I am very disappointed with how my case was handled by FlixBus customer service.
One of our rides was cancelled by FlixBus due to operational reasons. Because of this cancellation, we had to cancel our return trip ourselves and arrange alternative transport. When trying to correct the situation through the cancellation link provided by FlixBus, the system issued a voucher instead of a refund.
When I contacted customer service to explain that this happened while trying to resolve an issue caused by their cancellation, I repeatedly received the same standard response referring to their terms and conditions. It felt like my explanation and the documentation I provided were not actually reviewed.
I understand that companies have policies, but in situations where the issue originated from a cancellation by FlixBus, I would expect a more reasonable and customer-focused solution.
Unfortunately, this experience left me with the feeling that customer service is not really looking at individual cases, but simply repeating standard responses.
Because of this experience, I will think twice before booking with FlixBus again.
