AVOID! Returned item which they received back on 3/12/2018 got partial refund on 26/3/2018, poor customer service. I would avoid this company!!

Ordered a Helmet as a Christmas present on 15th December, promised Christmas Delivery.
Despite calling several times a day, we could not reach anyone. After several rings, a message told us we where on hold, forever!
Eventually, on Christmas Eve, someone answered and told us the item was not in stock and hadn't been despatched.
Terrible customer service and reliability.

Order dispatched on the 17/12. Still waiting nine days later.

After numerous bad experiences with British online cycle stores, i emailed them to ensure the jersey was instock as advertised. No reply. Stupidly i took my chances and ordered...of it was not in stock. Still waiting for my refund. Unacceptable.

£4 delivery charge for a pair of socks. Still not arrived 7 days later. No Christmas present for a friend. Disgusted they can charge so much and not deliver in 4 days.

10 days after ordering I am still waiting. Every time I call to speak to someone they put you on hold and then cut you off. I have cancelled the transaction with my card provider. Appalling organisation and they lie when they say that the company is based in the UK when it is based in France. The website says it's run by dedicated cyclists, more like thieves.

Evitate di comprare in questo sito. Ho effettuato l'acquisto in data 14/07/2018. Dopo 1 settimana mi hanno detto che potevano soddisfare solo parzialmente il mio ordine, perché un articolo non veniva più trattato da loro. Ho risposto che volevo la restituzione dei soldi, in quanto ho fatto un ordine di 2 articoli e non me ne facevo nulla del 50% dell'ordine. Mi hanno risposto che andava bene. Pensai "sono onesti" e rimasi soddisfatto della risposta. Ahimè, invece passarono 2 settimane e dei soldi del rimborso nemmeno l'ombra. Il valore era intorno ai 200 euro e non potevo acquistare da un'altra parte perché si trattava di un progetto con budget e finché non vedevo restituiti questi soldi non potevo fare nulla. Contattai Acycles. Al telefono NON rispondono, per mail sì, ma davano scuse idiote del tipo "si...si...stiamo effettuando il rimborso". Arrivò la prima decade di Agosto (+ di 3 settimana dall'ordine e dal rimborso) dei soldi nemmeno l'ombra e le risposte alle e-mail furono "ormai siamo in vacanza...te li diamo dopo i soldi." Allibito aspettai. Inizi di settembre. Aspettai. Arrivò il 10 settembre. Basta mi dissi. Andai in banca per risolvere la questione dato che Acycles non lo voleva fare nonostante ho minacciato di andare in banca! Arrivato in banca e spiegato la situazione, mi dissero che avevo ancora 4 giorni per fare reclamo tramite la banca perchè gli acquisti on line hanno tempo 2 mesi per annullare il pagamento. Portai tutte le documentazioni che posso girare a chiunque di voi che mi sta leggendo e solo dopo l'intervento della banca, passate altre 3 settimana ho riavuto i soldi. Parliamo di 200 euro. Restituzione fine settembre con ritardo del progetto di 2,5 mesi. Questi sono dei truffatori che aspettano di far scadere i limiti di tempo di pagamento per metterti con le spalle al muro. EVITATE di acquistare da questi individui. Tutto quello che ho scritto è documentabile. Ho portato i documenti, le conversazioni in banca e mi hanno dato ragione. Non ho problemi a dimostrare quello che dico. Evitate di comprare da Acycles.

You don’t get any updates about your order, I only got one to say it had been shipped and nothing else no expected delivery email. Poor organisation but the product good.

If it wasn't for the sale price of the item I wanted being so much lower than it is elsewhere, I'd not use Acycles again. I ordered a bike frame on 26/11/18 and had no communication for a couple of weeks about the order dispatching. Upon chasing up the issue, I was told that it wasn't in stock and that they'd had to order it from the factory. Once the bike eventually arrived it was in the wrong colour. It's been sent back and I was promised that the correct frame would be sent as soon as that was collected. Almost a month after ordering, I'm still waiting and with no reply or new information about the order being sent to me. Having spent £2,500 on a bike frame, I'd expect a little more communication and service, let alone the right thing being sent to me!

EDIT, as a response to Acycles' reply below: just get better in future. If there's a delay, keep people informed. Also, let people know where you're based on your About Us page.

First, a general issue regarding trustworthiness, and then my experience.

Acycles.co.uk is actually based in France, but they don't give any indication of this anywhere. I only worked it out because I went to their About Us page and they gave their company name as "SARL 2JBIKE EUROPE", SARL being the French acronym for a limited company. Also their price filter says Prix :)
They really ought to be upfront about where they are. Yes, this would have factored into my purchase decision (due to the potential for more expensive postage if I needed to return an item), but that's my decision to make.

As for my purchase, the offer was 33% off RRP for a newly released top of the range helmet, which seemed almost too good to be true. So I did some research, including reading some worrying reviews here on Trustpilot, but decided to take the risk due to the great deal and the option to pay via PayPal. I ordered early morning 27th November and received the automated confirmation. Then nothing until Thursday 6th December, when they told me they'd shipped the item. It arrived on Monday 10th December, packaged acceptably (I'd have liked to have seen some padding, but perhaps I'm being overly cautious).

The item was showing as In Stock, and I notice they proudly claim "Real Time Stock: Orders made before 4pm dispatched the same day", but I was left without a helmet for 10 days longer than expected, with no contact at all. The issue was less the inconvenience and more that I was nervous about possibly having been being ripped off.

Anyway, I got a good deal, despite having to wait and worry. I won't be ordering from Acycles.fr (sorry, Acycles.co.uk, silly me) again, unless there's another deal good enough to tempt me to risk it.

The product was well packed and the payment method and communications were fine. Delivery was easy to track but a signature was required and the product must be checked for transit damage on arrival, so you need to be home. The package was dispatched very quickly but took slightly longer to arrive than more local suppliers.

Having ordered a child’s bike helmet which was apparently in stock in the website the money was debited from my account. Eventually having enquired as to where the helmet was I was told it was out of stock - even though the website still showed it as in stock. Despite numerous emails I am still awaiting a refund and the helmet still shows as in stock that is now 6+ weeks later. APPALLING

Items exactly as described at a great price with prompt shipment

Ordered item they took money when product was out of stock with no communication sent numerous e-mails when I cancelled the order they dispatched goods which were poorly packaged and arrived battered.
Would not use.

Appalling! Waited over five weeks to receive half of my order. I emailed several times and told the item would be with me by the end of the week. It never happened. Never had any correspondence from them to tell me different, I had to contact them each time. I then wanted to cancel the order and have a refund to which I was told I couldn’t do!
I’m still waiting...
