Apartment Guide is great!!
Apartment Guide is the rare site that allows one to narrow one's search by offering the "more" tab and allowing one to choose everything from price range to amenities to garage. That option really sets it apart from other sites.

I used this web site to look for an apartment in a different state as we plan to move. There were many to look at including floor plans. What I needed to know was about disability accessible apartments but that info wasn't included.

We also recommend when sending your availability request to the property managers ask if they have housing choice voucher program options or more information about their housing policies.
Scavenger Hunt
Some of the apartment information is incomplete i.e. rent, pictures of community, details about what is available in the community, monies needed to secure an apartment, income restricted parameters. These are all very important items that should be detailed on the web site.
It is also very difficult to get in touch with some communities. They do not include their phone number, hours of operation or leaving a message or email is not received. This has personally happened to me. I think the site can still use a little updating with more detail.

Unable to find Section 8 housing...
I have looked and looked on this website. I have found many apartments for rent. The only problem I have encountered is the fact that I am disabled, single, white, female living on Social Security. I'm looking for Section 8 housing. That is unable to do on this website.
