It is with great concern that I must disclose a serious issue involving an employee of 8 Chaos Non-Profit, Ms. Arlene Dayoan. This communication is not reflective of the services or mission of 8 Chaos Non-Profit but pertains to Ms. Dayoan’s conduct in a personal transaction with our company, which has legal and ethical implications.
Ms. Dayoan purchased trading software from our company, which explicitly does not guarantee profits, as clearly communicated at the point of sale. Following her dissatisfaction with her results, Ms. Dayoan demanded a full refund in violation of our no-refunds policy. Our attempt to resolve the matter through a partial refund was not accepted. Subsequently, Ms. Dayoan has threatened to inflict reputational damage on our company by posting false and defamatory reviews unless we comply with her demands for payment beyond what was originally agreed. We interpret these actions as an attempt at extortion, which is a serious criminal offense.
We have endeavored to resolve this matter privately; however, the nature of Ms. Dayoan’s actions, involving threats of defamation to coerce an unwarranted payment, compels us to inform the public and her associates of this conduct. We believe such actions could potentially reflect on her professional integrity and ethics and felt it necessary to communicate these concerns transparently.
