I am beyond frustrated with Amazon’s pathetic customer service and completely unreliable delivery system. I had ordered a Jabra headset, paid instantly, and was expecting a smooth experience like before. But what I got was pure harassment.

First, I was told the product was out of stock after placing the order. Then some agents said it would be delivered anyway. I even spoke to the delivery agent directly, and he promised delivery within 2 hours—only to cancel the delivery last minute with no explanation.

I’ve wasted days waiting, rescheduling my time for this delivery, only to be told later, “We’ll just refund you.” As if that’s enough. And guess what? Even the refund is not instant—I was told it will take 5 to 15 business days! That’s half a month!

So basically, I wasted nearly a month, got no product, no real support, and now I’m supposed to wait again just to get my own money back?

Amazon used to be reliable, but now their logistics and support feel totally broken. This experience was mentally exhausting and financially frustrating. Absolutely disappointed.

Complaint Regarding Exchange Order and Poor Customer Service

I formally raised a complaint regarding a highly disappointing experience with my recent order involving an exchange in Amazon India.

Today, I ordered a new Samsung phone under the exchange offer for my old Samsung M21. The amount was deducted from the total payable during checkout.

However, during delivery, the delivery executive initiated the phone test using the Rabbit Exchange app after transferring data to the new phone. The app showed that all tests were passed (screenshots attached). Despite this, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional amount, as the exchange value was completely removed without justification.

To resolve the issue, I connected your customer service representative on a conference call with the delivery executive. The delivery person acknowledged that the app had passed all tests but claimed there was nothing he could do. Shockingly, the customer service agent also refused to escalate the issue or offer any support, stating there was no further help they could provide.

This experience has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. If the customer service cannot assist in resolving such clear discrepancies, it raises serious concerns about the reliability of your exchange program and support system at Amazon.

Their Prime membership is a joke in…

Their Prime membership is a joke in terms of delivery priority. They mostly delivery prime items after 10:00 PM in night risking customer safety. While non prime member get same order delivered next day early morning before 8:00 AM. so what is the point of buying prime membership? Tell me Amazon.

I placed 5 orders on Amazon while I was in Hyderabad, I was sick home and having lunch their delivery man came and asked me to come down to collect the parcel, I requested him to come to upstairs as I am having lunch right now also I have mentioned my door address (3rd floor) so deliver it there, He refused so I said please come on 3rd floor or don't deliver at all.
He marked all 5 parcel as delivered, I contacted amazon and they said they will look into this. In evening I went out and saw my Parcel it was inside another amazon box outer box was damaged but everything else looked normal so i went out and while on my way back I took it upstairs, to my shock there were only 4 parcels. I am missing 1 parcel!!! I raised request with amazon to look into it. They are asking for almost a week to investigate it? why is that?
also they way the spoke doesn't sound reasonable it was like they don't care at all

and again the next day I was supposed to receive shoes, this time same delivery man refused again to come upstairs but this time OTP was required to deliver so he just simply cancelled it

again this lady (Kalpana M) on Amazon said I should mention like 3rd floor even when apartment 30X is mentioned she was super rude, I felt like she was not even trying to help

Good Service with Room for Improvement

I had a mostly positive experience with Amazon.in's service. The delivery was fast, and the packaging was secure, ensuring my order arrived in perfect condition. The customer support was responsive and helpful when I had a query about my order.

However, there is some room for improvement. At times, tracking updates were delayed, making it hard to know the exact status of my package. Additionally, the return process, while smooth, could be a bit quicker.
Overall, Amazon.in provides reliable service, and I’ll continue using it, but a few minor refinements would make it even better.

Hopeless Amazon India . Zero rating.

Hopeless.
Saga continues.

Were supposed to pick up return parcel . Waited from 7am till 8pm and was told pick up cancelled.

Contacted customer service, was told , will need further investigation. Usual delaying tactic. Then another said return activated and wait again from 0700-2200hrs tomorrow.

I have no faith in Amazon India, having wasted 3-4 days waiting for pick up to be cancelled at last moment.

Now they Wat investigation and wait till 11/03/25.I told I won't contact them again. Cancelled all my planned purchase as I do not have any trust Amazon India.

BE WARNED .

RIP Amazon INDIA

I am an Amazon customer in the UK and UAE. 90% of my shopping is done via Amazon only. I mistakenly thought Amazon India also had the same standard, and it's my fault. Amazon India does not meet Amazon ethics and standards that we have in the UK and UAE. I bought Pista from Amazon, paid 1 KG, and received only 500 GM. I provided all the evidence to Amazon India, but their customer service just avoids providing the information or details OR taking any actions. I am sure customers are still getting ripped off on the same product, but Amazon -- I am not going to care. Officially, I am taking them to court now to give some more advertisements on the standards and ethics.

Worse than abysmal customer service

Drivers leaving parcels on doorstep in full view, not safe place and not knocking on door leading to parcels stolen on numerous occasions. Each time after spending ages trying to reach anyone, the call ops in India are absolutely clueless. Always scripted responses asking me to repeat the problem multiple times. They do not care. This time in 40 mins they put me through to 6 different agents, all of who could not pronouce my simple british name, could not understand the problem, could not provide a solution and could not escalate. All of them said..i am sorry maam, this will not happen again, I will help you and get this resolved, before passing me through to someone else to go back through it all again! . I gave up. This is the 3rd time I have had to deal with these idiots. Why are companies using them? I know they are cheap but they are truly a waste of resources and time. I don't want to have to speak very, very slowly and repeat myself ten times to some op with a thick Indian accent calling themself Mary or Dave! Won't be renewing membership. It isn't worth the hassle.

