I completed my Access to Health Science's course with the exceptional support from both my tutors as well as Amy. The course is well structured, providing information for the assignments and guidance for Uni.

Highly recommend!
I have only positive things to say about AOLL! I decided to use AOLL as I worked full-time as a dental nurse but wanted to apply for university to study dental hygiene in 2025. The flexibility of the online access to dental hygiene and therapy course meant I did not have to fit college around my job. I will say that doing an access course this way takes lots of discipline as I started my course in October 2024 and finished in May 2025, meaning I had to learn the concepts and complete an assignment roughly every 11 days to meet the deadline I wanted. That being said, AOLL is great for people who don’t need set lessons and are happy to manage the workload around full-time work. I had Jess and Mike as tutors during my course and they were both superb with marking my assignments efficiently and were always quick to reply to messages when I needed help. The assignments are extremely clear and manageable, providing a mixture of questions with anywhere between 100-1000 words. There were only a couple of times I had to contact IT support but they resolved my issues within the hour. I highly recommend using AOLL for those who are determined to work independently and need to get their access course done around other commitments.

The biology course is really good and has massively developed my knowledge and prepared me for university. I loved how I could manage my own time, I could complete the work anywhere, and the information was all centred around my future course. Good Experience
My tutor Nicola provided constructive feedback and steered me in the right direction on the 'Health Professions' access course. She was also very prompt to respond to messages and marked my work quickly. Amy was also very helpful. Just be aware that you will not be spoon-fed during the course, you have to be willing to work hard and be able to motivate yourself to do the work! However, I had a positive experience and would recommend Academy Online Learning.
