Imagine if anything happened to this poor cashier, the bank should close down then!!
Nearly €600 trapped in my bank account
Nearly €600 trapped in my bank account. Literally the most unhelpful, rude, arrogant members of staff I have ever encountered. The account has been frozen, three attempts to unblock it and still never seem to have enough paperwork to actually get my money out. Very frustrating and the UK division refuse to step in and help.

Terrible customer's service
Terrible customer's service. I had to wait on 4 occasions 30 minutes each time in a quee on the phone but yet they cannot fix the problem with my web banking. Their system cannot send me text messages for verification codes and as a result they have blocked my web banking. Despite me calling them several times, after verifying my ID, they cannot solve the issue.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Had to renew web banking password, the system never sent the email with the code and I got locked out for 24 hrs. The worst part is that the representatives basically tell you there's nothing they can do to help and say you just have to wait. It's become a real hassle using alpha bank. I have other accounts in other banks and never face these issues. Perhaps it's time I close my account .....

One star because there is no zero star. The once good CreditBank has turned out today to be a joke. Nothing can be done on the phone, they tell you to go to a brach. I asked them why I cannot check the account transactions through internet banking, they replied I cannot check beyond the last 18 months.
Μηδέν αστέρι δεν έχει γι΄αυτό σας δίνω ένα. Η παλιά Τράπεζα Πίστεως με την κάποτε καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση έγινε σήμερα ανέκδοτο. Δεν μπορώ να δώ τις κινήσεις του λογαριασμού για το έτος 2017, να ελέγξω δηλαδή αν η Εφορία μου επέστρεψε κάποια παράβολα, αλλά, λένε στην δήθεν τηλεφωνική εξυπηρέτηση, ότι πρέπει να πάω σε κατάστημα. Σοβαρά τώρα; να πάω σε κατάστημα, να χάσω 2-3 ώρες από τη δουλειά μου, για να δώ τις κινήσεις του λογαριασμού μου προ λίγων ετών; τότε για ποιο λόγο έχουμε intenet banking, μπορείτε να δώσετε μιά απάντηση;

I have been experiencing significant issues with Alpha's web banking service. The authentication codes take an inordinate amount of time to arrive on my phone, even when using the Viber app that they force me to use. This is very frustrating.
I believe that the issues with Alpha's web banking service are due to incompetent personnel, outdated IT infrastructure, or a cheapo implementation of their authentication system. Additionally, I find it suspicious that they force you to install a third-party chat app (Viber), which leads me to believe that they may have some sort of interest in the app.
Customers, especially those who live abroad, are advised to use a different bank.

Worst bank ever. They charge 5eur per month in order to maintain account. Shame to the CEO Mr Psaltis that try make earnings in weight of depositors.

Γράφει περιμένετε μη κλείσετε την εφαρμογή και μετά σε πετάει έξω μόνο του. Και πάλι από την αρχή.

Τουλάχιστον απάντησαν στο τηλέφωνο και μου είπαν απεγκατάσταση και ξανά εγκατάσταση. Το αποτέλεσμα το ίδιο.
Απαίσιο! Ποιο το νόημα λοιπόν να μας πλασάρουν δήθεν άνοιγμα λογαριασμού με 1-2 κλικ όταν Δεν μπορούν να το υποστηρίξουν τεχνικά. Πολύ απογοητευμένος

Useless customer service.
I saw an amount disappearing from my account, after days asking for an explanation i had to file a complaint. Only then someone really checked my issue and released the money.
The phone support is useless unless you speak greek. None of them knows basic knowledge of English language. The best they can say is “let me transfer you to a colleague who speaks English”, then they leave you hanging on the line for 30-40 minutes more, until you find someone who actually went to school.

If i could give minus stars i would!!! Worst bank i ever dealt with. Very unprofessional, customer service is non-existent and they don't ever answer the phone or just pick up and slam it down again immediately.

Arranged to have a new card as previous one expired. Happened to call a rep to check they ve got my new address in they system. No problem until then. Then the rep tells me there is going to be a 5€ charge everytime the card expires, I said no one notified me of this via email/app/call/text so if I hadn't called I wouldn't know. She replied that 'normally, you would call us anyway after we would have charged you to find out why we did so, thus I am letting you know beforehand'. This is called exceptional customer service, well done

Do avoid this bank - your money is not safe here
This bank is a joke. Rather put your money somewhere where it is safe. Our money went missing in this bank 3 month ago and we never got it back. No service and no apologies. Legal action necessary. We never heard such a thing.

I’m very dissatisfied with this bank. I had my debit card information stolen and saw I almost immediately that there was an illegal transaction online. I called Alpha and requested that they should cancel the transaction before the money was to be withdrawn. I even cancelled my card and blocked my online account to make sure of this. They told me that they couldn’t cancel the transaction until the money was actually withdrawn and only then I would would have to go through a procedure which would take up to 40 days to see if I could claim it back! They also requested I do this in person at one of their branches. After getting a new card I tried to unblock my online account but to my dismay I was told I had to visit a branch for that as well! Mind you, their banks close at 14:00 and with their limited staff you end up waiting up to an hour to get served. If you work during the mornings you are basically screwed. It’s been a month and I’m still unable to unblock my account due to the very limited help I can get online or via phone. It’s 2022 and this service takes me back years and years ago.
Short story, it’s been about a month and NO money back yet. My account still blocked because I don’t have the time to go to their bank in person. No apology on their part or any other solution that might make things easier.
Very bad and annoying
Tried to make a simple transaction and failed (same transaction I have made before without problem). There was a message "please provide correct depositor details". Everything was correct, nothing changed. I contacted customer service, which was a joke, they transferred my to 4 different employees with long waiting time and finally I didn't have more time to wait so I had to hang up, without having my problem solved.
