not mad about system all automated BS when negotiating system everything geared towards me paying for something I had changed (shoe size) then checked out Klarna which I think quoted me in USD but me in EURO mode then hit a button and transaction complete ok happens in google play a bit but getting annoyed at this bullshit automated crap seconds to make transacton months to sort out

I love the 8000 kicks shoes! They are super comfortable, look amazing and are long lasting! Every time I get into the rain I think „oh no, now I will be wet“ - and then I am not! They are super waterproofed, even after I put them in the washing machine.
I have been buying these shoes since 5 years now and have no intention to ever stop!
I walk about 2000km in them each year and can recommend them 100% !

Seguiamo questo brand fin dai loro esordi su Kickstarter, piattaforma sulla quale avevamo già acquistato i loro zaini in canapa. Eravamo inizialmente scettici riguardo alla calzatura, specialmente a causa dello spostamento della produzione in Asia rispetto ai primi lotti realizzati in Portogallo, poiché prestiamo sempre grandissima attenzione agli standard qualitativi della manifattura. Questa volta, tuttavia, abbiamo dovuto ricrederci completamente.
Abbiamo acquistato due paia dello stesso modello, il Seeker, sia per me che per la mia ragazza, e ne siamo entrambi pienamente soddisfatti. Le scarpe si rivelano straordinariamente comode per l'uso quotidiano e lo stile, semplice ma estremamente efficace, le rende versatili. Il tessuto in fibra di canapa rispetta le promesse di un prodotto ecologico e privo di lavorazioni o colle chimiche invasive, mentre la suola – che in questo specifico modello è realizzata in gomma riciclata e naturale anziché nella mescola di alghe vista su altre linee del brand – garantisce un ottimo grip (ottime per skate e longboard, testate.)
La prova del nove è avvenuta durante una giornata di acqua alta a Venezia: l'impermeabilità del tessuto ha tenuto perfettamente i piedi all'asciutto, a patto ovviamente di non immergere completamente la calzatura oltre il livello della caviglia. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è decisamente corretto e l'azienda si dimostra una realtà seria, presente e che tiene profondamente alla qualità del proprio lavoro. Un acquisto che rifaremo sicuramente in futuro, come daily shoes sono perfette.

Bought a size UK 8 pair of trainers from 8000 Kicks. They sent size UK 6.5. No reply to any emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Zero customer service and they cannot fulfill an order. What a waste of £125.

Supported a campaign on Kickstarter, and as I am in Scandinavia, I made sure to size up since these were produced near the Mediterranean, and I know from experience that the same size in different parts of Europe are often not actually the same. (Edit: they did also provide size guides, but again, the sizing up was not enough - would have had to go up three sizes, and even so, they were very very narrow, which doesn't suit my Scandinavian feet).

Well, I didn't size up enough. They were expensive, too small, and I ended up giving away these €300 shoes to someone with substantially smaller feet.

Oh, and that was after months and months and months of delays.

So, when another campaign rolled around, I supported it with €1, so I could comment and warn other supporters about the delays and discrepancies in size. At the end of the campaign, I paid the amount, but have since been inundated with attempts to upsell other products to be sent to me with my €1 "reward". Which, by the way, they want me to pay €29 for. So, in summary, this company feels like a Chinese scam, where they suck you in, send you products that don't fit the description, then let AI handle any complaints with cheeky auto responses, while trying to milk you for more money than you've agreed to.

Look, if you're bored and want something kind of entertaining in its ridiculousness, get yourself right into this abusive relationship. However, if you like a drama free life and have removed toxic companies from your day to day, this is a company from which I'd advise to stay away.

Edit to update: My pledge was refunded on September 8th, 2026, after I wrote to the company to ask about the upsales and the 29x bigger expense than agreed upon. My complaint experience was excellent, if it to be reviewed. I got an email back from what I seem to remember to be a senior executive, who not only apologized for the many many emails with upsale attempts, but also decided on his own volition (without me asking) to cancel and refund my pledge, which was not necessary.

While my experience of the quality of products and fitting of the products was not good at all, their care to alleviate my concerns and their sincere attempts to reach out to me and try to right what they can is really most kind of them. I have upgraded my overall experience of the company to a three star for that, and do wish them well, even though I don't think that their products and my feet are compatible.

The physical store in lx factory has never heard of them... This address is still on their official website. Was going to buy a couple pairs but after especially going down to the physical place they themselves tell you to go to and them simply not being there is really something. Wouldn't trust any other claims they make.

