J’ai loué une voiture kia sportage avec 66000 km en février et dès les premiers jours, le tableau de bord signalait des problèmes de pression des pneus. Malgré mes passages répétés en station, le problème persistait. Le loueur m’a simplement conseillé d’aller chez un garagiste, qui m’a confirmé que les pneus dataient de 2023 date de sortie ils et étaient très usés, donc dangereux.
Le lendemain, un pneu a éclaté en pleine ville. Après avoir mis la roue de secours, le loueur m’a facturé 2300 dirhams pour la réparation, alors que l’état des pneus était clairement de sa responsabilité.
👉 Attention : refusez toute voiture avec des pneus usés dans cette agence, même si on vous dit que tout est en ordre. Ils n’hésitent pas à faire payer les clients pour des défauts d’entretien.
Il se font plaisir sur votre caution et franchise ATTENTION
Un vrai vol organisé ! Voiture récupérée sans problème avec moins de caractéristiques que notre réservation mais c’était pas si grave ! Pourboire laissé et nous avons règlé le parking.
Voiture réfrigérée avec +’du double de l’essence et 6!jours plus tard,100 dhs prélevés, on se renseignant, il m’indique frais de parking pour ticket perdu ! Or le ticket, on lui a bien montré laissé dans la voiture à l’aéroport. Aucune facture ni justificatif! Il répond plus aux appels. Un vrai vol. Assurez vous de ne pas être prélevé à tort!

Booked a car from Sofia airport on arrival went through a lot of paperwork and then we was given a car. Looking around the car look fine few marks here and there I drove the car to my destination enjoyed my holiday. Didn’t have any problems with the car took the car back and when they came to inspect the car it looked like they knew what they was looking for on a particular part of the car as they went straight to it, which looking back was a little bit strange the Mark that they look for was right underneath the car. The mark was no longer than 1 inch and probably the thickness of a match stick and after that he went straight to the front of the car looking for something in particular and there was a mark underneath the car. This was probably about 4 inches long same again same thickness they wanted to charge £2400. I think they know about these marks on the car. On the unexpected person this will not be seen I would like to see how many claims that cause had on bodywork please please please avoid this car company. Go somewhere else. This may come up as the cheapest but in the end it will be the most expensive.
STOP right here! Avoid like the plague, we have been travelling to BG for 18 years and never ever had a problem with car hire like this Company Alma! Deposit wow 2K on my visa, seats were terrible stained, washer spray did not work the whole week was an ablsolute nightmare in the middle of winter with no water, tyres were spinning in snow 24-7, we have a house car is garaged over night we drove 24 Euros worth of petrol from Sofia to Samokov so didnt do a great lot of milage, took the car back yesterday for them to say its damaged underneath?? when we arrived we took a video of the car and all the damage didnt go underneath so we didnt have a leg to stand on, i think they are scammers trying to pull fast ones and making cliams on damage underneath the cars which you cant even see. Hand on heart this car was driven by my husband the full 7 days and we did not have any trouble with it drive over anything to cause damage underneath. Please read reviews about this company, if i had read them before i booked i would have not used them. We have 14.5K followers on our website and trust me i will be making them all aware of Alma! Thank you for your reply however you was not happy to help when we were in your office, just because I have wrote a negative review you want to help? I do t think so……. Your service is shocking just accept it

