AffordableArt.com is a new space dedicated to helping you find extraordinary, beautiful, original artworks for your home. Reflecting the same ethos as our sister brand, Affordable Art Fair, our aim is to democratise the art world and empower people who have never purchased art before to do so, because we believe everyone should be able to own art.
It was with this aim of making contemporary art accessible to everyone that Will Ramsay founded the Affordable Art Fair in 1999. Since then, our fairs have introduced thousands of people to the pleasure of collecting quality contemporary art in a fun, inspiring and informative environment.
In 2017 we introduced our online marketplace, connecting art lovers with over 200 galleries around the world, 365 days a year. After 5 years of growth, at the start of 2022 we embarked on a new chapter as we moved our online marketplace to its own site, establishing AffordableArt.com and marking the beginning of an exciting new venture.
With over 30,000 original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints available to buy today priced between £50-£6,000, our online marketplace makes choosing original, contemporary, extraordinary art for your home easy.

Good first experience
I had some trouble obtaining a first-time buyer discount code for my purchase. The support staff were prompt in their assistance and the transaction went smoothly.
This is the first time I am buying art online and was apprehensive about the actual artwork turning out to be different to what I expected in its scale. But it was not so at all! Artwork arrived within reasonable timeframe (I’m based in Singapore and it took 2 weeks) and the artwork arrived well protected, and just as I had envisioned. I’m happy with the experience!

The experience depends on which gallery…
The experience depends on which gallery your art is with. Out of 3; I have had 1 good experience, 1 ok and 1 poor. I am yet to receive my art from the latter 2, despite ordering a couple of weeks ago. I had to substitute my order with one because they'd sold what I wanted already. Another hasn't even messaged me.

Just like many other small businesses, here at Affordable Art we strive to make purchasing artworks online seamless and are saddened that in this instance this is not the case. As we are an online marketplace, all artworks sold are dispatched either directly from the gallery or artist, and we do rely on them to keep their stock up to date, and provide timely correspondence as to the progress of your order.
We do however apologise for the negative customer experience you have encountered, and take full responsibility for any confusion or stress caused - I do hope this does not discourage you from using Affordable Art again in the future.