I went there, and got nothing. I found the store. That wasn't the issue. It's great you say you have a second location that you don't inform clients about but if the only way to find out about it is by leaving a review then you are doing yourself a great disservice.

The shoes fit well and feel lighter than the first pair I got years ago when they were called DopeKicks. Customer service was excellent; the CEO emailed me directly to ask how I liked them.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, but I do want you to know that these are my go-to shoes for pretty much everything these days. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

I only hope you offer more wide toe box options in the future!

I bought 2 shoes and a backpack, and unfortunately, neither lasted and the quality is terrible....

The shoes are technically waterproof, but after the first contact of light rain it started to get stained. I tried to wash it, and it got so much worse. I thought it was my fault for washing it and leaving it soaked, so I bought another one and decided to never wash it. But it still got stained from light rain or walking in wet grass.

Beyond that, after a couple months of use, both started tearing apart. And the inside of the backpack is completely torn as well, after travelling with it for a couple of times.

After my original post (where they ghosted me), the company contacted me and said their system had been emailing me and they don't know what happened. They did not have the color I ordered (didn't have it when I ordered it), but offered alternatives. I requested a refund instead and they gave it to me quickly. Upgrading from 1 star to 3, as the refund experience was good.

I ordered a pair of Trekkers on 7/4, got an automatic email confirmation. After a couple of weeks, I replied (as their email says to do) asking about the order, and got an automatic email saying they usually respond within 24 hours (business days). A week later I tried calling the number on their site and it seems to be invalid. So I emailed again, got another automated response, and still no shoes or any contact explaining the delay.

My credit card showed the charge the next business day after I ordered them (7/6), so I would have expected some response by now.

Initially, my experience with the order was quite frustrating due to a system glitch and duplicate payment issues, which led me to leave a negative review.
​However, how the team handled the situation completely turned things around. The Operations Manager, Patrícia, handled my case with incredible empathy, honesty, and professionalism. The refund was processed lightning-fast, and as a gesture of apology for the stress caused, they generously sent me a free pair of shoes and hemp socks!
​Glitches happen, but 8000Kicks proved how much they value their customers. They fully regained my trust, and I ended up backing their new model on Kickstarter. Fantastic customer support!

I’ve been really impressed with 8000Kicks. The quality of the products is excellent, especially if you’re looking for comfortable, lightweight shoes that are a bit different from the usual brands. You can tell there’s a lot of thought put into both the design and the materials.

Customer support was also quick, friendly and genuinely helpful whenever I had a question. It’s refreshing to see a company that actually stands behind its products.

I have fairly wide feet, and finding comfortable shoes is often a challenge. The Explorer Wide has been a fantastic surprise. The wide toe box gives my feet the space they naturally need, making these shoes extremely comfortable even after wearing them for long periods.
The fit feels natural, the materials are lightweight, and the overall build quality looks excellent. I also really like the minimalist design and the Light Green color.
As a vegan, I'm always looking for high-quality vegan footwear that doesn't compromise on comfort, durability, or style. These shoes tick all the boxes. It was great to find a company that combines vegan materials with a wide-toe design.
I haven't had the opportunity to test them in heavy rain yet, but I'm very curious to see how the water-resistant hemp material performs in wet conditions.
So far, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and can highly recommend these shoes to anyone with wide feet, especially if you're looking for comfortable and stylish vegan footwear.

I ordered the Chelsea boots and Seeker sneakers, and they're both super comfortable, and I also appreciate that they're waterproof too. There was an inconsistency regarding one Chelsea boot, and their customer service handled the issue immediately. Based on this positive experience, I ordered two more pairs of Seekers in different colors. I look forward to trying more styles and colors in the future!

I started with 2 pairs of trekkers and socks via a Kickstarter, adding a wallet. Then I got the Kickstarter for a Commuter bag set. Loved every product.
The socks I got with the trekkers were so good I had to have more - I have honestly not spent so much money on socks in my life so far, combined, as I just have on this last order ... but they're just so comfy!

I ordered a pair of Men’s Runners and found that they were a bit too small. I worked with the team at 8000Kicks to arrange an exchange. The responsiveness was quick and super polite across all of the associates I spoke with. Now that I have them the shoes themselves are fabulous and I’m ready for the stress test.

Great shoes. Very light and comfortable to wear. And they look very good too.