We had a terrible experience with this car rental company and strongly advise against using them.
We were offered a rental car with completely worn-out tires, with almost no tread left, despite explicitly needing the vehicle to drive through the Atlas Mountains. This was not only irresponsible but dangerous.
On top of that:
• The car was from a smaller category than what we had booked and paid for
• The vehicle was extremely dirty
• When we raised our concerns, no replacement car was provided
As a result, we were forced to rent a car from another rental company at four times the price, just to continue our trip safely.
The quality of the vehicles and the level of service are unacceptable. This company shows no sense of responsibility toward customer safety or basic customer care.
Very poor quality, very poor service. Do not recommend.
During my rental, I noticed that when I tried to adjust the air vents, three small pieces came off. It was clear they were already broken when I received the car, though I regret not reporting this immediately. I returned the vehicle in the same condition in which I picked it up.
Today, I noticed a $218 charge on my credit card. When I contacted Alma/Mira Car team for an explanation and a receipt, I was told that no receipt had been issued yet and that one would be created and sent to me.
Mi esposo tuvo una experiencia realmente horrible con esta empresa de alquiler de coches. Desde el principio, el servicio fue muy deficiente y nada profesional. El coche que le entregaron estaba sucio, con olores desagradables y daños visibles que no aparecían en el contrato.
El mayor problema fue con el servicio de atención al cliente, que es simplemente inaceptable. Cuando mi esposo intentó llamar para informar de los problemas, colgaron el teléfono varias veces o simplemente no contestaban. Incluso cuando lograba hablar con alguien, no ofrecían ninguna solución real y se limitaban a dar excusas vacías.
El proceso de devolución también fue muy mal gestionado, con intentos de cobrar por daños antiguos y sin ningún tipo de transparencia. En general, esta empresa demuestra una falta total de profesionalismo, seriedad y respeto hacia el cliente.
No recomendamos bajo ningún motivo alquilar un coche aquí. Hay muchas compañías mucho más confiables y responsables. Esta fue, sin duda, una de las peores experiencias de alquiler que hemos tenido.
Booked through Zest not direct on collection was busy 2 lads doing handover checking veichle with my husband and there was many scratches which he was having to ensure the lads wrote down did then not receive a copy of this just contract/terms & conditions took photos.
Returning car is where it all goes wrong accused of a dent which was not there i believe when the older guy quickly went round side of car while we were stood at the desk made the dent.
He said if we booked direct this wouldn't of happened and charged us €200 we paid otherwise would miss flight.
Booked full insurance through Zest so hopefully covered but sadly still fighting to get money paid back.
Will be not using either companies again.
Der Schalter war dank der Beschreibung gut zu finden.
Es befanden sich 3 Personen in der Vermietung allerdings hatte wahrscheinlich nur 1 Person Dienst, da die anderen keine Anstalten machten unsere Daten aufzunehmen.
Dadurch entstand eine Wartezeit von über 45 min obwohl nur ein weiterer Kunde vor uns war.
Wir hatten einen Mittelklasse Kombi gebucht und auch erhalten. Ein Ford Focus mit 106.000km Laufleistung, das Fahrzeug war innen wie auch außen stark abgenutzt und hatte im Innenraum einen strengen Geruch.
Das Fahrwerk war komplett abgenutzt, wo durch das Fahrzeug ein gefährliches Fahrverhalten und keinerlei Federungskomfort mehr aufwies. Nachdem ich die Scheibe (innen) und die Scheinwerfer gereinigt habe, konnten wir nachts auch etwas auf der Straße erkennen.
Da ich die Fahrzeuge in Griechenland bereits kenne ist dies aber nicht der Hauptgrund meiner schlechten Bewertung, sondern folgender Fakt:
Bei der Rückgabe war derselbe Mitarbeiter vor Ort der uns den Wagen auch vermietet hat, er kam aus der Vermietung lief zielstrebig zum rechten Kotflügel uns sagte Problem.
Wie bereits geschrieben gab es an dem Fahrzeug kaum Stellen die nicht zerkratzt, zerbeult oder mit Spraydosen nachlackiert waren. Bei der Übergabe wurden schon trotz mehrfacher Hinweise meinerseits nicht alle Mängel in das Protokoll aufgenommen, was der Anzahl der Mängel geschuldet auch gar nicht möglich gewesen wäre.
Als ich Ihn darauf ansprach, was das Problem sei, zeigte er mir einen Kratzer unten am Kotflügel und sagte der sei neu.
Ich konnte mir das Lachen nicht verkneifen, musste aber schnell feststellen das es dem Herrn tot ernst war, er holte das Übergabeprotokoll aus seiner Tasche (eine Kopie wurde mir übrigens nicht ausgehändigt) und sagte der Schaden sei nicht vermerkt.
Auch nach längerer Diskussion und dem Hinweis das er den Schaden einfach nicht notiert hat, ließ er sich davon nicht abringen und sagte er könnte sich genau darin erinnern das der Kratzer an dieser Stelle nicht vorhanden war.
Was bei dem Zustand des Wagens eine geistige Höchstleistung wäre.
Zu meinem Glück hatte ich das Fahrzeug komplett bei der Abholung fotografiert und die betroffene Stelle war gut sichtbar. Als ich Ihm die Bilder zeigte, war das Thema plötzlich erledigt und die Kaution wurde nach 3 Tagen wieder von meinem Konto gelöscht.
Für mich ein eindeutiger Betrugsversuch, um die Kaution einzustreichen und daher auf keinen Fall eine Weiterempfehlung für Alma Car Hire auf Kreta!
We booked a hire car through Alma for our 9-day holiday in Essaouira. As we had flown into Marrakesh and our villa was a 2.5hr journey away, we wanted to make sure the 5 of us (3 adults/2 children) were comfortable and safe. So we had booked an Elite SUV with a child’s booster seat and a full child seat. The example vehicle shown at the time of booking was a Kia Sportage (or similar), which set a clear expectation of size and suitability for travelling with young children and luggage.
Upon arrival, however, the car allocated to us was not a Kia Sportage or a comparable vehicle. It was smaller, with a lower boot height that made it difficult to fit our luggage and an adult between the two child seats in the back. Alma say the car was a comparable to the Sportage but we don’t believe this to be the case. It wasn’t an SUV, so the height of the car was an issue and the boot space. Although we eventually managed to make everything/one squeeze into the car, the real issue arose with the child seat.
The seat provided had a broken buckle, which the staff member confirmed. We were told a replacement seat was being collected and would arrive shortly. After waiting more than 30 minutes, we were then informed that the seat had been stolen and that we would need to drive into Marrakesh city to collect another one - an entirely unreasonable suggestion given that we had no safe way to secure our child in the car.
Eventually, another seat was brought to us, but it was in extremely poor condition and actually missing a buckle completely. At that point, the situation had become unacceptable. The standard of service we received was diabolical, and I found it astonishing that a company operating in this market could deliver such unsafe and unprofessional service.
We walked away from the car and have since requested our deposit back. However, Alma has replied saying the car seat could have been used temporarily to drive and collect a third seat from the office in the city. This is a ridiculous suggestion given how unsafe the roads are.
If I was a family travelling into Marrakesh, I would avoid Alma cars at all costs.

