The Access Team were great. Initially I had not supplied all the necessary information. They were prompt to email me for more and in no time at all the informed my I had been accepted. Throught the process the team were helpful and respectful.
I can't thank them enough.
I can now go places that I have been unable to do in the past.

I applied for the access card and nothing happened for 4 weeks.I send them an email requesting about the update on my card, with in couple of days I had an email confirming my acceptance so I paid little bit extra for next day delivery .Received the card on time and all good to go. I can get out of the house now with a companion to look after me as well.Thank you to Access Card team. Well Done

Really great experience as communication, help and guidance excellent. Without this I would not have been able to attend the Teddy Swims concert in Glasgow and I would have been hugely disappointed.

The card is brilliant for letting people know about my disabilities without me having to explain it repeatedly everywhere I go.

I found the Access Card to be a complete waste of time and money. My child has complex needs and requires continuous one-to-one support when she’s able to attend events.

Despite providing detailed evidence the +1 essential companion symbol was refused. She had previously been awarded the +1 symbol over three years ago, yet her needs have significantly increased since then.

Without the +1 symbol, the card offers very little value to us because many venues won’t provide the reasonable adjustment she needs to attend safely. I feel the application process raised expectations that weren’t met, leaving us out of pocket with a card we are very unlikely to be able to use.

This has been a very disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend the service based on our experience.

Quick and easy. The response was within 24 hours which is amazing. Waiting for my card which will arrive in 20 days. Woo hoo

Total rip off for the disabled. Previously we have always been able to get carer’s tickets through Evebrite with the pip award letter. Why we have had to purchase this card this year is beyond me. Company is impossible to communicate with. Wait on the phone then get cut off. Send an email and you receive an automated response requesting that you don’t block up their inbox. Our photo wasn’t right the first time .I asked for help to understand what was needle received none. They take days to answer an email if they answer it at all. The whole process took a month so then we had to pay another £12 for express delivery. Total exploitation. Sadly I had to give one star to write a review they don’t deserve any.

The initial application form on their website was really easy to fill in, though I would stress in hindsight that you do fill in as much detail as possible; more than you think you would need. I had an email response where I needed to provide more specific information, and the turnaround time is fairly long (5-10 working days) so be prepared for this. Despite the waits the Access card team have been great and were really informative in the additional details I needed to provide. I was so happy when I received the confirmation email in the end, and will recommend this service to others. Thank you.

I applied for a card as my friend told me about it. I didn’t provide enough information so had a delay. Been told today it’s being processed. I applied for the card in May and processed today 23rd June and great it’s for 3 years

Awful is how I would describe my experience. I have just renewed my access card because I need evidence for the very few outings I go to yearly.

They have decided to change the symbols and when I challenged it was told I was not entitled to one of them (crowded spaces). I sent a reply and asked for this one and another one (Assistance Dog) to be added back only to receive a reply this evening after about 2 weeks completing ignoring the request relating to the first symbol and telling me they no long include the second one. I would not mind but the venues I attend use the nimbus system on their online booking function and without it I cannot book the tickets I am entitled to.

Totally unhelpful and disrespectful to disabled people. What givens them the right to decide how my disabilies affect me?

Updated 6/07/26. Finally after weeks of complaining and sending emails back they have finally agreed to added the crowded space symbol. I had to pay about £5 to get a replacement card. So much hassle. They tried to say when i renewed my card I had said there were no chances which is correct but they are the ones to change the symbols on the card not me. My new card arrived on Saturday all correct.

I didn’t realise the Thorpe park access pass had changed and they managed to urgently approve it on a Saturday. I am so grateful for such a fantastic service

Nimbus Access Card needs 10/10 The customer service is Outstanding. They helped me on a Sunday which is amazing. Always replying to my emails, keeping me updated on my daughters card renewal process. I cannot stress how helpful they have been.
