I hadn’t ever had to plan a funeral before and it all felt very daunting, especially at such a difficult time when you’re trying to process losing someone you loved. A B Walker were brilliant at guiding me through the whole process and I didn’t ever feel under pressure, even though some decisions had to be made quite quickly. I hadn’t realised how important it was to pick the right funeral director and I’m very pleased we went with A B Walker.

Everyone I spoke to was professional and compassionate. They took me though the process simply and without rushing.
On the day, the pall bearers were repectful and in the circumstances I could not have been happie with the outcome

We asked Walkers to provide a service for our newly departed dad and with a week to go our mum passed away too and Walkers managed to make the impossible happen. So we had a joint funeral and it all went according to plan. A special thank you to Beverley, James, Emily and Rachael. Would highly recommend the service and support. Amanda & Joanna.

A.B. walker in Tilehurst organised my Dads funeral. I could not have asked for a better service. Every member of staff worked in a caring, kind,organised and professional way.
A difficult time was made so much easier and nothing was left to chance. I had full confidence in their abilities and at no point worried that anything would go wrong. A special extra thanks to Becky who was so lovely to have contact with and to James who was so reassuring and helpful at the crematorium.

Losing my Mum was the worst time of my life, the thought of arranging a funeral for my lovely mum was very hard.
Laura at the Henley office was kind respectful and reassuring from the start, nothing was too much trouble, even when we kept changing the music for the service.
The day of the funeral went so smoothly and the staff on the day were so well organised and again kind.

Extremely professional but still sympathetic.

At a time when life has thrown a curve ball, and nothing makes sense, A.B Walker are the best in the business. The attention to detail is exceptional. They not only treat you with respect but also your deceased one. They were really professional courteous. They explain everything clearly and were always at hand if we had any questions. I can't thank them enough.

Jordan at AB Walker in Bracknell is an amazing caring & compassionate young lady. My family will be forever grateful to her for the way she looked after Jack when he arrived into her care and her truly gentle way that she guided us through such a distressing time. Mark & his team were absolutely brilliant on the day.

ABW( Henley-on-Thames branch ) went above and beyond planning and supporting us , to organise our Mum's ( Sue ) funeral . It was flawless.

My Mother , Sister and I wish to give our heartfelt thanks to Mark our Funeral Director, the pallbearers and Emily from Earley branch for the funeral preparations and giving my late Father such a fitting send off. We are grateful in the way Mark gave my family and friends such a dignified crematorium service making it possible for us and our Priest to say our prayers and bid my Father farewell at the West Chapel in Caversham . Jordan was amazing and helped us through the process at what was, obviously, a difficult time. No question or request was ever considered too small. The funeral director I dealt with helped arrange a funeral that went far better than I could have hoped.

The kindness and compassion they showed towards me at the loss of my mum was second to none. They explained everything to me as regards what they would do for my mum for her final journey and I couldnt have wish for any better. They did exactly what my mum wanted and I can't thank them enough. The staff at A B Walker are just the best.
