I bought a model kit and a roll of tape…

I bought a model kit and a roll of tape from Hobbycraft online. I received an email saying I could pick it up. When I went to the Hobbycraft Bolton store, I was surprised to find that the item I ordered was out of stock. The store wanted to substitute another model kit. Why weren't they notified me beforehand that the model I ordered was out of stock? It was a waste of my time and a wasted trip!

Box damaged

Delivery was fast and the transaction went smoothly. Unfortunately, the box arrived damaged. I reported the issue to customer service but haven’t received a reply yet.

I don’t recommend this store

I don’t recommend this store. They only reply the customers…shipment delays, due to retailer delays…is it the consumer need to concern about ? this is customer’s fault ? and why no one answer the phone calls ? it seems abnormal for any kind of business. i have visited your shop and drop me number but you didn’t call back.

We understand your frustration. Logistics delays can happen for various reasons and this affects all official retailers in the UK, not just us. This is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions, which were confirmed before you placed the order.

We accept cancellations if a customer prefers not to wait. In your case, we did not receive any cancellation request by email before the release day, including after your visit to our shop, so we assumed you were happy to proceed until the stock release.
