and said he had to re-program the board for $280.
I hesitated, but agreed as he said the machine would be like new after.
Then he called and said it's basically fixed, but they need a new main board assembly for $546.68 + tax.
I refused, called the office and offered to pay the $80 and buy a new dishwasher.
They threatened me it would go to collections and my tenants name will go too, as shes signed...
I said you can't ask me to pay $934.15 (total cost of 280 and part + tax) for a repair, when a brand new machine is $649.
They didn't agree and now we see if we go to court...
Stay away, just a rip off!!!!!

Total Scam...Please review the better business bureau warnings about this company before booking. They WILL rip you off.

The worst company I have ever experienced with. From the technician to the customer service team. Extremely rude and AGGRESSIVE!! Will be reporting this company. They are thieves!

Very expensive, Did not fix my washer, requested additional money.
Came late. Was suppose to come between 5pm - 8 pm, showed up at 10:30 pm. 3X more expensive than Whirlpool Canada. Requested I pay $265 for his time without fixing my washer!

What an absolute scam!!!! First of all, DON’T SIGN ANYTHING! I was charged a whopping $316.40…and not only did they NOT FIX my dishwasher, but NO PARTS WERE REPLACED, and they wanted another $400 to install a part that cost me $100 to fix myself. They did absolutely nothing!! No fix, no replacement and just a scam of a call for $316.40 to do absolutely nothing! I have never written a review in my entire life, but this was such a huge scam. I wish I read the reviews before I had them come over. They are all the same. $316.40 down the tubes to do absolutely nothing!!!

Bottom, line I am out over $360 and don't have a working washing machine. The company will tell you that it is $80 to come out and assess, but will waive if you go ahead with repair. Technician here less than an hour, said he had seen the same problem before and could get the unit working. Used silicone, and told me not to use the unit for 24 hours. Also sheepishly told me that I would need an $862 to repair properly. Should have told me that before he went ahead. Site says they take VISA and MASTERCARD but when he left he said he could only accept debit or cash. Don't want to bore you with all the details, but suffice to say, all the other reviews sound like a carbon copy of my experience. Will be pursuing this with Consumer Protection Ontario.

I should have read the reviews before I booked a dryer repair. So the tech told me the dryer doesn’t heat. I already knew that. So that was $80. Now He tells me it’s $280 labour to actually tell me what’s wrong. When the cost of parts. So I said you guys are a bunch of scammers because your going to steal $80 for absolutely nothing or $280 if I decide not to do the repair. Let’s say the parts $200 or $300 how much is this going to cost. He said a lot. I said this is a scam to make money. He told me that’s the way this company does business
Needless to say to I paid him nothing. He wanted me to sign I refused.
The next day we hired a legit company that said it would be $80 for the service call that would provide a quote to do the repair. Quote was $300 with parts and repair was done
If anyone can write a positive reviews about this bs company (Appliance repairmen) please do. Not sure there’s any out there.

Serviceman did minimal analysis of my fridge which was beeping and temperature was not stable. He said he knew the issue and required no parts as he was an expert and had seen this many times. I told him that I did not want to spend alot of money on the fridge due to its age and if required parts, I would not go ahead with the service. He assured me that no parts were required. He filled in the invoice and I signed it. He said he reset the main switch and 30 minutes later said the fridge was fixed. I told him that the fridge was still beeping and he said, no worries, once it is plugged in for 3 hours, it would stop when the temperature rose. He assured again that he was an expert and seen this many times. I confirmed again that no parts were required and I took his word for it and paid and he left. I then looked on the invoice and he had written after I had signed there was an extremely expensive part required. I thought back and realized that he filled that in after I had signed as he said that he forgot to add the first time customer coupon ($15 discount). What made matters worse is that when I called the company to complain that not only was my fridge not fixed, but he did not even communicate that a part was required, they simply said, well you signed the invoice approving the work. There was no effort to assist the situation at all. I left multiple messages for a manager to call me back (as my food was spoiling due to the fridge working even worse after that it had supposedly been serviced) and they did not call me back. I kept calling and just by luck, the manager finally answered and was no help at all.

Unfortunately, I was in a bind and wanted this fixed and did not do the usual research on the company, and if I had I would have found that this company does this all the time.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the heartache and do not use this company if you have appliance issues.