Horrible AMAZON experience

This has never happened at Amazon and i am appalled at their worsening quality of service. I had ordered a cage for my pet on 17.08.2024. as i would be outstation for a month and it was an urgent need for me.It was promised to be delivered on 23.08.2024. But from the tracking details it could be well understood that the item would not reach me by then, as it was hardly showing any movement. For this reason I tried to contact Amazon customer support, and all i could reach was the bot for communication, which provided with no solutions actually. When finally the product did not reach me, they started apologising, as if that would solve it. What service is then if they can just tell. When you are seeing item not moving, work on that instead of apologies. And if customer cannot contact on real time need then what kind of support you are providing you think? It was a horrible experience, and my pets are having to suffer because of this.

Amazon India - Cheating Customers

Worst Experience Ordering through Amazon (Order No - (407-8956925-8573122) - They have delivered a product which is not working - ordered chain saw - worked for 2 times - then stopped working - cannot replace - no reimburstment - very pathetic experience . Amazon cheating customers by selling low quality products . Please never buy through amazon - they will cheat you . They hide your reviews . Manipulators

Billing twice, no refund…

I hve been an old customer shopping regularly using two mobile numbers. On March 29th I had 8 or 9 things in the cart, all kids items, for my grandchildren. I tried to pay 5000 plus for all the items together, the transaction didn't go through. So i decided to pay for each item separately. The items were delivered in the next 7 -8 days. On 11th April I received my credit card statement and I discovered the payment of 5000 was also debited and all the payments for individual items were also debited. So i had paid double the amount. I tried to complain. But there is no customer care number, no call back request, chat bot is through an app doesn't give you an option of double payment etc. i wrote an email and the reply says we don't deal with this,.....
The customer care numbers are only available for US purchases and if I call from India I am expected to pay for an international call.
Customer care is just impossible to reach, doesn't serve any purpose in India.

Nothing received

Does anyone know what happened to my orders quoted below? I called the courier, who doesn't answer, I chatted several times with Amazon customer service, and I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING.

Please, note that this is a guest house open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so the recipient is never absent. No one at the reception has seen the courier for these deliveries.
The customer service tells lies very kindly, and that's all. Today the Amazon delivery telephone line says that there are no deliveries for me (!) Ridiculous people, change jobs!

Worst Experience with Amazon

I bought Real Me NARZO N53 mobile on 5th November by paying ths requisite amount. On 8th November, the local Delivery Agent of this Great Great company calls me at 9:45 pm from the ground floor of my 3 storeyed apartment asking me to come downstairs if I want the product! Wow! I asked him to come upstairs which he strongly denied. First time in my 12 year experience with Amazon that a delivery agent asks the customer to come downstairs instead of delivering the product at the doorstep.
So I had to go downstairs, which I did. The name of this delivery agent was King Jayendra sinh Jadeja. By the time I went downstairs this king disappears!! Wow2!!
Then he goes ahead and cancels my order all by himself. Wow3! I write 3 emails to the company regarding this but the company neither takes any damage control action nor replies me back. Wow4!!
A Customer support executive calls me from Amazon on 15th November and asks me to place the same order again, apologizing for my inconvenience. So I place the order again on 15th. Once I have done that, I call amazon and mention that this Delivery agent of theirs the Great King Jayendra sinh Jadeja should not come to my place for Delivery.
Despite this, the same guy turns up on 23rd November and checks my exchange instrument. It is in perfect shape but as expected this outlaw arrogantly tells me that it is damaged!! Wow5!!He tells me that he is ready to take my product and that he will come back in 5 minutes. He doesnt come back after 3 hours.

In short, Amazon.in has gone from bad to worse now. It's one of the worst B2B companies of India now. Shame on it. Total shame on its rude, deaf and arrogant Customer Care Executives and its attitude struck Delivery Agents. Totally THIRD GRADE COMPANY - AMAZON INDIA.

This company is fraud. I had purchased a mobile phone which I returned because it was a defective product. Now as per return policy I should get my money back but they did not return my money. The customer service upto managerial level are all illogical. They are goons. The refund which I was supposed to get to my bank account has been kept in Amazon pay wallet which I can not transfer to my bank. Now according to them, you have ro use the amount on Amazon. What is the logic? Why will you dictate me where I have to spend my money? Now I am looking forward to drag them in court!! Seee you there.

Pathetic Service received from Amazon

Pathetic Service received from Amazon. My product was supposed to be delivered on 16th Feb but they cancelled my order with incorrect reason.
On 16th Amazon Delivery guy gave excuse that product could not be delivered due to flat tire. 2nd day excuse by delivery guy that it was not assigned to him but another Delivery guy. 3rd Day excuse by delivery guy that since my address is not within his route product was returned back to Delivery center.
After contacting customer support & receiving assurance from them that product would be delivered by 11.30pm today ie 18th.
But at last the product was never delivered and cancelled by Amazon with following reason- Damaged during transit.
It surprising that product was identified damaged even without delivering & unpacking. And now Amazon is asking me to place a new order but I cannot avail the offer i had selected while placing the initial order.
This is absolute unfair for customer due to Amazon fault.
Never expected such Pathetical, Bad Service from Amazon

I had ordered a ganesha idol and it is showing as delivered whereas I have not received it. Now when I chatted with the customer service team I asked for a call back. When that person called me, she said that i will have to wait for 3 days. When I asked her the reason she said I will receive a call back from the seller which did not make any sense as the problem is with the delivery agent. I tried explaining her that but then she could not understand. When I asked her for a refund she said it has been initiated but I have not got any message or anything
