Aeyde Henry boots are amazing

Henry boots exceeded my expectations. They look better than on pictures which is a rare case. Design is absolutely delightful. The quality of manufacturing is impressive. My wife said that they are really comfortable straight out of the box what is not standard for pull-on boots. They cheered het up after the terrible experience with Fairfax and Favor Explore boots.

Bezahlte Ware nicht erhalten

Ware per Kreditkarte bezahlt, Ware nicht erhalten (821721210336463510). Lt. Kundenservice sollte die Sandale bereits am 11.08.24 (Sonntag!!!) ausgeliefert worden sein. Bis heute (17.08.24) habe ich jedoch noch nichts erhalten. Auch ist unklar, welches Unternehmen ausgeliefert hat…DHL, Hermes, etc.? Sehr ärgerlich!!!!!

I used to love Aeyde but my last two…

I used to love Aeyde but my last two pairs of shoes has been unwearable - like cut up the feet painful and my latest loafers make a noise with every step! Just not worth the price for such uncomfortable shoes!

Not worth the price

Ordered my first pair from Aeyde, the Giselle leather toe post sandals. Was disappointed at the quality of the work done. The insole’s edges were stitched, but was certainly just glued onto the shoe. Some edges of the insole were lifted/lifting when I first opened the package, and I could see the glue inside which was obviously not enough to keep the insole in place. They should have stitched the insole in place so that the edges would not be lifting off the shoe. Considering their price, I thought the quality would be better. I have real leather Zara heels with better finishing than this.

I unfortunately ordered this through a third party courier as I live in Asia, so I will not be able to return it, but would definitely return it otherwise.

Vor einer Woche habe ich eine…

Vor einer Woche habe ich eine Bestellung für Schuhe aufgegeben und mit Mastercard bezahlt. Aufgrund von Währungsdifferenzen wurden zu den hohen Versandkosten 15€ zusätzlich 13€ in Rechnung gestellt. Mehrmalige Anfragen, wann die Ware geliefert wird, blieben ohne Antwort und liefen ins Leere. Eine Telefonnummer gibt es nicht. Meine Erfahrung:unseriös!

Customer services non existent

I have twice written to Aeyde to ask for help with a pair of shoes that I bought last year. In short, I bought a pair of the Uma flats and whilst I was initially happy with them, after approx. six months of wear (and obviously not worn every day or in the rain) they have a hole in the bottom. I'd expect six YEARS wear at least for the money they cost. I'd save your money and go to M&S or Clarks. I've had New Look shoes that lasted longer. I wouldn't mind if someone from the company could explain why this was the case or gave some advice. But all I've received is a cold, stony silence. I wouldn't buy from them again for this reason.

Update:

Only after writing this review did Aeyde respond (are you surprised?). And after a "review with the team" (read: 30 second dismissive chat), they have decided I should take my shoes to a cobbler. Nice one! I should have thought of that...How silly of me. Except...I shouldn't be covering the cost of this - the shoes are significantly damaged after only pavement walking, and occasional at that as I live in London (rain, cold - these shoes aren't suitable for every day use). Their suggestion also: I have walked on a sharp stone. How silly of me to have missed that too! Walking on a massive, sharp stone. I must have a very low pain threshold.

Don't bother with these shoes buyer. Go to By Far, somewhere like this. They really last.

A very happy customer

Just bought a pair of ‘Jack’ boots, bought them a size bigger so that I could wear thick winter socks with them. Super comfortable from day one.

Horrible Return Directions…Just bought a pair of shoes and would…

Just bought a pair of shoes and would like to return it to you. Your return directions are impossible! I did not receive a receipt with my order nor did I get a readily identifiable confirmation receipt. I do not know where these shoes came from or how to return them! I’ve been trying for days. The clock’s ticking folks.

Bought my first pair of shoes

Bought my first pair of shoes, Uma Mary Jane’s, from Aeyde and thoroughly satisfied with the product and service. Order to delivery was amazingly fast. It took four days from the time I placed my order till I received it. The shoes were packaged perfectly and were in perfect shape. Amazing quality. The leather is buttery soft; however the shoes do require breaking in to. I will definitely be getting another pair of shoes from them again.

Prettiest boots, but…

Last year I bought the prettiest pair of boots. Sadly, they started squeaking after wearing them 2 to 3 times. I decided to wait it out and wear them at home, hoping the squeaking would dissapear, but sadly it didn’t. This is really unacceptable for such a price…

I have received significantly…

I have received significantly scratched, damaged and worn shoes. The company taxes a long time to reply and does not acknowledge they have to be more prompt and helpful when they make a mistake. Ended up losing my time on emails/photos/calls and (waiting to) send the package back.

Think twice

Bought the Uma shoes and can only wear them ones a month because have to let the blisters heal after every use. So very badly designed. Clearly they’ve only thought about the looks. The stiching/edge at the heel is very thick and narrow and will dig in to your flesh. Also the shoe goes so low on top of your foot that it will rub the foot of your big toe.

Ich bin irritiert

Ich bin irritiert, und muss die Irritationen offensichtlich los werden: da mich der Kundenservice von aeyde aufforderte englisch zu sprechen. Beim Nachfragen auf englisch, ob ich nicht mit einem deutschen Unternehmen spreche, das als Markenzeichen ‚Made in Berlin‘ führt - sagte sie mir auf Englisch - ja, das ist korrekt - aber unsere offizielle Unternehmenssprache ist englisch. Ich verstehe diese Markenstrategie, U-Kultur und Kundenorientierung nicht und würde es gerne. Irritation bleibt.

I have recently discovered Aeyde shoes

I have recently discovered Aeyde shoes, and love them. They are made with buttery-soft leather that fits the foot perfectly. I now have 2 pairs of the Uma mary janes, and am planning to order a pair of the Inga two-tone flats once they're back in stock. I did have an issue with DHL claiming that I owed import duties on a pair of Umas I had just ordered. They wouldn't release the shoes for delivery until I paid the $25. I contacted Aeyde, who did reassure me that all import duties are included in the price of the shoe. They went ahead and refunded my $25 in a prompt fashion. I will be ordering from Aeyde again, and can confirm that shoes can be ordered from them with confidence.

Buy from sustainable shoe brands instead!

So overpriced, I literally can't find any info on sustainability. There are so many sustainable shoe companies that even do vegan shoes too for like half the price. Bought the Nettie sandals second hand and they are definitely not worth the full pricetag
