So far my experience of using the app…
So far my experience of using the app and business account has been amazing! I am shocked by how simple this makes keeping records and receipts without me needing to do much at all. I’ve used larger accounting software programs before but if anything they were too complivated and detailed. The Amaiz app covers the basics with everything I need without feeling like I need a degree in accoutancy!

They froze my account because they…
They froze my account because they wanted more info from me, which was duly supplied in 24 hours.
Six weeks later, no reply and account still frozen.
Then I had the misfortune of the most pathetic, abrasive customer "service".
Never properly replied to my complaint either.
Avoid.
EDIT: As you can see from the inappropriate, canned response below, they really do not care about prospective customers. As they are not a bank, they are not regulated in the same way and there is practically nothing the Ombudsman can do.

Opened a business account
Opened a business account - account could not have the business' name on it. Closed account - less than ten minutes after joining.
Customer services very vague and without clear details regarding timescales. Very disappointing.
Do not waste your time.

My husband just recently opened this account and money has been stopped. Can’t pay my staff my suppliers my rent. Now there asking for documents which he has sent them. My point is why not ask for all this before opening the account like normal companies. Am starting to think it’s a scam.

I’ve been with Amaiz for a long time
I’ve been with Amaiz for a long time, and while I have had a few issues in the past I have recently had some fraudulent activity which Amaiz were quick to deal with. I got a refund in good faith on the same day. The lady in the fraud team who dealt with my call was very polite and friendly.

I’ve banked with Amaiz for more months than I can remember and yes I admit I’ve had a few little hiccups along the way - BUT their Customer Services in particular the Fraud Section have always ‘gone that extra mile’ to put me at ease and regain my confidence to bank on line. They’ve refunded the payments taken fraudulently without delay for which I am very grateful. Certainly the telephone advisors that I have dealt with have been compassionate and caring.
