The whole experience was dealt with such care and compassion from start to finish. We were helped with all processes and details. The staff and celebrant were absolutely first class. Jordan helped us through every step of the way, from choosing flowers and organising photos. The celebrant, Chris, was so calm and drew out memories long forgotten. He helped us put together a service that perfectly reflected my husband Keith.
Even the staff at the crematorium were so helpful and respectful.

The staff were very supportive, helpful and patient. Everything was arranged smoothly and sensitively.

Not cheap but that’s the only negative. They organised everything flawlessly, explained everything, responded quickly and positively to every request and were incredibly easy to deal with.

This is obviously a service nobody wants to use but if you have to, AB Walker is 100% recommended.

Losing my husband of 54 years to Alzheimer’s was terrible thing to go through, but I have to say that that everyone at Walkers was wonderful throughout the whole process of saying a last goodbye to the man I have shared my whole adult life with.

Without a doubt five stars, kind considerate to say the least. Having to deal with the death of my husband was heartbreaking. So I explained what we had discussed over the years and everything was carried out without any problems or stress and lots of kindness. In the past my family have used this company regardless of the age of the deceased and always excellent treatment every time. I can’t recommend this company and all who work there enough.

AB Walker made the planning of my Sisters funeral really easy. They were compassionate, caring and kept us informed of everything that we needed to do. All the staff were really supportive and kind.

After the death of my husband, myself, my son. my daughter and grandson booked an appointment at the Thatcham office; we didn't have a clue what to expect or how to go about arranging a funeral, we were greeted by Rachel Foy, she guided us through everything nothing was too much trouble, we had our own celebrant and she worked with us and Rachel until everything was perfect, even us hiring a horse and carriage at a very late date, she took it all in her stride and nothing was too much trouble, on the day everything went without a hitch, it all ran smoothly, the driver of the limousine was Julian he also was brilliant and made the day so special, We were treated with great respect and courtesy all day, the company and the family should be very proud of the service you provided, Thank you.

From the very first contact with A B Walker I and my family were treated with great respect and kindness. We were dealt with by Rachel Foy at the Thatcham branch and she was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and we felt we were listened to and cared for. On the day of the cremation we were looked after by James and his team, who again were fantastic and kind. I don’t know their names but the ladies at the Reading and Wokingham branches were also lovely as I spoke to them on the phone on occasion. All in all I would whole heartily recommend A B Walker to look after you and your loved ones
