AOL'S censors are working overtime to make AOL the worst user friendly service online TODAY!!!! I don't like ZUCKERBERG and or FACEBOOK but his services are much better than AOLS. The US SUPREME COURT has already ruled that AOL cannot stop consumers FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS but they continue to do so. I entered the online experience in about 1985 with AOL and every day since then it has gotten much worse. I'm seriously considering LEAVING AOL for parts unknown but NO ONE is going to STEP ON my FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS

Ever since Verizon email was pushed to AOL and AOL being bought by YAHOO, I constantly get mail can not send, try again when I know I have AOL set up as an account on my MacPro. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not work. I don't know why Verizon synched with AOL, but Verizon does not have the best customer service.
SO - AOL and or YAHOO - get your email working consistently!

Noted over the past year that some of the comments left after reading Aol articles are simply disgusting, some whom make vile comments for example 'Implying its funny that little kids have been abducted and killed' these commentators on these posts are simply sick and twisted individuals or those who think domestic violence is great, even some imply in jest that they've murdered people themselves, its quite horrifying some of the comments left on Aol articles, thankfully many seem to be deleted by Aol if they are reported by many but sadly Aol still seem to leave some of the awful comments up which is rather bad and sad, simply because they dont fit into the report box criteria maybe.

Appears although some comments are completely out of order (as noted by for example 15 thumbs down and no thumbs up) that the comment doesnt fit into the aol report boxes even though its one that may be distressing or cruel etc therefore doesnt get removed . I have to say that I am all for 'freedom of speach' but not when its implying a little child deserves to be abducted or a nasty twisted vile comment made at a deceased murdered childs expense. Its vile, maybe Aol you could add a generic box to your reporting list that can cover anything that your other report boxes dont.

Other than that , no issues with Aol at all, their articles always seem pretty well written and informative its more the comments after an article that the public can leave that needs a bit more monitoring.

Constantly bombarded with 2 factor authentication on my email account which is not used for anything "secure". I've asked them to STOP, but that's too complicated a concept for them. 2FU has made a convenience a task----so I'm O U T !

Ok so I had a big problem in 2018 where all my emails disappeared at a rather stressful time. This was put right and until now I've had no problems. The AOL App stopped working today. I've done all the usual steps but I cannot get it to open past the Logo! Please sort it ?!!!

AOL have imposed warrenty on products that l've purchased without my consent using their email service to complain they have replied with an email stating

WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED WITH DETAILS OF THE WARRENTY

Despite my complaint they have totally ignored that l do not want these warranties

Never use the AOL email service because I lost my Etsy account because they don't want to help me in any way. email is 1000% correct and my password is 1000% correct but the issue is that I never received the phone verification code 😡😡😡😡😡

At 1:00 pm on Feb 4 2024, my entire inbox was gone! I called Tech Support and was told to have them restored I had to sign up for the 24/7 tech support subscription. I signed up and their subpar Tech only restored 1 month and 15 days of email. All my previous 5 months of email I have remained missing! Now they want to blame Outlook. They are the worst company ever. Their Customer Service and Tech Support is a joke and they have no accountability to their customers. I would never recommend them to anyone. Horrendous through and through

Went on my AOL today looking for a specific email that was in a folder, but it was no longer there. And neither were 99% of the emails that were in that folder just 2 days ago. I have checked all my other folders and it seems to have only affected this one folder. I thought perhaps they could have somehow gone into the trash folder, but after a search the only emails appearing are the same in that folder. Called customer service and after listening to the agent ask the same questions over and over, I was informed that I needed technical support to move forward. Here's the kicker, for technical support, I need to have a paid account. Coincidentally, this same folder has important information that I have accessed a few times this week, but have not in the past two days. Sooooo, all of a sudden all these emails disappear from that folder only and now I have to pay support to get them back?!?!? Sounds kind of fishy. Why should I pay to get back something that they lost? Was it done on purpose so I would have to pay???
I want my emails restored and I'm not paying!!!

AOL have been harassing me for years to get on a pay for plan. Now they've created a way to force you to pay by locking you out of your account(s). They know those old telephone numbers wouldn't be working forever. They know you won't remember those old passwords to those multi- accounts of which they've encouraged you to use double protection for passwords! Now you'll be forced to call their pay for service to assist you. Well it's only a matter of time where you'll read an article to invite you into a class action lawsuit against them. They are thieves. It's a money grab.

When I look at my contacts list it contains the contacts I have stored.
When I compose an email and search for an email address by typing in say, just the letter ‘A’ it then presents a whole list of email addresses beginning with the letter A - that have been extracted from forwarded emails that I have received.
Those people are having their email addresses extracted and stored by AOL without their permission. Can you tell me how this is morally and legally correct?

AOL used to be great. I've used them for over 25 years. Now I get all kinds of spam. Emails that I need are going to the spam folder or not being delivered at all. When I call support, they told me they would not help me unless I paid these large fees. Very disappointed with their support. AOL is no longer a good company.

I have been using AOL for my emails for over 25 years or so. But they started banning me from commenting on their articles because 4 years ago I used to comment about politics and AOL is a left wing nut server so they banned me. They suck! They cater to Demonicrats narratives.

It's pathetic, outdated and their 'Home Page' news is a tragedy. A cross between the worst 'People magazine' and a doom and gloom Conspiracy site. Earthquakes everywhere. 1.3 on the Rictor. Oh my god, a 3.1 in Fargo. A 2 in Nebraska. S**t!!! The world is ending. ABSURD!

I have been a loyal customer of AOL for many many years. Sadly, I am going to have to drop AOL even though I have multiple family and friends who know my screen name and would like me to stay. I would like to stay too!
And, I’m going to make a prediction - TONS Of others will leave as well! Why?! BECAUSE AOL GOT GREEDY!!!!! They started putting ads up. Not a few ads — lots and lots of ads!!!!!! And they say you can “temporarily” get rid of then- but you can’t! I have a Match of Dimes ad that comes up about 3 times a day.

What is AOL’s greedy little solution? They tell customers to get a PAID subscription if they want no ads. But look online and read what people are saying WHO PAID FOR AN “AD FREE” SUBSCRIPTION — they ARE YELLING THAT THE ADS KEEP COMING!
Today I told AOL : you are killing your business! Goodbye AOL!!!

Every dsy I have to get a new password to read my mail and the one that THEY literally came up with the day before won't work!!!!! Also all the garbage ads that fill up my mail box every day. I am ready to get rid of aol after all these years!!!
