Our upcoming holiday was thrown in chaos with the unfortunate troubles in the Middle East.
This is when a great company and their consultants really do come into their own.
We were going to the Maldives and staying on two islands, a week on each. Then back to Dubai for several nights.
Billy Nicholson who looks after us booking all our holidays has been absolutely amazing. He managed to unravel our existing booking and rebook us on a different airline but still to the two islands we want to visit in the Maldives.
We are so grateful for his advice and patience.

We paid for the most expensive car park at LBA, Premium parking closest to terminal. I must add, this particular car park has moved from it's old location and it was a better set up before. It is the closest however not easy as you have to pull your cases uphill and the route is not that clear to get to terminal. Also it is all outdoors so should it rain you would be soaked.
Upon landing back the barrier recognised our number plate and said £965.00 due, we had already paid beforehand many months ago, a much smaller fee, approx £190 for 2 weeks. We pressed the button for help and an associate answered, after explaining we had paid she did her checks and released the barrier.
Overall not a good experience. In future we would not pay for this car park.

Rescue flight out of Skiathos due to the storms. Our original flight was cancelled due to the adverse conditions. Jet2 constantly updated us regarding the situation. We were on a flight only and the daily allowance was extremely generous for accomodation and meals.
