They suddenly charged my account for 50euro without my consent or anything. They never mention you accepting to a subscription or anything like that. Also you can not see the transaction information or anything on their site. This is fraud! I contacted my bank and hopefully I can get my money back.

IT'S A SCAM!!!!! You pay 1.25€ for one test. and then the trouble starts, and they charge your CC with bigger amounts

If you're seeing this charge, you probably never knowingly signed up for it. I didn't.

Persola Labs hosts personality tests, many of which people find at a vulnerable moment: tests for depression, ADHD and autism, for example. After the test, you're pushed through fake "skip the queue" offers while the report is deliberately delayed. By the time you reach the order form, you're not reading the tiny grey-on-white text that says you're subscribing to two products, Persola Labs and Persola AI.

Here's how it played out for me. The report was a letdown given the time I spent on the questions. A few days later, Persola Labs charged me £39.95. Support refused a refund on a technicality, so I cancelled.

Then Persola AI charged me £29.95. At no point did the support agent mention there was a second subscription still running. Cancelling one does not cancel the other.

That's almost £70 taken from someone who came looking for help and answers.

I'm reporting this to the FTC in the US, Trading Standards in the UK, and my MP, with full evidence.

It's a scam. Because you pay 0,50 for cutting the line you get another abbonement where you don't know the existence off.

So don't say yes to Persolabs AI-add and Persolabs and persolabs.org.

I had a quick look at this online, but clicked away as soon as I saw it was a paid-for thing. However, I have just had £29.95 taken from my bank account without me agreeing to anything at all! Disgusting and sneaky. I have raised a dispute with my bank.

confirming everyones comments here. personality test to monthly charges that actually never stop even though you get emails saying youve successfully cancelled them. literally going through it with my bank right now and i dont know how to just make it stop.

Scary! Stay away. As most people here say. They say the the test costs 2 euro, then they charge 50 (!!!!) and than 30 within hours. Then you find out you are subscribing, so you cancel and Get a confirmation you have cancelled the subscription but then they still try to debit money out of your account! And when you contact them, you get the answer: oh you have to do this. When you explain that you have unsubscribed from an illegitim service, they apologize and still try to debit money. Scam scam scam. Report them!

Scam took over £100 in 3 transactions gutted didn’t know I was in a subscription

I bought a single personality test on persolabs.org on 13 September 2026 for €1.25. Only afterwards, in a receipt reachable through a link in the confirmation email, did I discover that the purchase also included a separate subscription to Persolabs AI – free for 7 days, then €29.95 every 4 weeks, billed separately under this domain and requiring a separate cancellation.

Nothing about this second subscription appeared during checkout. It was not mentioned in the confirmation email itself, only in the linked receipt, below the main subscription terms.

I cancelled in time, so I was not charged here. The main subscription caught me: €49.95 was taken three days after the €1.25 purchase, with no reminder beforehand.

If you bought anything on persolabs.org, check the receipt link in your confirmation email and cancel this add-on separately at ai.persolabs.org slash cancel. Cancelling the main subscription does not cancel this one.

Beter niet mee in zee gaan… toch per ongeluk gedaan? Beide (persolabs & ai persolabs) gewoon even googelen meteen cancellen en dan hopen dat ze stoppen met geld innen.

Your company is using predatory practices against people with autism and ADHD, putting this “agreement” in a receipt (after you’ve already paid the price of $1.25) in tiny print and giving no other notice of taking card information. Symptoms of ADHD and autism may include lack of attention to detail, executive dysfunction (which may impair one’s ability to notice or respond appropriately to being overcharged by your company), forgetfulness (even if the charge was noticed), and disorganization (furthering this issue).
The format of hiding the charge “agreed” upon is intentional and manipulative to a disabled population, and deeply unethical.

Warning: SCAM SITE. I paid to take a single test on persolabs.org, and they deceptively enrolled me in a €50/month subscription. A few days later, they hit me with an additional €30 charge under ai.persolabs.org without my permission. Exercise extreme caution. I am officially filing complaints with consumer rights organizations (FACUA and OCU).

Scam!! Secretly charged me £60

Scammy company with recurring subscriptions to two different services hidden in the small print or email attachments that most people won't read. They won't refund you.

**I strongly recommend avoiding Persolabs.**

My experience with this company has been absolutely appalling.

After making an initial payment, I found myself being charged on an ongoing subscription basis. The subscription information was far from clear in my view, and although their own terms and conditions refer to customers being notified by email, I have been unable to find any such notification.

I have repeatedly tried to cancel and make it clear that I do not authorise further payments. Instead of meaningful customer service, I have received what appear to be automated or AI-generated responses, while further payment attempts have continued.

The situation has now become serious enough that I am disputing the transactions with Barclays.

What has been particularly concerning is that simply cancelling or replacing the payment card has not resolved the problem. Further payment attempts have continued, including through payment tokens, and after blocks have been put in place I have seen what appear to be attempts using different merchant identifiers.

I have retained copies of the correspondence, the terms and conditions, cancellation requests and payment records, and I am providing these to my bank as part of the dispute.

Trying to communicate with Persolabs has also been extremely frustrating. I have not been able to get a proper human response that meaningfully addresses the problem. Instead, I repeatedly receive generic scripted replies.

Based entirely on my personal experience, I would strongly advise people to think very carefully before giving this company their payment details.

I certainly would not use Persolabs again, and I would not recommend them

Sehr enttäuschend – Abbuchung trotz Kündigung

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von Persolabs AI. Ich habe mein Abonnement am 01.09.2026 gekündigt, trotzdem wurden mir am 08.09.2026 noch 29,95 € abgebucht.

Der Support behauptet, es handele sich um ein separates AI-Abonnement, das beim Checkout abgeschlossen worden sei. Ich habe jedoch kein separates, kostenpflichtiges Abo bewusst abgeschlossen.

Auf meine Bitte um Rückerstattung wurde lediglich auf die eigenen Geschäftsbedingungen verwiesen und eine Erstattung abgelehnt. Eine klare Erklärung bzw. einen konkreten Nachweis, wann und wie ich diesem separaten Abo zugestimmt haben soll, habe ich nicht erhalten.

Für mich ist das äußerst enttäuschend und intransparent. Ich kann Persolabs AI daher nicht empfehlen und würde jedem raten, die Zahlungsbedingungen beim Checkout sehr genau zu prüfen.

I unknowingly entered into a monthly subscription when making what I thought was a one-off payment.
I contacted PERSOLABS to cancel the subscription, following the instructions provided in their email.

Exactly one month later, they’ve attempted another payment, using the slightly different company name ‘ai.persolab.org’

Completely fraudulent and unethical! Disgusting company.

Awful, secretly sign you up to a subscription then keep charging even after canceling. Had to cancel my card and get a new one.