Rented on sept 26 thru October 8 2025 Gave me a smaller car than ordered. It was an older model car. The brakes started making noises on our first day then got extremely worse. Had to trade cars in middle of our vacation. Returned car and he found scrape on car that was small and not serious and was probably there before rental. It felt like a setup and part of a scam. Charged $250 euros. They said they would send paperwork via email for my insurance work but didn’t.
The worst experience I’ve ever had – avoid Alma Rental Cars! Better to walk!
Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. The car we were given was dirty, almost out of petrol, and very old and worn out. Near the end of our holiday, the battery died, leaving us stranded. Although someone eventually came to fix it, they left a warning light on.
We lost a whole day of our trip and had to rely on taxis, yet Alma refused to reimburse us for the taxis or the day we couldn’t use the car. When they finally replaced the vehicle, they gave us a huge van instead of the small car we had originally booked.
To make matters worse, the customer service was awful – the woman on the phone was rude, unhelpful, and refused to let us speak to a manager.
Do not use Alma Rental Cars! Save yourself the frustration and go with a reputable company.

We arrived in Crete late and it was dark. Despite booking a manual only automatics were available. They got a car from somewhere else.
The company then tried to charge us for a second driver until we showed them the booking information.
The guy made a big thing about taking photos so there was no argument later. We always do that anyway and took video. It was difficult to see in the poor light in the car park and cover the whole car. There were also so many scratches that it was hard to know where to start.
We’ve hired for many years in Greece and Spain and never had an issue. The car also had no fuel in at all. The guy had to tell us where to get fuel locally as it was on fumes. We put $30 euros in.
During the week holiday we did a few short trips and always were careful with the vehicle. We only used a 1/4 of a tank the whole week and left the vehicle with 1/2 a tank.
On returning the car this evening, the same guy who gave us the car also checked us back in. There was someone in front of us and the Alma guy made a cursory check around that vehicle which took a couple of seconds.
When it was our turn it was entirely different. He made a show of getting a torch out and going round the vehicle. Straight away he went to a scratch on the front door and front panel. It was as if he knew exactly what he was looking for. He told us it the scratch was new - it didn’t look new at all. Despite us arguing the case he charged us €300
Euros. We know we didn’t do this damage. The car had been in a private drive for the week. We didn’t see any damage that wasn’t there before.
Stitched up comes to mind. Don’t use this outfit - pay an extra €50 and use someone reputable. Avoid at all costs.

Hier nicht buchen! Bei der Abholung hat niemand wie im Voucher beschrieben auf uns gewartet. Wir hatten auch keine Kontaktdaten. Nach langer Wartezeit (über 1.5 Stunden) kam dann endlich ein Mitarbeiter für die Übergabe. Auf dem Weg hatten wir einen Reifendefekt und bei der Reparatur stellte sich heraus das der Reifen bereits geflickt wurde. Die übrigen Reifen waren allesamt in einem sehr schlechten und abgefahrenen Zustand. So ein Fahrzeug zu vermieten ist lebensgefährdend und eine absolute Frechheit.
Statt einer Entschuldigung bei der Abgabe wurden wir noch kritisiert wir hätten zu viel Geld für den neuen Reifen bezahlt.
Quick and efficient service, no hidden charges, car collection and drop-off were hassle free and hire charges were fair for a small SUV, exactly as we had reserved online from UK. We were looking for value for money, and felt that they delivered.
