The engineer who came earlier this week - Ben - was 5 star, and also two of the senior office staff - Claire and Louis - the same. However the two visits for the diagnosis of the problem some weeks earlier by a different member of staff were certainly below par with conflicting information given and an incorrect diagnosis. Also I experienced the attitude of a third senior staff member as unpleasant and somewhat intimidating to say the least.

Always good to deal with, prompt in answering questions and efficient in all the work they do.

The work was completed successfully with no problems.

Received a call from this company. They told me that they'd sent a technician in 2023 and that they wanted to send another for a "free checkup" of my parents' solar panels.

Nobody has been to check on the panels since they were first installed, so this was a blatant lie. When pressured on the point, the caller became defensive and claimed to be able to add the panels to some sort of government database if my parents accepted their offer of a "free" checkup.

It seems they had purchased a customer list from a previously liquidated solar panel installation firm. The caller outright lied in order to try and get their "free" checkup service accepted by my parents. We all know the "free" service will lead to chronic damage being discovered and, thus, a huge bill.

They've been reported to both Ofcom and the ICO.

Very impressed with the service received from the Technicians James and Ben. An ongoing problem required a number of visits from them. They were always pleasant and explained what they were doing to try and resolve the issue, patiently trying a number of possible solutions. A new inverter finally fixed things and they seemed as pleased as I was. A pair of really nice, knowledgeable guys. Thanks to them.

Being a pensioner they were very understanding and they allowed me to pay for my inverter in monthly instalments

I was very impressed with Kevin and Tom in the way they treated me and explained things fully and in an easy to understand manner. Tom appreciated my predicament and was able to sort out a mutually beneficial result.

Bought batteries for existing solar system, engineer turned up after batteries and control unit delivered, installed in a few hours. Found a big saving so bought 2 more following year, always great advice and communications.

Had solar panels fitted by these guys they were professional from start to finish always there to answer the phone no messing about would 100% recommend

Can't praise them enough from start to finish. My elderly parents had been left in the lurch by another company. The poor Alternative Eco solutions engineer even got a shock from the system, and it could have caused real damage. The Alternative Eco Solutions team came in and fixed everything with good humour, calmness and real professionalism, especially the two James' and especially after one of them received a shock. They have gone a long way to giving my mother peace of mind, and they have been extremely helpful and sensitive in a difficult time for our family. Five stars is not enough. Thank you.

I would Strongly recommend Alternative Eco Solutions to anyone considering a solar energy installation. Prompt and efficient company. The work that was required was carried out with friendly and knowledgeable people. We can honestly say that this company is excellent.

The fitters rang in advance to confirm arrival and willingly work late to complete fitting.. They were happy to answer any questions asked . The administration team were proactive, again confirming times and arranging timely delivery of equipment

The service was excellent, from the advice given to solve my solar edge soft ware error, about additional battery to expand the storage. Also a deep clean of my 16 solar panels.
The guys doing the work arrived with in the 2 hour time scale given me, having travelled over 150miles to get here.

Rang in regard to a problem I had with app regarding the power supply from my solar system, they quickly responded and diagnosed the power supply was too high and replaced the unit in the correct position and reset the inverter all working fine, they cleaned the panels and fitted mesh to stop pigeons roosting finely some peace, all done quickly and with no mess I wish more companies would be like this

The office staff are always polite and helpful. The installers are tidy and efficient - ecept when they leave a brush on the roof!!

The fault I had was dealt with very swiftly. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Explained what they were going to do and tidied up after they finished. I would recommend this company to everyone.

All my contacts with the Company whether by phone or in person have been dealt with by polite and knowledgeable people. The installers where polite, arrived on time,and were neat and tidy, removing all waste materials.The installation site was probably cleaner and tidier than before the installation!

James and his mate arrived on time letting us know when they were on their way. They were efficient and friendly and tidied up when they left.