DO NOTTT USE THIS COMPANY. I called to have my fridge repaired and was told as long as getting fixed there would be no housecall fee. Once here the guy looked at various things and told me it was my timer on the fridge so I thought he was fixing that. After everything done..I asked him if fixed and he said yes but that I would need a new compressor. I asked him how long my fridge would last right now snd he said probably a year. Then went I went to sign the bill it states need new compressor, which he did say to repair it fully. So me being stupid thought ok well well I get a year out of it, it will be worth the 300 that I paid. I then asked him how much for s new compressor ..he said 200 and the labour would be free . Little did I know though, he didn’t fix anything and within two weeks fridge doing the same thing. When I called the company to complain about this I was tojd pretty much too bad so sad. She said the 300 I paid was a service fee to just look at the fridge. So I asked how much for a compressor and was told over 1000.00 lol as it would be like having a new fridge. When I asked to speak to someone higher or owner, was told that’s not possible and no one higher than her as a customer service manager! Do not use these peopje unless you want to get ripped off! 😡😡

Garbage company .... they know nothing I wish I could read the reviews earlier..they changed everything in my referigerator and it’s still the same..I wanted to give them -5 stars...

Listen to everyone who reviewed this business because they are range from horrible to basically being a scam. Had an oven with an electrial/ mother board problem that presented an error code. Was told about the $80 estimate fee/ service fee and an additional cost of labor fee with parts fee ofif needed be. No exact numbers but online searching hinted that it would be between 100 - 180$ max.

"Repairman arrives 30 mins late of the appointment window (10am-1pm) and immediately asks to use the washroom. Doesnt take off his shoes when asked, which is all fine because I know what it means to work labor sometimes.

After he is finally ready, takes a look that takes less time than when he used the washroom which is to say like 30 secs. Proceeds to tell me what I already figured from online searches with what's wrong about my oven but can't be too sure until he does a proper inspection which would result in performing the labor which would cost the whole 280$ plus part cost. All of which is non-guaranteed to fix the oven. So what was the point of the inspection? Beats me. I don't even force him to take another look because the price to fix it is already halfway there to buying another oven, possibly even new if not a little old. I deny further "service" but accept to pay the estimate/ intial service fee of 80$ plus tax equalling 90.40$. BUT, this guy doesnt accept credit card or exact change. When i made the appointment, I asked if they accept Credit cards and i was told yes. Repairman doesn't carry the machine and wants exact change. Who carries cash and on top of that, exact change! Whatever, I pay exact cash with rounding up to the nearest nickel.

Nothing they did was exactly illegal but hella shady and dishonest. No one person that I communicated with did anything especially wrong but what they did say and what they did do was heavily close to being wrong/dishonest. There was no professionalism, no complete honesty, and rudeness from the repair guy which could have been forgiven if it was one or two actions he committed but there were many. Real quick, even though the repair guy was late, he was grilling me for exact change and was a little mad about me taking long to get his change because " I have other customers".

They suck, and you should avoid them.

I had exactly the same experience!! I'm convinced they're working from a script and are extremely well rehearsed. I, too, was told $80 which very quickly jumped to the magic $280 for testing the motherboard. Unfortunately and very stupidly I signed the form authorizing him to do so. Chris, the technician? tinkered with the dishwasher for few minutes, turned off the power to the dishwasher, tinkered some more, turned the power back on and started a wash cycle. Then he left to go out to his car for "a few minutes". While he was gone the dishwasher beeped and the same error code I had called about reappeared. He was gone for about 15 or 20 minutes. I finally went outside and knocked on the hood of his car to get his attention (he was using his cell phone) and told him to come back in and do what I was paying him for...service my dishwasher. Once inside he informed me that even though he had reset my motherboard it was all in vain and therefore a new part would have to be ordered. He also said the part was no longer available even though my dishwasher is only 2 1/2 years old but I shouldn't be too concerned as "they" were searching for a replacement. When I asked how much the cost would be he hesitated as if he didn't know and then said $460. I assumed that would include the $280 charge but no, that was in addition to for an approximate cost of $740!! Dishwasher was not repaired.

This company is a scam watch out. The said it would be 80 dollars, then they came in and it ended up being 300 in 45 minutes, and the dishwasher is still not fixed, they need to "order a pump" which is an additional 280 + tax. I could of bought a new dishwasher for that.

I called this company and I totally fell for the scam. They advise there will be a an 80 dollar service fee for showing up. When he got here, he needed to take the back off the fridge. The labour cost was 320. Then he had to get a part. When I asked how much the part would cost, he said he didn't know. He returned with the part and installed it and the fridge started to work again. He then told me the cost of the part which was exhorbitant. It is a total scam. The fridge got fixed but you could basically buy a new fridge for what it cost to repair. The repairman was polite enough but was defensive when asked any questions. I should have known better but just wanted my fridge working again. Best advice....call elsewhere or shop for another appliance.

Complete Scam.
They made me sign a contract before doing the service. Didn't do anything. Charged me 316 dollars and left the machine open.
Not to mention on the contract there's someone's else address in it.
COMPLETELY ILLEGAL. A fraud.
