Went to my local Aldi branch, opposite Wexford racetrack, this evening. I've never had reason to criticise it before. Yes, occasionally there's an issue or a stock shortage but staff without fail are helpful and polite... I'd definitely have recommended it, until this evening. I had a trolley full of goods but no checkouts were open. I was happy to go to a self service one, but had a case of 2litre water bottles that would have to have been split and scanned separately unless a staff member could help with their 'admin access'. I asked the assistant politely if she could oblige. She agreed but then walked off. Icould see she had other customers to assist so I scanned all the rest of my shopping and waited for her to return. No, she was now standing at the far end of the area doing nothing. I waved at her and asked again if she could please help (I also had some beers so needed to get approved too). I've no idea what I did wrong, but she stormed over, face like thunder, grabbed the case of water bottles, input whatever she needed, threw the bottles back in my trolley and stormed off again without a word! I wasn't rude, or demanding and came away from the store feeling upset and bemused!

I've spent around €400 a month in that branch for the last 4 years, but I won't be returning. We all have off days, but there's no need to take it out on the customers.

We got the vive cola drink and orange drink and it was absolutely bussing. And to finish off our crazy night we had cartwheels. Both 10/10 highly recommend

Purchased aldi compost for the fist time this year .nothing grew in this compost it was rubbish .been growing fruit and veg for thirty years never had problems.threw it all away.started again with someone else's compost ,back to 100% grow rate.will never use rubbish like this again.went to a garden centre for compost and it was the same price per litre.

U should have a choice of using a maned til or self service tills. I feel been pushed to use the self service til because I have a few items. This is not great service .
Ure prices have gone through the roof with alarming rises. And now I have scan my own shopping . I do not get paid for this . I shopped in also sinced it opened in. Mallow but no more and I'm not the only customer to leave .

I enjoy visiting Aldi in Carrick on Shannon, I thought, oh what a lonely experience especially if I wasn’t sure about a product but my last visit changed my experience for the better.I had a very informative and friendly two-way interaction with staff from Aldi and I promised to be back again and again…

Judt got a Good to go box really bad...2 large boxes mushrooms, 6 pkts ham, 1 sald pot,1 avocado...all items out of date today...who us gonna eat 2 x mushrooms and all that ham, ridiculous! Don't be doing Aldi again!

The self service tills don't work and there is noone to help. I'll be shopping elsewhere

I went to the Aldi store in Riverstown yesterday and was surprised to see a dog walking around the store "off the leash". I informed a member of staff twice but nothing was done. The dog was nosing around various food products. Definitely not hygienic.

Bought bbq pork fillet. 450g on packet. It weighted 300. I had a hungry family. Didn't have time to go to the store so I tried the online form 3 times. It wouldn't work. Sent an email that bounced back. Sent a message to their instagram which went unanswered. Terrible customer service.

Bought a packet of pre washed spinich 8/4/25 in aldi Cavan…went to cook…along with Prewashed spinish..the packet also had a DEAD….rotten…smelly.Snail…..
Contact aldi …sent video…of the DEAD rotten snail.
Response….this happens….with prewashed…….
Return to store to get a refund..
Which my wife did….with the spinich..n…rotten snail

And brought all to the Cavan aldi store/ manager..

So remember to Wash your Pre washed veg…and not rely on the impression…pre washed labelling….giving the impression of pre washed….sub text…checked..and clean…..
But may..no unusual..include a dead decomposed snail…..
Perhaps should…make sure to wash and avoid a dead rotten snail…

18/4/25…got a phone call from aldi customer care who (appeared) not to know much about the origin complaint….dead decomposed snail in the “ ready to eat” spinich….
Perhaps customer card should read up on why they rang….and perhaps resolve..

Very well kept shop and excellent staff in Dundalk Co. Louth. The New scampi is beautiful and we bought 6 bags of them. Well done to all.

Great shop. Great staff. But the prices are very high and are beginning to look like other supermarkets. Just came across scampi in the store, which I have been wishing for aldi to stock for years. Well done.

Asolutely no use customer service help, when eventually answered told me to contact an number in the UK that does not work ,so I now have a useless €39:99 specialbuy item and cannot get a code to return the item ,be careful and bear in mind when purchasing these items

Lovely staff, well organized shops. However keep putting your prices up and I'll just stick with Tesco for everything 👍. I've already started doing that.

Aldi Seatown Road stores in Swords have brilliant staff that go out of their way to help you. Pleasure shopping there. Genuinely pleasant staff. Shop there' regularly.

Visited Aldi Portlaoise this morning and hats off to them. They had the whole carpark cleared of snow. It was very safe.

I purchased Lacura Rejuvelate Day Cream SPF 30 approximately two weeks ago. It is in a Red Glass Jar. I have had a dreadful reaction to it. My cheeks and chin broke out in acne type bumps and my face went totally red like sun burn.

When I realised what may be the cause I stopped using this cream and after two days it is clearing up and cooling down. It is the only thing I have used out of the ordinary in the past two weeks.Others may be fine using this cream. Perhaps I have an unknown allergy to one of the ingredients. It quite definitely caused a dreadful problem for me so just be aware.

Unfortunately, I was sold a spoiled turkey on Christmas Eve, which ruined the family’s St. Stephen’s Day dinner.
I went specially on Christmas Eve, so the bird would be stored for as short a time as possible. I paid €50 for an outdoor-reared, free range bronze turkey. When I got up on St. Stephen’s morning and unwrapped it, the flesh was tacky, even a little slimy, and it smelled really unpleasant.
I tried roasting it anyway, wondering if it was just the plastic wrapping, but even cooked it smelled bad.
So, the whole thing had to go in the bin.
Such a waste, and a great disappointment for the family.

Went to Aldi in Terenure village was very bad experience I walked in with my friends and only after 2 minutes of t being there I was told to get out if I’m not buying anything l. It was ageism to the fullest. Going bad in right now to ask fro her name
