Everything went great until I opened it
Everything went great until I opened my moderator. After getting written confirmation via email from the AirGun Tactical Support/Sales team that the moderator I selected would get the threads on my gun I placed an order for the product. It was delivered and due to work overseas I was not able to open it for use until a couple months later. Upon opening I discovered the threads were not the correct size. I contacted AirGun Tactical for an exchange. They told me it was too far after the purchase date and there was nothing they could do. Then they said they would make an exception if I paid for shipping. Then when they gave me the return steps that added in that I would need to pay a 30% restocking fee.
For a “reputable” company who made an honest mistake I would have expected them to make an effort to correct it without the hoops and cost. Very disappointing, I wish I could just do an exchange for the correct size..

Austin, we’re happy to accept your return for a full refund and will waive all fees, as this was an honest mistake. The moderator you received is for a higher-caliber version of your rifle, which is why it doesn’t fit.
Normally, we have time limits for returns after delivery, but in your case we made an exception. We understand you’d prefer the correct model; however, the manufacturer is currently out of stock and it’s on backorder, so we’ll refund you instead.
The email you received was our standard return template and didn’t reflect the specifics of our conversation.

Good service, the slim Jim is a nice surprise in the package. My only small complaint would be it took 5 days for my order to ship out after i placed the order. But overall good service

I initially made a mistake when placing an order with Airgun Tactical and was concerned that I would just have to accept the loss and order again. NO !
I looked up their phone number on their website and called. In very short order they looked up my order and corrected my mistake, sending me what I wanted, not what I mistakenly ordered. They were kind and threw in an extended fill female Foster fitting as, unbeknownst to me, this add on required it.
So in contacting Airgun Tactical , not only did I get what I intended, I also got an adapter free which I was unaware I needed and they just gave it to me.
Exceptional service in my book.

Taxes On Merchadise
Tax. The tax is outrageous. I usually don't get charged for tax if ordering from out state.If I do get charged I'm good with that, which is 4.712% in Hawaii. Did not review complete order before placing order. Also, shipping packaging could have been better. Item arrived in good condition, but merchandise container was kinda beaten up.
Other than that, order received as described, and arrived in a timely manner.

Regarding tax: we charge sales tax in accordance with Texas state sales tax regulations. Many states (including Hawaii) now require out‑of‑state online sellers to collect tax once certain thresholds are met, so the rate you see is based on those rules rather than something we set arbitrarily.
On the packaging: we do our best to pack items securely, but we don’t control how carriers handle packages in transit. The product arrived in good condition, but we understand it’s frustrating to see a beaten‑up container. We’ll review your comments with our shipping team to see where we can improve padding and protection.

Pre-order is something new me. It first happened when I started getting into airguns. AirGun tactical does shipping right. Haven't used my GK 1 yet. Looks great!

Less than one star
Less than one star. Read all the one star reviews on this company. Like dealing with the feds on purchasing an air gun. After making many attempts to get the verification process to go through and multiple calls to no avail I ask for a refund. They respond by saying they are canceling not refunding in all caps, due to me refusing to verify the order. Also putting me on a do not sell to list.

Unfortunately, we can’t please everyone, and in this case we had to follow our fraud‑prevention policies. The order was placed using one person’s name and billing address, but requested to be shipped to a different name and address. In situations like this, we are required to verify that the actual cardholder authorized the transaction.
The customer declined to complete our ID verification and then requested a refund. We explained that there was no completed charge to refund — only a temporary authorization hold — and that we would void the authorization and cancel the order. The customer ultimately received 100% of their funds back when the hold was released.
Because this transaction was flagged by our system as potentially fraudulent and the customer refused verification, we will not allow further purchases under those mixed names/addresses. Our verification policy is in place to protect both cardholders and our business.

Great Launcher, One Problem, Poor Customer Service
The launcher is in almost every way fantastic. I do truly love the design, especially the power.
My negative notes are with regard to the 3-1 quick change assembly for the CO2 canister. I reported that I was having to press much harder than the instructions and the videos available suggest and that the puncture is weak, when I manage to make it happen. I wrote to AGT and was referred to MCS, where I was treated, I feel, somewhat dismissively despite bending over backwards to be courteous and even complimentary myself. The point is, the assumption was made that I was "being to gentle." Maybe that's true but it is a poor assumption. All I wanted was to be shipped a replacement assembly (the quick change cap, the whole 3-1) or if necessary I would even buy it if the warranty won't be honored. But I received no further responses from AGT and don't even want to try with MCS at this point.
