I wasn't convinced I'd actually use this service when I first downloaded it, but it quickly became part of my routine. the cost feels fair considering how fast scans are how detailed the feedback is. It really feels like having a skin expert available anytime. I've already recommended it to several people.

Billing practices very suspect-- be careful--
The scan proved accurate- checked with my dermatologist here also-- but their billing practices border on fraud. I only wanted a one time check and somehow was bill for a one time and also a subscription. Be careful with these folks-- I wouldn't use again.

Please Beware of This Platform
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with AI Dermatologist. It is a confusing platform, and I was charged more than I expected. Their pricing structure is very unclear - so please be careful. I provided them with feedback after my first experience. Although they responded - they did not refund the extra charges (that were in addition to the service I used).
From a diagnostic perspective, I submitted three photos of the same lesion, and was given three different ‘suggestions’ as to what it might be.
Although this technology may one day be a helpful tool - this is both unhelpful and very expensive. Beware.

Terrible - don’t use
Terrible. Offers 3 scans for 4.99 and once I used Apple Pay immediately I got 2 charges for 7.99 & 14.99 (pdf) which I didn’t want or ask for. Then when i ask for a refund it’s all Ai generated responses. Awful!

If I could rate this a zero I would
If I could rate this a zero I would! Just paid for a one time diagnosis for 4.99 and immediately they added 17.99 without permission. Thats bad enough but other than claiming my grandmas open leg wound was “eczema” it basically told me to go to a doctor. This is a complete scam.
The companies response below this is clearly insufficient as I, and many other reviewers, can attest that the additional purchase was not indicated clearly anywhere on the website and was not shown at checkout. This is incredibly deceptive and must stop.

Scammed out of over $20 for NOTHING
I broke out with a vicious rash and as it was the weekend I hoped AI deermatologist would be able to help figure out what it was. I paid the $4.99 for the bogus diagnosis (instead of picking up on the numerous blisters all over the picture I took, it focused on a tiny nevus and that's what it "diagnosed.") Then I suddenly got charged $17.99 in addition to the $4.99. No explanation. I contacted customer support and they claim that I ordered an additional product, which I did not, and that I authorized the transaction, which I did not. What can I say: they make false promises, steal from you, then call you a liar when you call them out. Stay away.
PS: There was no second page with additional products offered. I was upset enough to pay $4.99. Why would I want to add another $20 for a PDF which by the way, I apparently paid for but never received. The response is via AI so don't hope to get anyone to respond. Just stay away from this website. They scam you.

Die standardisierte Antwort des Unternehmens auf die Beschwerden ist Schwachsinn - man bestellt eine Einzeluntersuchung, autorisiert $4,99 und sobald man auf den Link zum Ergebnis klickt hätte man automatisch zusätzlich $17.99 autorisiert.
Das ist gezielte Irreführung und auch so gewollt. Die Vielzahl der Beschwerden spricht für sich.

Unauthorized charging and The diagnosis was not reliable
The diagnosis was not reliable, furthermore I took a « free » subscription and bought a 4.99 $ one shot result and was charged another 17.99$ for which I did not give authorizations…for getting a PDF! It is not clearly indicated that you are charged to have access to this PDF. I paid with Apple Pay and only accepted once the payment for 4.99 $, and did not accept another payment which was nonetheless charged. There is a problem there! Looking more closely, the 17.99$ payment bill was slightly different from the authorized one. And of course no refund.
Bad commercial practice.

I agreed to pay $7.99 for a one-time evaluation of a rash. They charged me $7.99 plus $14.99 for a subscription I didn’t authorize. I’m a senior citizen on SS. Please beware of this company. BTW the diagnosis they provided was that I have a skin rash.

Total Scam! Avoid.
This is an absolute scam! I took a service with you which I thought was $4.99 to analyse one picture. This was charged to my card as I expected but then immediately after another charge went on of $17.99. I queried it and got a standard email telling me that they would not refund. The report was entirely inaccurate, looked like it had been produced by a child, and would’ve already have been a waste of money even at $4.99. I contacted my credit card, put a stop on any further payments they may steal off my account, and lodged this one as a dispute as it was clear from their email that there would be no point in continuing further discussion.
UPDATE - Anyone who is in any doubt about this filter the reviews to the one star and see what every one else has to say. Are we all wrong? Did we all not notice this ‘clearly displayed’ charge?
